It is easily one of the most user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing survey tools on the market. It excels at customer engagement and simple feedback gathering where visual appeal matters. However, for serious data analysis or complex academic research, you essentially have to upgrade to a paid tier to get any real utility out of the data you collect. Pros What I liked most was the design-focused interface. It makes creating surveys feel more like building a visual presentation than a boring form. The drag-and-drop interface was very easy to use, and having the option to include large and full-quality images for both question and answer choices greatly enhanced interactivity. This looked great on mobile phones with no adjustments needed. Cons What I liked least was that essential features, such as exporting, are highly paywalled. Even though you are allowed an unlimited number of questions in the free version, you tend to run into a wall when you actually need to analyze the results to export them to an Excel/CSV file. While I was only using the free version, I am not even a paying customer Pros There are a lot of different type of survey you can do, like single/multiple selections, ratings, pictures selection... Cons The free version has too much limitation, and then they only offer a monthly subscription package. I did a staff survey and had great feedback from our team, they found it super easy to do. The paid version's price point is also reasonable. Pros I tried the free version and was impressed how easy it is to set up, the range of beautiful templates, lots of survey customisation options, the analysis tools, it looks great on mobile and PC. They also offer survey examples and resources that was super helpful to get us started. Overall a pain free experience. Cons The free version is great to get a survey out, easy to share on our intranet etc, but you have limited access to the data. I could view the data, look at the analysis and do screengrabs on the free version but not export it - you need to have a paid subscription to export. Which is fair for a free version IMHO. It's been relatively quick, easy and satisfying and I'd recommend this as a regular business tool to any of my colleagues (I already have.) Pros \- in my opinion- far excels in one of the most obvious but important ways: it helps the user build a really effective survey, and does so simply. And that's quite something given my experience of other survey builders. The richness of formats on offer presented in a neat drag-and-drop user interface was a joy to use, and within minutes I'd got myself the survey I'd wanted to build all along. Top marks. So - speed, ease of use, richness of content. Cons There's little missing. I just need to subscribe to get to some of the bits I really need. If my company wasn't a start-up I would subscribe to one of the reasonable packages in a hearbeat. One thing; the inability as a free user to see any of the survey answers until I reach a certain number of responses is very frustrating and - given that there are other limitations as a free user.. this could be waived maybe? Great for my summer research internship and I am so happy to have this amazing facility available to help me along the way!!!! Pros I love the general interface of the surveys in the free plan and the ease of use and access in making and filling in the survey. The anonymity option and single participation options super! The logic flows perfect for nested questions. Finally, the data analysis and different graph depictions perfect for the research as essential to display information in easy to read way!! Cons The 1000 answers is a little low for the free plan. Also the having to upgrade to export data is a requirement for any research so even if you could export like 5 question or something per survey. Pros It is very easy to use tocreate surverys or polls. I tried 4 other programs before using survey legend and I will stick to survey legend and recommend survey legend to everyone who needs a tool to create surveys or polls. We often use surveys at the university too. So it's great tool Cons That it is not possible to view data like what users responded in a survey, when they choose the option other and wrote an individual answer, even though your survey fits the criterias for the free plan. Reason for choosing SurveyLegend Because it is userfriendly and has great many options when it comes to creating/building the survey or poll, and designing it in a modern way. Cons is lacks of option for third-party, or outside software integration. We are processing all of our marketing data thru Jira, and if they can integrate their service with Jira, it will definitely improving our workflow as we don't have to export the data manually. We ask for and receive invaluable feedback from our customers on a regular basis. Pros Survey Legend was most impactful to our business through it's basic offerings. This platform has allowed us to engage with our customers on a candid and matter of fact level to receive authentic reporting of our specific performances. Analyzing our feedback was very user friendly. Cons I would liked to see more offerings for customizationil included in their free package.. Branding is really only obtained by purchasing a premium subscription. I needed a tool that would allow me to put together a professional looking survey. I know I could have did something for free through google, but it doesn't look as good. This has a better look and functionality. Pros I enjoyed the fact that the system was easy and quick to use. I was able to put everything together in a couple of hours. Another part I like was how easy it was to share it on my FB page and to just send out a link to those who I wanted to participate in the survey itself. I also like that the free version is a great for someone like myself who just needs to do a quick and time dependent survey. Cons When I separate the pages it wouldn't allow me to move the page break. This meant I had to drag all the questions that I needed for a particular page to that section. I also found it a bit annoying when dragging and dropping a new question type in between to questions that were already written. So be sure to plan all of your questions and their order ahead of time to avoid this annoyance. Reason for choosing SurveyLegend Cost was the main factor.
