Lead Forensics is a massive upgrade for our marketing and sales alignment. It turns anonymous web traffic into actionable data, letting us clearly see which marketing channels work best and what our prospects actually care about. Even with the occasional wrong company match or missing contact name, the behavioural insights and PPC tracking alone make it a totally solid tool for our team.

Pros

What I love most is how it completely unmasks our website traffic. We use it to see exactly which companies are visiting our site and gauge their intent based on the specific pages and links they click. It's an absolute lifesaver for tracking how they found us. Whether it was organic, a referral link, or a PPC campaign, right down to the exact search phrase they typed in. It makes analysing user behaviour clearer and shows us exactly which of our marketing campaigns are actually pulling their weight.

Cons

It's not totally flawless. Sometimes it gets its wires crossed and displays the wrong company name. Also, while knowing the company, you still can't tell exactly who within that organization was browsing, but thanks to intent, our BD gets to the right person quickly

Pros

The platform is easy to use and the support has been excellent. Information is laid out clearly and is easy to find.

Cons

You can't see the person that was on the site, but I completely understand why this is. It can take a few seconds for the visitor list to load when the date range is adjusted.

### "Long term customer - awful customer service"

We've been a long term customer of Lead Forensics, price hikes each year without improving the software has made it difficult to justify this software over alternative channels which have consistently provided better ROI. The reason for the 1 star, is partially the above, but primarily the awful customer service approach when it came to cancelling the contract. We were 1 day past the 30day auto renewal date, and they have forced us to pay in full for a service we won't be using. Very short sighted business approach, when there are so many alternatives out there. I would highly recommend considering alternatives.

No data on the specific individual visiting.

Our experience with Lead Forensics has been great. It has really helped us to work more effectively across the marketing and sales teams, and informing our campaign plans. Our Customer Success Manager has really taken the time to get to know our business and customer base, offering suggestions on how we can improve our content and user experience.

Pros

Lead Forensics is a user friendly tool that gives valuable insight into who's visiting at your website and what they're looking at. We have a monthly call with our Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], to go through our monthly visits, see who's of interests and where we could improve our website/content. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been great at helping us learn new ways to get the most of the platform and has been a great support in when we're launching new campaigns or setting up new web tools.

Cons

No major cons at all with the platform. We'd like to be able to integrate fully with our CRM system but there are work arounds and the insights from the tool far outweigh this.

Easy to use and navigate with plenty of data to go through, account managers make it easy to simplify data and plan.

Pros

We have been using Lead Forensics for 5 months and have been able to discover new information about our customers, this has led to further outreach to attract customers further up the marketing funnel to make decisions quicker. We have already converted customers we previously would have missed. Their monthly meetings with us help to further develop and get the most out of Lead Forensics with our Account Manager \[sensitive content hidden\] understanding our requirements.

Cons

It is not the cheapest but for our company, a few conversions each year will pay the yearly subscription.

Our experience has been very positive. We have won a lot of new business using the service as the visitors are already warm leads.

Pros

The dashboard can be customised to work for us. Also, the team are very quick to respond to any of our questions, so we feel very well looked after.

Cons

We often joke that people should have an IP address. This is of course not the case and nothing to do with Lead forensics.

Overall, our experience with Lead Forensics has been a positive one. We've never had visitor tracking software before, and having Lead Forensics helps identify opportunities that we would never have known prior. The biggest problem we face is the internal buy in from members of the sales team, but this is no fault of the team at Lead Forensics.

Pros

Lead Forensics is a highly useful tool that helps us identify companies visiting our website. Its user friendly setup allows us to analyse the behaviour of specific businesses and understand which products they are most interested in. This is particularly valuable for us, as we work with a vast range of products. Being able to pinpoint customer interest gives our sales team more targeted insights, while also helping marketing efforts in promoting the most relevant products to our existing customer base.

Cons

A issue with the lead forensics software would be not finding out the specific person within a company who visited the website. We understand that due to regulations that this is not possible in our country, but having this exact information would amplify this software a lot for our business.

Use Lead Forensics frequently, the daily report alerts are amazing in a my busy day, saves me time each day allowing me to see who have visited, source they came from, what they're viewing and how long they stay on the website.

Pros

Easy to use, outstanding Account Management support, regular meetings, ideas as to how to use the data available. Provides good information for marketing team to see who is visiting the site and what pages are visitors reading. Having access to potential contacts by job title within the visiting companies is a powerful tool for marketing. Love the reports that can come direct to my email, I read these every day and know at an instant who is visiting the site.

Cons

Building the reports is good, but finding the tools on the navigation bar can be confusing. On the whole though its straightforward to use. Least like about Lead Forensics - nothing a good tool to use.

Overall, it’s been a great system for capturing data and creating opportunities to engage with prospective clients. When used consistently, it’s a valuable tool for generating conversations and supporting business development.

Pros

Lead Forensics has been a really useful tool for identifying potential clients and starting conversations that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. It’s helped me build relationships with prospects and, ultimately, convert some of those into completed deals. Having visibility on who is visiting the site gives a strong starting point for outreach.

