Pros I love the ease of making transactions. The various options available for donating. Our donors love it. Cons The fees are a bit steep for us starting out and it really took me a second to try to figure out the campaign language & how to drop it into our website when we first got it. We have had a hard time with our in-person experience. It is constantly disconnecting from the Stripe reader. There is no customer service line to call and we have had a very hard time trouble shooting with many, many staff hours accumulated. Pros I love the professional design of the buttons and that they have the option to pay the card processing fees at the time of purchase. Cons I don't like that there isn't very good customer service. I also would like an option for donors to pay by ACH. Review Source MM Matt M. Donors find it easy to donate and it is easy to collect Cons Nothing really. But if I have to say something I would say that it charges a small fee. It could use a QR creater. It has helped me tremendously! I have been able to reach my funding goals quicker than I could imagine. Pros One of the great many things that I like about donor box is the secure nature in which people can donate funds and know that they are not being taken advantage of on some unknown platform. Also the ease of usage to make donations for participants. It’s really a great thing as well. Cons The overall usage of donor box makes it really great to use. I have no drawbacks. Cons I would love to see a native integration with aplos to help us more easily import donor information into our primary finacial reporting software. We are a small local non profit. Pros Donor box was easy to use and put into place for our small non profit. We linked it on our website with ease. It caters to your specific needs for your nonprofit's mission and helps you reach your goals. It's awesome!!!! Cons Sometimes it's not very clear to see the auto-response messages or replies. My overall experience has thus far been extremely positive & I would recommend to others. Pros I love the fact that we are able to pay the fee, it was easy to set up, & it was unbelieveably easy to connect to the website. I am using it for a political campaign, but dont find any cons there at all. I am most likely hoping to also use it for our nonprofit. Cons Thus far, I don't see any, aside from the cost being pretty high for the paid versions. The free version is enough for us right now.
