It is very easy to set up campaigns and flows, however it has its limits. After a certain point, refining your emails and the results becomes too time consuming. Pros If you are new to lifecycle marketing or just looking for something to replace Mailchimp with, this is a nice product with useful features to get you started. Its dashboard is quite clear and intuitive. Cons Manipulating a template and filtering email results or recipients could definitely be taken up a notch. What really makes it stand out Cons It's conditionals (the "if/then" type statements used to build filters for email targeting) have always been a little lacking for me; I can never get quite as specific or defined as I'd like. " January 25, 2017 5.0 Klaviyo pairs incredibly well with Shopify data. It is an incredible medium for building an audience and for following up with customers with valuable information such as installation guides. We love to hear from our customers and queue up emails to check in and ask for real feedback months down the line. Klaviyo is a really useful tool for drafting emails for sorting through your customers and for getting content out quickly and smoothly. The more you use it, the more you pay but the free version is great for getting started. I have referred this to friends who are starting email lists for their yoga practices and people who are new to blogging and emails. It's very intuitive and easy to configure to your needs but it does take a while to really understand all of the functionality that is really availability. Review Source JS Joan S. December 10, 2019 3.0 This was originally meant to track shipping for products and manage our customers info and shipments. Pros This software seemed pretty great up front and even seemed really affordable. I am sure it can do quite a few things that I am fully unaware of. Cons Up front it asked me to make a deposit of $20 to be used on future charges moving forward. Pretty soon after that they changed their pricing structure and moved to a different fee base. That's when I lost my $20 and it would no longer be used toward my charges. Klaviyo is hard to understand, link, and setup. There is a LOT that goes into customizing your emails and other custom settings. It's very intuitive once you get familiar with the tools and their support team is incredibly helpful. We've had a great connection with our Account Manager as well which really gives us an opportunity to maximize our use of it. It has A LOT of features and tools. I would say that is its strongest attribute but can also be a bummer if you are not tech savvy. You can customize the heck out of the emails and options as well. But again that can lend to a bit of overwhelm. Cons It's a LOT at first and hard to know if you did everything right and checked all the boxes when you get it set up. You introduce customers to these automations for better returns. Generally user-friendly even though it has lots of functionality. It integrates well with Shopify enabling you to observe customer data. Cons There is no phone support, i find this really bizarre. Customer support spends more time creating a video and sending to you when they could walk you over things much quicker over the phone. This would be much more efficient and helpful. Pros It was very intuitive and easy to use I did not need to watch tutorials really to figure stuff out since it was new to me, along with setting up a shopify store, I did need some help from support and they were great Cons The pricing is definitely a bit higher when it comes to having volume subscribers, but not out of the norm for the market. Cons It takes a while to get your head around some of the settings and setting it up. To make the most of it, some basic coding knowledge will help. With the need for segmentation and better targeting, we quickly realized his existing email provider was incapable of providing this functionality, so we decided to turn to Klaviyo to fill the need. The platform is brilliant, we were able to segment by user attributes and purchase behaviors, we were able to pull in custom product feeds, we were even able to export segments to Facebook for targeted ad campaigns. Klaviyo wins big points for usability, customization and results and we'll continue to use the platform. Pros The list segmentation and automated flows are incredibly powerful.