Cons

The main downside is the small delay in data coming through - it can sometimes take over an hour to appear, which reduces the opportunity to act on it in real time. Faster notifications or more immediate alerts would make a big difference. However, it’s still an extremely useful system overall.

For me, it’s important that things stay simple and efficient, and this tool genuinely supports that. It makes everyday tasks easier instead of more complicated, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Positive and it has added value to our business. We are continuing to push and have had some success. We are looking to throwing more time at it going through 2026

Pros

It allows for myself and other members of the organisation to curate leads that are purposeful and targeted. It has allowed us to understand the market better alongside curating better leads for the business.

Cons

Some of the contacts do have a tendency to bounce back or show no contacts at all. I have found a really good business but the lead immediately dies due to email bounce backs or no contacts available at all. I have also had feedback from an international sales rep requesting to see if there were just databases for any companies and using it to scrape completely cold data from other companies.

We’ve had an excellent experience with Lead Forensics. The customer support team, led by Sac, has been extremely competent and professional throughout the process. They’ve gone above and beyond to help us make the most of the web-based platform. One of the standout features is the powerful IP-to-company database, which functions flawlessly and provides valuable insights into our website traffic. The support team also assisted us in setting up our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), allowing us to categorize leads efficiently and gain a clear overview of our website visitors. Lead Forensics offers a broad range of useful tools and reports, such as the sales funnel, which supports our sales and marketing efforts. The setup process was straightforward and completed within a few days—the only delay was on our end, as we needed to coordinate with our webmaster to implement the tracking code across all web pages. Using Lead Forensics has brought several benefits. Most notably, it enables us to identify which companies are visiting our website. To our surprise, a significant number of visitors are exploring our career page, which provides unexpected but valuable insights. The platform also helps us better understand how users interact with our site and highlights which pages and content are most relevant.

Cons

One consideration to keep in mind: The tool and all customer support are currently only available in English. As an SME based in Switzerland, where many employees are not fluent in English, this can present a barrier to broader internal adoption and ease of use across teams.

It takes a minute to tailor it to your needs but once you have it set up, how you like it. It's great!

Pros

Lead Forensics allows us to see opportunities that might be missed. Whether it's seeing lapsed customers stalking our website or web leads that might have been missed from our website to our CRM.

Cons

The reports export too much information, that might not be necessary. It contains meta data that is not necessary would be useful if you could pick and choose what info from your pre-selected filters could be exported.

Pros

I really appreciate how involved our Customer Success Manager is – he makes the processes easy to understand and provide clear guidance throughout. We have regular monthly catch-ups, and there is always a thorough follow-up with a clear and actionable plan.

Cons

I have noticed that on many of the calls, new products are often introduced. While I appreciate staying informed, it would be more helpful for me if we could focus primarily on the products we’re currently using. That way, we can dive deeper into optimizing what we already have in place and ensure we are getting the most value from our existing tool.

Cons

I dont like the fact you have manual move from Lead to Call back. It makes it longer to process your new leads.

What stood out to me most about Lead Forensics was the ability to identify and connect with website visitors we’d otherwise never know about. The insights it provides into visitor behaviour and company data are incredibly valuable for targeting the right prospects and prioritising outreach more effectively.

Cons

While Lead Forensics offers great insights, the main drawback for me was that some of the visitor data could be a bit vague or incomplete, especially for smaller companies or users browsing from home networks. It occasionally made it harder to qualify leads quickly. That said, the overall value still outweighed this limitation.

It had been a rollercoaster, at first not feeling like this was the platform for us was difficult, but Sac our support manager has been working closely with me to ensure we can utilise this platform to our best abilities and now within the last 6+ months we have seen amazing results from our Lead Generation team using Lead Forensics.

It has given us valuable insights into the types of businesses that are interested in our business and services. We currently dominate one industry sector and Lead Forensics has given us the knowledge and insights into how many additional industries are looking at our products. Additionally we have been able to create some marketing contact lists for businesses/industries we don't currently work with for our E-Commerce team to utilise.

Cons

At first we did not think this platform would work for us and our business, due to some unfortunate restrictions but we have worked hard with the support team to adapt in order for it to fit our business.

Very easy to use & extremely reliable. The tools seem to be endless on filtering down your visitor list to really narrow down any specific targets & target locations. Overall, Lead forensics has been a great & essential tool for our business.

Cons

The online portal can sometimes be slightly slow. However, this is only on rare occasions. Most of the time, it's nice and speedy.

Very fast to update so you don't have to wait for visitors and can try to get in touch fast. Ideal for understanding which pages on the website perform best and areas our customers are located.

No major issues, it can have a lot of information to deal with at first but personalising your portal makes it easier to digest

The functionality and ease of use and the general display all of which are user friendly, but like any tool, training and continual use are the key to success.

Nothing really to dislike, it does what it says on the tin...
