Lead Forensics has become a core tool for us, used almost daily by our sales and account management teams.

Pros

It provides clear insights into which companies visit our website, which pages they view (page insights), and where those visitors come from. This allows us to follow up in a much more targeted way and respond to genuine interest. The result is a more effective sales approach and more proactive account management.

Cons

One downside is that the pricing can feel high relative to the measurable return, especially when not all identified leads convert into concrete sales opportunities.

Positive and it has added value to our business. We are continuing to push and have had some success. We are looking to throwing more time at it going through 2026

Pros

It allows for myself and other members of the organisation to curate leads that are purposeful and targeted. It has allowed us to understand the market better alongside curating better leads for the business.

Cons

Some of the contacts do have a tendency to bounce back or show no contacts at all. I have found a really good business but the lead immediately dies due to email bounce backs or no contacts available at all. I have also had feedback from an international sales rep requesting to see if there were just databases for any companies and using it to scrape completely cold data from other companies.

We always have useful monthly meetings where we go through user cases, successes, and next steps. We renewed LF for another year and we look forward to our continued partnership.

Cons

Leadforensic is not able to identify the actual visitor; it can identify the company details, but not the actual person

Pros

Excellent account manager, easy to understand dashboard, plenty of configuration options. As my website isn't optimised currently, we aren't utilising LF to it's potential, but this will come in time.

Cons

Not found anything massive issues - who to contact is always a problem once we have a lead but that's the case with anything.

We’ve had an excellent experience with Lead Forensics. The customer support team, led by Sac, has been extremely competent and professional throughout the process. They’ve gone above and beyond to help us make the most of the web-based platform. One of the standout features is the powerful IP-to-company database, which functions flawlessly and provides valuable insights into our website traffic. The support team also assisted us in setting up our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), allowing us to categorize leads efficiently and gain a clear overview of our website visitors. Lead Forensics offers a broad range of useful tools and reports, such as the sales funnel, which supports our sales and marketing efforts. The setup process was straightforward and completed within a few days—the only delay was on our end, as we needed to coordinate with our webmaster to implement the tracking code across all web pages. Using Lead Forensics has brought several benefits. Most notably, it enables us to identify which companies are visiting our website. To our surprise, a significant number of visitors are exploring our career page, which provides unexpected but valuable insights. The platform also helps us better understand how users interact with our site and highlights which pages and content are most relevant.

Cons

Very helpful tool with some great training provided even though there are some limits to the technology it has been helpful and uncovered some great opportunities

Pros

Helps to uncover new opportunities for businesses that our interested in using our services and has led to some results. Also the training was helpful and I learnt some great tips and was free to ask any questions that were responded well.

Cons

Does not give you the information of the specific person who looked at the website. Also, for some businesses that are part of franchises it is hard to tell which business in which location used it.

I have used Lead Forensics in so many ways to evaluate the progress of our SEO efforts, to my conference attendance and outreach. I feel there is still a lot I can use the tool for, especially now that I am starting to leverage different outreach campaigns to advertise our products etc. I haven't done much outreach on leads generated directly from Lead Forensics yet, but it has helped me to prioritise meetings at partnering conferences. I will be doing more going forward though.

Pros

Lead Forensics is very easy to use, and provides really useful information and metrics to measure your website and outreach performance. Their support agents are really helpful and understanding.

Cons

Sometimes when very large companies and corporates are on our website, it is almost impossible to find the right person or department to reach out to.

Excellent, I have used Lead forensics previously and initially recommended it. I have found it useful and the easer of use on the site is user friendly.

Pros

Very informative, gives you all the details you require in terms of the client to then reach out to. Gives us Sales team another route into finding more leads. The Set up up is straight forward.

Cons

You cant actually see who the person is only the company this would help to narrow down who to contact when the lead comes through.

