It also solved the age-old problem of “Where do I even start?”—the templates and guidance made setup fast, smooth, and zero-stress. Plus, we got great feedback from users who said it was one of the few surveys they actually enjoyed taking. That’s... not normal. In the best way. Pros Creating the survey was surprisingly fun (yes, fun). The interface was intuitive, the flow made sense, the large range of different interaction types was refreshing. The survey was a success, according to our users, even entertaining. Also: massive kudos for the support. Not a faceless chatbot or auto-generated nonsense, but an actual human being who was responsive, helpful, and—rare in this universe—nice. 10/10, would ask for help again. Cons Hard to say—honestly, we didn’t run into any real roadblocks. The only tiny thing: I’d love a few more formatting options for answer scales. But that's me nitpicking because I had a good time and now I want more toys. Switched from [Microsoft Forms](https://www.capterra.com/p/246649/Microsoft-Forms/) We tried MS Forms, but it felt a bit too... functional. SurveyLegend offered more flexibility, better design, and—most importantly—a user experience that actually felt engaging, both for us and our respondents. Cons Being that I only intended to use the free version the "cons" was mainly that the free version was limited and some of it's best features were paywalled. There is not much else I liked the most about survey legend given its limited graphics. Cons Their graphics for surveys were not helpful and it actually ended up creating more work on my part. It is easily one of the most user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing survey tools on the market. It excels at customer engagement and simple feedback gathering where visual appeal matters. However, for serious data analysis or complex academic research, you essentially have to upgrade to a paid tier to get any real utility out of the data you collect. Pros What I liked most was the design-focused interface. It makes creating surveys feel more like building a visual presentation than a boring form. The drag-and-drop interface was very easy to use, and having the option to include large and full-quality images for both question and answer choices greatly enhanced interactivity. This looked great on mobile phones with no adjustments needed. Cons What I liked least was that essential features, such as exporting, are highly paywalled. Even though you are allowed an unlimited number of questions in the free version, you tend to run into a wall when you actually need to analyze the results to export them to an Excel/CSV file. And having worked with a great many different projects, each with their preferred surveying software, surveys built on Survey Legend have been the most visually captivating and has achieved the highest participation rates in our mass or public polls. Pros My favorite feature of Survey Legend is the ability to share a secure link to the analytics page for direct monitoring of incoming live data by all team members. Previously, we had to keep uploading exported data into DropBox at regular intervals for everyone to have access to the updates. With this feature, no additional work needs to be done to keep everyone updated; and we do this without compromising the security of the system with mass access. Cons The list of third party integration software options is quite thin when compared with other survey platforms within the same range. More services need to be integrated for easier workflow management. This platform has allowed us to engage with our customers on a candid and matter of fact level to receive authentic reporting of our specific performances. Branding is really only obtained by purchasing a premium subscription. Pros Survey legend has great reviews from very large companies and corporations. That's an excellent measure of trust to me, I know that I can count on survey legend. Easily create an effective survey and distribute it quickly. Integrate with social media or contacts list. Data is easy to understand and is organized neatly. The data is easily shared as well. Other formats include polls and questionnaires, or 100% custom. Cons There isn't anything wrong with Survey Legend in my opinion. I think that it serves its role and is a good alternative to services such as SurveyMonkey, which are pricier and just not an option for many individuals. I like the creative control that is given to the users on SurveyLegend, as I am able to change around colors and logos to make the surveys more personalized. I would reccomend to others to check it out if they're looking for something like this! Pros SurveyLegend has been really great for collecting feedback! Where it be for collecting feedback from students, teachers, or colleagues, we have been able to get general ideas of how well our projects have been doing throughout the schools. This allows us to see how other people feel about the things that have been implemented and when we know that something has not been received well, we are able to take the criticism to create improvements. Cons What I like the least about SurveyLegend is that there is a limitation placed with only ten questions that are able to be asked. As a result, we are not able to go past the ten questions limit without having to pay for a subscription. As someone who works in a school and can't get a subscription that's very expensive, I am required to create multiple surveys so that I am under the limitations. This can be very inconvenient at times and I hope that the ten-question limit is increased. The key takeaway is don't expect much for a basic survey builder. It's a handy option for every small business owner out there and gets the job done. Pros This survey builder is pretty easy to follow and get to grips with. It has a basic interface which allows you to chop and build any type of survey and questions for your company data analysis needs. I also like the fact that you can include a range of backgrounds in the surveys. Cons The survey builder has very limited ways to build surveys and it takes awhile to understand the basics. For free users one also has to use a manual process to email surveys. However surveys can be shared via social media which is handy.
