Great for one-time donations or recurring donations. Great reporting on the backend. Pros Ease of use is excellent! Customer service is very responsive. The free option is super, and the paid option is still very reasonable with added features. Cons Sometimes the donor had trouble making edits to their account. Support to the donor was by donorbox's email.support. We stepped in to help, mostly because the customer had trouble understanding the steps. It does what you need it to do and more. (I honestly have not gotten in to the extra features, but there is more to explore than what I have mentioned). Pros I am on the board of a non-profit and was the one who set up Donorbox for their site (I also monitor it). The set up was easy and the product has the right amount of customizations. Also, the fees for Donorbox are very competitive to what is in the industry. I would recommend Donorbox especially being a secure solution for donors and the organization's information. Cons Honestly, I am not sure what I would change. If you desired more customization, then you will probably need to hire a programmer, but for those who do not want to bother with coding, this is definetly the product for you. It manages our regular donations as well as special appeals/events very well. Pros So easy to get started and use! We are a tiny nonprofit and we don't have the resources to waste on a complicated system. Donorbox made it easy. Cons The biggest issue we have is if a donor wants to alter their recurring donation, we can't do it for them. They have to log in and do it themselves. Some of our elderly donors don't even have email and can't do that. There’s no cons in my experience. I’ve had nothing but good come out of it and love how easy it is. And free. It's easy for me to go in and change campaigns or text - no special training needed! Pros It is super simple to use. I can go in and make changes easily, and my donors can customize their donations to fund specific programs. Cons Donorbox doesn't have any downsides that I can see. For a small school with a lot of responsibilities, it has been exactly what we needed, reliable, easy to use, and effective in strengthening our donor relationships. Pros Donorbox has been a great fit for Our Lady of Mt Carmel School. The platform is very intuitive and easy to set up, even for those who don’t have a technical background. We especially appreciate how Donorbox CRM integrates seamlessly with donation forms and gives us clear visibility into our donors and supporters. Their email marketing tools have also made it simple to stay connected with families, alumni, and community members, which has boosted engagement. Cons There are some limitations with customization on the front end of the forms and emails and segmenting supporters for more targeted emails. Ease of use, the ability to create donation pages for separate projects and the reporting of gifts are all use friendly. Pros Security, value for money and customer support. The use of codes for pages and buttons are great as is the QR code. Cons Fees can be high and there should be a sliding scale - especially with larger gifts. The communication and notifications have been incorporated into our record keeping, making the tracking of donations and compiling of reports easy to stay on top of. Pros The notifications we receive for individual donations include the email contact information so we can thank the doners quickly and accurately. Cons There is a processing fee. However, it is not realistic to expect this service for free. Other than that, nothing else is a concern of dislike.
