Pros

Pros

I like that someone always gets back to me in a timely manner. I like that everyone I have dealt with has always been so helpful and so nice.

Cons

There is nothing that I can say I like least about Prime Pay.

Overall PrimePay has been easy to use with minimal issues. Most issues have been since 2022 and forward. The issues we had has been taken care of and fixed.

Pros

PrimePay is very easy to navigate and process payrolls.

Cons

We had issues with the Cloud for Support for months but now it is up and running for me. When updates are done, sometimes things change in PrimePay without being known or told and can cause some stress but it is usually fixed in the near future.

Overall experience is fine. Personnel representative staff needs to be better next time. Your organization can be consider one of the top leaders in your field yet the customer service still needs improvement. It's like you guys offer Verizon service but having AT and T customer response in the cell phone industry.

Pros

The system is straightforward and easy to navigate.

Cons

Your Representative Customer Service lack of knowledge of your own system. Either the representative was withholding the information or did not relay the necessary additional information that could have been helpful. HR department needs to train your representative personnel better.

Can be restrictive in some ways, (aforementioned security/access permissions). Issues also with seeing data across all of our FEINs at the same time

PrimePay has been very helpful with implementing the software throughout our company and has been willing to meet through calls for training and understanding. The support team has been great through the transition of leaving implementation.

Pros

PrimePay has a great grasp on important payroll functions like taxes and seamless processing of direct deposits and third party payments. There is an opportunity to create an integration to NetSuite which appealed to us.

Cons

There are slow loading times for reporting and payroll calculation, the help articles seem a little outdated. I think some of the implementation objects might have been done out of order leading us to reorganize a few things.

Reps are very helpful once you are able to get them on the phone.

Pros

Submitting employee payroll is an easy process online.

Cons

No app for doing payroll. Long hold times. Very difficult having to wait 45min to over an hour to speak with someone.

Neutral experience with the implementation of the new HR platform. It was way more work than we were led to believe. Only about 5% of employee files from HR3 were transferred to PrimePay HR, when I was told multiple times that everything was complete. Never received links to recorded training sessions after they were complete. Very minimal training. No idea how to run a decent report. Not sure who are support staff is after implementation. Support tickets are still not getting answered.

Pros

The payroll module is very user friendly. No issues. The time clock module is very user friendly. No issues.

Cons

The new HR module is not user friendly. It is more for very large companies. We only have 55 employees and there are just too many features that we will never need or use. The actions section could have different verbiage as it's not very easy to figure how to complete basic updates if someone has a change. There are too many 'profiles' that just don't help at all and then make it hard to change a date or anything if there is a mistake. Reporting is terrible. The 'positions' feature is just a nightmare, I just want to be able to put in a basic position for my staff, we don't have that many and have to create a whole new position when we have a new hire. HR3 was much more user friendly.

Reason for choosing PrimePay

No choice, needed an HR platform and we had to go with this.

Pros

Our customer service rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], is the main reason that we have continued with PrimePay over the many years we have been with them. She is professional, accurate, a great resource for answering questions or solving problems, and always goes the extra mile for her customers. As PrimePay has grown, there have been many changes, and unfortunately, some major bumps in the road, but having \[sensitive content hidden\] as our rep has helped keep these challenges manageable.

Cons

As PrimePay has grown, it has lost some of their flexibility, and that personal touch that smaller and medium-sized companies value. We have started to feel more like a number and less important because we are a smaller customer. There seems to be a push towards self-service, which does have some benefits, but in my opinion, also comes with more negatives. We originally chose PrimePay because of the more personalized, one-on-one service that we received from our our sales rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], and our CSR, \[sensitive content hidden\], and others in the company, but that seems to be changing.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with Primepay. Especially with \[sensitive content hidden\] !

Pros

I have to say that \[sensitive content hidden\] has made my life ALOT easier since I started with my new company January 1st this year. I needed help with online processing and she was my "go-to girl" until I was able to get through it on my own. I can't say enough about her. She is the epitome of what a client service rep is all about.

Cons

Unfortunately, FEDEX is the problem. Nothing directly to do with PrimePay but they are supposed to get my payroll there by 8am- it's what we pay for, yet there are times their website says no one was there and delivery will be the next day or by end of day. We are open from 430am and someone is always THERE.

I would not recommend Prime Pay. The customer service is lacking and we had to move to another payroll company to fix the issues Prime Pay has caused.

Pros

The software is easy to use and made biweekly payroll is for entry.

Cons

Customer service. They missed or had issues with two tax payments in the first 12 months. I would reach out to customer service once a month and be told no one has worked on my case.

We had higher expectations when implementing PrimePay. I am hoping with time we can get it to where we need it, but so far it has not met our expectations.

Pros

I like the position management feature and they sold us on state of the art dashboards; however, once live we realized you can't actually get any data behind the dashboards.

Cons

Lack of integration between HRIS and T&L/payroll. Lack of functionality on payroll. Lack of reporting capabilities.

Experience is good. Like I said, the team has been very responsive and the product it self is working properly.

Pros

Everyone that I have worked with in PrimePay has been extremely responsive and helpful when issues arise.

Cons

The implementation and set up for personal, cobra, and benefit management portals was very confusing. I also had a lot of trouble getting into my account having to reach out to customer service multiple times. Clearer instructions on credentials and what each portal is for would be helpful. Initial training and instruction from the team on how they work would also be helpful to a completely new user.

Pros

The customer service has been excellent. All of the employees have been very friendly and are super responsive. If I find something that I want corrected, they typically fix it within a day or they have let me know that they are working on finding an answer. We have been able to set up the system in the way that works best for our company and PrimePay has worked to make their system very user friendly.

Cons

I feel we should have had more time for implementation. Both of our first payrolls took a lot of time to complete. I think it would have gone smoother if we had additional time to set up the features in the system to work best for us. Some of the live training sessions were not very productive either. I really liked \[sensitive content hidden\], who did most of our live training. She tailored the training to us and seemed to know more about the system. She also was prepared with which systems we were set up for and it seemed she had talked with our implementation team before our training. That helped her to better answer our questions that we had. I did not get as much out of the other live training sessions.
