Pros I love that you can customize templates. I also love the live trackers that shows you what emails are being productive and which ones are not. Cons I’ve tried reaching out to Klaviyo for a tutorial to maximize the product with no success. It is an affordable marketing tool that could move your business to a different perspective for your clients. Pros It is really intuitive and integrated with our eCommerce platform. The synergy between Klaviyo and our sales is the deal breaker for increase our sales via marketing channels. Cons So far, there is nothing that I don't like. The amazingness starts from the transition process which Klaviyo nearly handled 100%. Their API pulled our entire MC account down and recreated it within their system. Boom! Fully set up and ready to start emailing. We seriously got out our first email within a few days where we expected a setup time of weeks. The UI is clean and simple to use for us on a daily basis. We send 6 custom emails a week so you can imagine is it quite the work. Klaviyo has made us much more efficient in getting those emails out. We are just getting into the flows and automation. They saw big improvements in customer win-backs, so I can't rate this product high enough. Cons I have carpal tunnel, so having to point and click around with the mouse is painful, but it must be done. It's all well-documented so the integration module was ready in 2 or 3 days. We still need to overcome one minor issue but I hope it won't take long as the customer support is on it. What I love most about Klaviyo is how deep we can go with triggering mails and flows. This is really powerful and it's really up to us how we make use of it. The bottom line is that it really works. In the first 2 days after launching abandoned cart series we earned almost 1.2k in revenue from this campaign alone. The software literally pays for itself. Pros I love the ease of use, especially in regards to their automation features. Using their automatic email flows, I have been able to substantially increase sales on our website. And now with their new visual UI, I can actually visualize when an email will be sent and who will receive it. Cons I would like to see more ability to customize certain aspects of the emails I send. March 1, 2017 5.0 We have been using Klaviyo for about 9 months now and couldn't be happier with what it can offer us. The analytics are excellent and being able to track the revenue derived from different campaigns is a great tool to have on hand to ensure time and energy is not being wasted on areas that are not generating a great return. The usability is good and the overall suite of features is excellent. We are very happy with the product and will be remaining customers well into the future. Pros The stats and tracking of emails. Cons Being able to preview an email while still editing is frustrating to work out at times. A nice, big preview button would be perfect on the email creation/editing page. It can be a difficult to learn at first, but once I got a hold of it, I am starting to enjoy using it. It seems to be a lot less difficult to use than Mailchimp which is great. The analytics they provide also seem to be much more in depth than other companies that provide similar services. Cons The pricing to me is a bit off. If you have a large user base to market to, you will be paying a lot for the premium versions of Klaviyo. It doesn't seem as cost effective as Mailchimp or other competitors, which could be a problem for companies with tighter budgets. Review Source JG Jeff G. The cart abandonment works flawlessly (see cons). The Wordpress plugin is decent. Cons The simplicity of the email automation will soon be outgrown. It is difficult-to-impossible to duplicate campaigns and significant rework must be done. Cart abandonment is good, but only picked up if they begin to checkout. I wish it worked if they had entered the email address anywhere (ex: if they subscribed to a newsletter and then began browsing, but did not initiate checkout.) January 18, 2017 5.0 I was new to Klaviyo and, based on a recommendation, decided to use it with a new Shopify store I was rolling out. Wow, what an incredible piece of software! It integrates beautifully with Shopify, giving me all kinds of power to add customers to email flows or send them one-off emails based on a host of criteria. I can do everything you'd expect from a good email provider, plus things like send emails to everyone who browsed a certain page on the site or everyone who purchased a particular product or who had a certain order size or who hasn't purchased in a certain amount of time. The possibilities are endless. It's very straightforward and incredibly easy to use. I give it a hearty recommendation for Shopify store owners! Pros Ease of use, flexibility and power Cons A couple of limitations with its functionality and Shopify integration, such as not being able to trigger an email flow when a customer's shipment gets marked out for delivery, or not being able to save pre-configured blocks of content to drag and drop into every email. By chance the guys at HeyCarson recommended Klaviyo to me and what makes it awesome: - Dedicated Shopify Templates and Flows - Full integration Don't get me wrong, you do need to spend a day or two doing your own emails. But literally once live, it's set and forget (except for the occasional optimisation tweak). I love how it shows how much money I've made from each flow and campaign.. and this software has paid itself back 10-fold. Pros Pre-set templates easy to use, getting started section. Once we moved to Klaviyo we felt that we finally found what we were looking for. Our company is an eCommerce site (running on Shopify), but our products are a bit complex and unique...we don't simply sell items. We have to build a strong relationship with customers to increase return purchases and we rely on communications and education to improve conversions and increase awareness. Klaviyo's system is great at segmenting (automatically and manually) customers into groups that represent the stage of our customer relationship. This makes it very easy and efficient for us to be confident we are sending appropriate messages to the right group of people. You have to email them, wait for a response. If like me, you're not exactly a technophile, you will find it extremely difficult to navigate the support documents and fix your support issue.
