Great customer service and the ongoing support in terms of monthly calls has been a huge help. Also enjoyed the sales training that our staff received. It took some time to start seeing opportunities, but in the past few weeks we've had a handful of "lost prospects" return to the sight. With that visit information from Lead Forensics, we've reached out to these former prospects and they're now back in the sales funnel.

Pros

I love the fact that we can see who's visiting our website, assign those visitors to users, and track how often they come back.

Cons

I wish they were able to identify a higher percentage of total visitors. Was not aware of the fact that it's less than 30%.

This is a great product when coupled with a strong marketing plan designed to drive website traffic. It provided a steady stream of solid leads and the means to catalog and track them.

Pros

This program provided plenty of qualified leads for me to follow up on, leading to an increased customer base across multiple industries. Being able to gather actual contact info for the companies visiting our site was super helpful.

Cons

Some of the reports were difficult to set up without help from our Lead Forensics customer support guy.

Pros

It's a tremendous way to gather information about the prospects you didn't know were interested in working with you, while also helping to prioritize key targets.

Cons

The biggest challenge comes from using IP address as an identifier, so this 'bug' is a side effect of the features. If someone is working remotely from Starbucks, then "Starbucks" will look like a lead. There's some manual data removal as a result.

First class customer experience that has closed the gap between marketing and sales, generated genuine opportunities for our clients and giving us valuable insights into how the audience navigate and consume information on the website.

Pros

The support we got as we onboarded and then beyond exceeded my expectations. As a marketing agency we include the clients in our calls with Lead Forensics and our account manager ‘Henry’ tailored the approach to suit us both. Which meant we got to know the platform at a pace that worked for all and it became an integral part of our sales process from day one. Henry also shared tips to help maximise our marketing efforts with Lead Forensics and together we established a system to connect marketing, lead generation through to closing sales. There is plenty of customisation which means you can filter out exactly the right companies you want to reach. And the seamless integration to LinkedIn allows you naturally engage with your target audience.

Cons

It would be great if we could customise the pipeline further. But we found a workaround with categories.

The software is great and the support from the guys at Lead Forensics is excellent, with monthly calls and account reviews to make sure we are getting the most out of the system and where we could improve if needed with our filters/trigger reports. It's been really handy for us to see customers visiting the site - often in real-time as we're on the phone to them at the same time!

Pros

Fantastic customer support and comprehensive options in the software for sensible lead tracking.

Cons

It's been very useful so far, especially for our sales team, but I need to spend more time on it myself to improve how I use it for marketing. All good so far though!

I think it has been a very positive experience. Lead Forensics can do a lot, but it is important to ensure that it is working in the capacity that you need it to, and that it is working as effective as it can be for the needs of the company/individual. There is fine tuning involved. It evolved with the company, and each user, depending on need. It has a lot of capabilities and it is easy to use, overall. The support is great!

Pros

It was a friendly team, eager to get a full picture of business so that they could personalize the tool for us. There was instant communication and the team is highly approachable.

Cons

It took more than one show & tell to grasp fully how to utilize it. Perhaps for a sales teams, it is important to clearly explain what type of leads are generated and how to utilize the various features. It's not that it wasn't explained on the first round, but it may take more than one session for a sales team to grasp how to use this tool effectively, especially if they used to doing things one way.

I have had a fantastic first few months with Lead Forensics. The process to sell me the system was informative and encouraging but not too pushy. The ongoing support from the team has been faultless, they have provided a high level of dedicated support for each member of my team which has helped support embedment.

Pros

Brilliantly intuitive system with a easy to use back end system Self-service but strong support system within the Lead Forensic Team throughout set up and BAU usage. Interesting data for both marketing and sales functions within the business Encouraging and not too push during the sales process Support area with additional resources to help the team during the programme embedment

Cons

Not knowing the exact person makes the process a little time consuming to source contacts. More direct dial information for contacts would make it better

### "Extremely disappointing and would advise to use another provider"

We paid the following costs to LF:Set up cost: £150 + vatMonthly cost: £275 + vat for tracking codes on FOUR websites. Please note, this was not just ONE website and any current customers may wish to rethink your renewal costs as it’s clearly different for all businesses depending on your financial accounts.When we highlighted that the LF service was no longer providing a full service that we agreed to, we were delighted that LF acknowledged this and offered us a discount to remain as a customer.Like everyone through COVID, we all tried to support other businesses as we felt if we could still obtain a lower ratio of leads for businesses browsing our websites, and LF could help us with a reduction in cost until things returned to normal, it would be great for both businesses.LF confirmed this was the case and reduced our monthly payment to £209 + vat for all FOUR websites.Unfortunately as more businesses had staff working from home, the data and product that LF provided us was no longer fit for purpose.

Pros

The initial sales team were great and the trial gives you a good insight as to what you can experience if you have a good knowledge of IT. If you do not, you're buying a product that does not track staff or business owners working from home.

Cons

Different pricing per business (suspect this depends on your financial accounts)To confirm, I NEVER leave any negative feedback online about a business that I’ve had a bad experience with as I understand how difficult it is for businesses and there is always a resolution. I am very disappointed in Lead Forensics and happy to share my feedback as the treatment from LF after being a loyal customer since \[sensitive content hidden\] was very poor. In summary, I had to pay £2508 for a product that no longer provided accurate tracking data because more people work from home and this data could not be tracked to show what business they were coming from when working from home.I can confirm there is no loyalty whatsoever from LF having being a customer since Jan 2020, they would not terminate our contract.I must add that this was an automatic rolling contract that LF did not make me aware of or contact me to confirm was being renewed. I highlighted my concerns as we’re a Web and IT company who recommend such products to our customers and our in house developers highlighted that LF can no longer obtain the data that we were originally sold when signing up.

Overall, we've had mixed feelings about Lead Forensics and its capabilities. While some of our sales team find it helpful, not every team member uses the platform on a regular basis. This is a bit problematic since the software is quite expensive. While the information provided and the leads shown are helpful, they lack the detail our team needs to execute sales calls meaningfully.

Pros

I really like how easy Lead Forensics is to use. The dashboard is very easy to use and the whole software layout is simple and intuitively designed. The dashboard can be customized to show the things you find helpful such as recent site visits, most popular pages, and the most active companies.

Cons

My biggest gripe with the software is less a critique of this particular platform, but of the software category as a whole. My biggest complaint with the software is how vague and unspecific it can be with the quality of leads it displays much of the time. Most of the leads shown will show the company name, the general location (usually the headquarters address for the company), and some background info about pages visited and time spent on the site. Unfortunately, this info is not always enough to tell us exactly who is looking at what. A lead is nice, but it's very difficult to narrow down who was looking with most large companies, especially when they are large, multinational companies with dozens of locations and tens of thousands of employees.
