The segmentation and ability to specifically target personas with different flows is very valuable Cons There is a lot of work required to manage this software - but that's only because it is so powerful. You will get out what you put into it - so you need to be prepared to spend tine with this to set-up the campaigns and flows and monitor it for best results. Most of my ecommerce clients use this and this helps me with creating better facebook audiences. Pros I like the segmentation features. You can create lists of people who bought 2+ times, people who bought goods worth $100 or more. Also you can sync these lists with facebook audiences and this makes retargeting more powerful. The set up for Klaviyo was simple and easy, as was the creation and send process. I would recommend testing it, especially if you have a very visual product catalog, as the image captures are what impressed us most. Pros Sharp and crisp product images that look great delivered via email. Cons The initial trial offer should be longer to be able to test deliverability, open rate and conversion rates. Sold to me as a feature and only discovered this after, and I had two developers try to work on adding it in with no success so I still have to pay for a separate app for that. It's great for the basics and must-haves for automation, but it's not as robust as I thought it would be. I was an interim email manager and had to learn quickly, and I felt that Klaviyo was the perfect tool to easily setup flows/automations. Cons Exporting customer segments and reports seem to take longer than expected. Depending on the size of the export, it can take hours to completely export. The full Klaviyo suite itself is much more powerful and can be used instead of Mailchimp for a complete direct email marketing solution. Pros A powerful direct email marketing toolset with tracking, analytics, segments, feeds, and discount codes. Cons The WYSIWYG editor for email templates could use some fine tuning. August 1, 2018 4.0 Its really easy to set-up and use whether you are doing it yourself or hire a designer it won't be difficult to get something built and sent. Pros Similar to Mailchimp, Klaviyo has a drag and drop builder that is really easy to use if you are not accustomed to designing emails. I client needed me to build their email in it and I had never used it before and the time required for learning was almost non existent. If you have ever used Mailchimp, the interface is fairly similar. Cons It is not a free for all in terms of easily being able to add buttons or links on top of graphics you have designed. If you want more than one link in the email you have to split up the graphics into sections so that each section can be its own link. Review Source IS Ishan S. Cons Out of the box email emplates could be improved - but this is easily overcome.
