It really is the heart of the organization. Pros I love how user friendly it is for my donors to click and send their contribution with no friction. The donation tracking helps my record keeping and the customer support is really top notch. The forms are customizable too! Cons Nothing really but for a small nonprofit like our organization, it can get pricey. Perhaps a nonprofit discount can help entice other smaller organizations who have volunteer staff and make less that $50K a year. We don't do a lot of outside fundraising. Pros Ease of setup and ability to lookup information quickly. Tracks payments and when there is some type of problem with a payment and sends out notices. Cons Sometimes their new features they introduced were all that clear to me, but like I said I'm not very techy, so maybe this was a personal issue. We had trouble on our previous platform with scams, and then had to take donations over the phone. Donorbox has made it so that we have a way for individuals to donate online, directly on our website, and it's easier than ever (which is ideal when talking about donations). 10/10 would recommend to all nonprofits. Pros It creates a secure platform for donations. The donation form seamlessly integrates into our website. It was easy to set up. Additionally, it has helped us gain a monthly donor, which benefits us and was also easy for the donor to set up. Cons I don't like that there is a processing fee. At the end of the year, I am able to find the numbers I need for taxes easily. Also, when people donate on the website, we don't have to do anything extra to receive the money. I enjoy this system.
