It also solved the age-old problem of “Where do I even start?”—the templates and guidance made setup fast, smooth, and zero-stress. Plus, we got great feedback from users who said it was one of the few surveys they actually enjoyed taking. That’s... not normal. In the best way. Pros Creating the survey was surprisingly fun (yes, fun). The interface was intuitive, the flow made sense, the large range of different interaction types was refreshing. The survey was a success, according to our users, even entertaining. Also: massive kudos for the support. Not a faceless chatbot or auto-generated nonsense, but an actual human being who was responsive, helpful, and—rare in this universe—nice. 10/10, would ask for help again. Cons Hard to say—honestly, we didn’t run into any real roadblocks. The only tiny thing: I’d love a few more formatting options for answer scales. But that's me nitpicking because I had a good time and now I want more toys. Switched from [Microsoft Forms](https://www.capterra.com/p/246649/Microsoft-Forms/) We tried MS Forms, but it felt a bit too... functional. SurveyLegend offered more flexibility, better design, and—most importantly—a user experience that actually felt engaging, both for us and our respondents. Can't say it's a shoe-in solution verus google forms, but its definitely a great alternative if for some reason you don't use Google products. Pros Survey legend lets you build surveys really quickly, and handles all the data collection for you. It's very intuitive. Cons I think it's not any more convenient than existing free alternatives like Google forms. Its a bit more user firnedly with metric tracking for survey participants, but that's about it in the time I was using it. Pros At first, I conducted using some other research survey form softwares available in the internet but I was greatly disappointed because the website was only allowed 10 responses per month. When I searched on google which one would aid me with unlimited responses...I found out that Survey legend was just the perfect tool. Above all, it has amazing free features and themes that I didn't find in any other survey platforms. Cons Nothing really. I guess I'm really enjoying every bit of the service. It is easily one of the most user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing survey tools on the market. It excels at customer engagement and simple feedback gathering where visual appeal matters. However, for serious data analysis or complex academic research, you essentially have to upgrade to a paid tier to get any real utility out of the data you collect. Pros What I liked most was the design-focused interface. It makes creating surveys feel more like building a visual presentation than a boring form. The drag-and-drop interface was very easy to use, and having the option to include large and full-quality images for both question and answer choices greatly enhanced interactivity. This looked great on mobile phones with no adjustments needed. Cons What I liked least was that essential features, such as exporting, are highly paywalled. Even though you are allowed an unlimited number of questions in the free version, you tend to run into a wall when you actually need to analyze the results to export them to an Excel/CSV file. Cons Being that I only intended to use the free version the "cons" was mainly that the free version was limited and some of it's best features were paywalled. Pros With SurveyLegend, it's possible to create great surveys with different types of questions. It's the only tool I've tested that allows you to include both rating questions with embedded images and comment fields. It's also great to see the look of your survey on different mobile devices (desktop version, mobile or tablet). Cons So far I have not experienced anything that would make SurveyLegend less helpful to my use. Cons While I appreciate you are a business, it seems unfair that you cannot extract the data you collected from the survey unless paying. If you had to pay for the survey, or limited the number of responses you could receive, this wouldn't be an issue. However, I only realised I wouldn't be able to look at individualised responses until I had already collected the data. Will be using it in the future Pros I have tried lots of platforms for surveys but none of them wore good enough for my study, so I did a google search for the best survey platforms and SurveyLegend was in one of the top spots! It was free so I tried it. BEST. DECISION. EVER. I LOVE how aesthetic it is, the diversity of options for every tip of question, and specialy the way it analysis the results. I can really see myself using this software for future studies! Cons What I found kind of bad about the software was the fact that, in order to see the results from your survey you need to pay. Maybe have another way to get the results without paying or let the costumers know they will have to pay before they apply the survey, because for a student like me its not easy to have extra money for this kinds of stuff. We gathered the information we needed and even got a higher level of response than expected. This may be due to the easy use for the end-users as well.Overall a great product for us, that do sends surveys occacionally. Pros The drag'n'drop functionality of the survey is really smooth, and the results of the survey can be display in multiple ways. These are the to features I like the most. Cons The most cumbersome task is the dependency ruling. I think the flexibility is high, but also means a difficult setup. Would be nice to have a simple/advance logic toggle button. Easily create an effective survey and distribute it quickly. Integrate with social media or contacts list. Data is easy to understand and is organized neatly. The data is easily shared as well. Pros First of all, this product is a great, cheaper alternative to more expensive platforms out there. The drag-and-drop features are great, and the site layout makes it very easy to create and review surveys. The steps to design and publish are very easy as well. Cons For some reason, extra clicks are required to enter text while designing the survey. The free version (of course) lacks many features, but one of them seems to include reviewing any survey responses longer than a sentence or so. Many of the backgrounds and font choices are a bit amateur-ish as well, but it may just be an issue with the free version, again.