It is also interesting to see how many people are looking at our website. It would be good if it could like up with other systems, but overall a smooth system

We've been using Lead Forensics for a while and the results have been really good. The platform delivers real-time insights into which companies are visiting our website, even if they don't fill out a form. This has been great for chasing leads in our sales department. We can chase leads straight away to get potential business. The system is easy to use and navigate around.

Cons

It is a shame that we cant tell who actually googled our website but cant really see a way around this unless a form is filled out

Overall the experience with Lead Forensics is a positive one. We realise the Lead Forensics is feature-rich, but we only utilise a small percentage of its capability. The more you use it, the more its of benefit to our business.

Pros

The real-time reporting on visits via the Latest Visits section of the Dashboard helps us procatively react to opportunities immediately as they arise. Being able to click through to view the Visit History helps us understand where the visitor landed on our website and their continued journey through our site. All of this is very valuable intelligence that allows us to completely tailor our approach to that opportunity. Being able to categorise and allocate those leads really helps with tracking and keeping an eye on the progress of the opportunity.

Cons

There's no real cons, however, on occasions the Contacts information is a little out of date. But using the Contacts listed and cross-referencing these with LinkedIn data usually allows us to establish the most likely and the most useful persons to approach at the business.

Cons

I dont like the fact you have manual move from Lead to Call back. It makes it longer to process your new leads.

Pros

Lead Forensic providing you real data on the companies and potential client reviewing our website, which in turn help our marketing strategy, and understand the initial needs of our future client. The ability to host its own CRM system within Lead Forensics, which entail provide accurate reporting and data. The cost is minimal for the information we receive, and each conversion drives the cost lower for value for money. The set up and sales of Lead forensics was vital. This wasn't a hard sell but what it can do for your company, great account management with monthly meetings and useful tools to how we can get the most out of lead forensics, without selling add-ons, its great customer service to keep you as a retained customer.

Cons

Would like maybe the webinars which are generally booked to be able to be a video resource. This would help if unable to access a course for some time or to view at your own leisure.

I have had some success through Lead Forensics over my time with the company and think with certain tweaking it could be a really productive, efficient tool for us to use in our everyday working.

Pros

One of the things i like most about Lead Forensics is the ability to search for additional contacts for organisations, that we may not be able to find using other sources.

Cons

Something I have felt is a negative ( But may be outside of anybody's control to change ) is the ability to see who has been viewing our website within an organisation. We face a lot of obstacles when contacting these companies, trying to reach the person who has visited the site.

i review every web hit at our company and evaluate to see if they are potential customers. i use the Sofware to alert the appropriate account manager of the web hit whether known or unknown to us.

Pros

identifies hits to our website in a way that is useful to account managers. can alert us to customers with issues as well. support people put forth the effort, but the problems seem to be out of their control to fix. i.e. a coding problem

Cons

they do not identify what person to contact at a potential customer autogenerated reports fail repeatedly. apparently root cause has not been discovered, their website help page does not allow the attachment of screen shots to illustrate a problem.

It had been a rollercoaster, at first not feeling like this was the platform for us was difficult, but Sac our support manager has been working closely with me to ensure we can utilise this platform to our best abilities and now within the last 6+ months we have seen amazing results from our Lead Generation team using Lead Forensics.

Pros

It has given us valuable insights into the types of businesses that are interested in our business and services. We currently dominate one industry sector and Lead Forensics has given us the knowledge and insights into how many additional industries are looking at our products. Additionally we have been able to create some marketing contact lists for businesses/industries we don't currently work with for our E-Commerce team to utilise.

Cons

At first we did not think this platform would work for us and our business, due to some unfortunate restrictions but we have worked hard with the support team to adapt in order for it to fit our business.

It takes a minute to tailor it to your needs but once you have it set up, how you like it. It's great!

Pros

Lead Forensics allows us to see opportunities that might be missed. Whether it's seeing lapsed customers stalking our website or web leads that might have been missed from our website to our CRM.

Cons

The reports export too much information, that might not be necessary. It contains meta data that is not necessary would be useful if you could pick and choose what info from your pre-selected filters could be exported.
