It’s been positive, or we wouldn’t still be there. It’s also very affordable. Weather your business is new or you’ve been in business for a long time, this will increase your productivity and profitability.

Pros

We have been using Thryv for about 6 years. The CRM program is outstanding. Being able to send customers quotes and invoices are easy. The system send reminders of appointments and customers can confirm instantly. It also records payments so you know which customers paid and who still has a balance.

Cons

It would be great to be able to look up customers by address. It would also help to organize them by zip code.

I would describe my overall experience as mediocre. The software works and is reliable, but leave a lot to be desired

Pros

My favorite part of Thryv was the single inbox for all of our channels. I also enjoyed they would auto post social items for us.

Cons

The software did not meet our needs for customer experience. We needed customers to have the ability to pick and choose items from a quote on their own without having to correspond or ask the sales person for help.

For our small language school, Thryv does most of what we need. It's not perfect but it beats keeping everything in spreadsheets like before. The price feels a bit high for just 8 employees, but the time it saves me from administrative tasks lets me focus more on teaching.

Pros

The appointment calendar really saves me time - students can book their own lessons and I get notifications. Setting up recurring lessons for my regular students takes just few clicks. The invoice templates work well for our monthly tuition fees, and I like that parents can pay online. Also appreciate the automatic reminder texts before classes start.

Cons

Sometimes the system gets slow when I'm trying to update multiple student profiles at once. The mobile app crashes on my older Android phone. Would be nice if there was a way to track student homework submissions directly in the platform.

Great service from my team and the product suite is great. Sending email campaign and building them look amazing. Email function is good and invoice sending is simple. It does streamline the process of running a business and bringing back existing customers

Cons

Would really be great to have a better way to mark messages as unread. Currently it is a pain to have to go back to the inbox, find the message, and then go to mark as unread.

This program is very easy to use. I have had to contact customer service a few times when I have had questions or needed help and they were very professional and responsive. I really enjoy using the program to post and manage my social media posts. The onboarding training was very thorough and gave me the information needed to manage my company account.

Overall, I've enjoyed Thryv. It's a bit more expensive than I ultimately can afford right now (being as my business is relatively new and still trying to grow). But, I'm going to stick with it and put in the work to make it a success. Thryv will be of great benefit especially when the ball gets to rolling really well.

Pros

I love that I can get a quick response from Customer Service, and they are always so eager to help. I really love the follow-up meetings with coaches. I really hope these coaching sessions will help my business grow. The social media posting tools are great! The calendar and booking features are great! I would love it if I could give my clients the option to choose from meeting locations, but I'm not seeing that option anywhere. I may check with a coach at some point. Not a big deal though.

Cons

Whew. I've been around and around regarding the auto-billing / auto-invoicing. I have clients that want an invoice each month to pay for the services I provide them. I'm still manually having to create and send these invoices each month. I would LOVE to see this work better and be a little more user friendly.

### "An easer scheduling manager"

I have realized great benefit by using Thryv. The online scheduling for the client and myself is a vast improvement on what I had in the past. I would definitely recommend this software for others who are looking for an appointment management system.

Pros

At first I was skeptical that Thryv could be the one scheduling management that would help me keep track of my appointments. When I really got down to using it, I was upset with myself that I had not started using this earlier. I now find it to be an essential part of my business. I am an older guy and I have had trouble comprehending other past appointment management systems. With Thryv, the ease of use for the client to schedule appointments and myself for approving and manually scheduling has been wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Thryv.

Cons

A feature I feel that is missing is the ability for the client to pay me on the spot.

### "Poor Customer Support, still withdraw full price from your account even though they said not"

I had to reach out to their \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] about 1+ years ago in order to get my website fix because they keep on pushing from one team to another. I have been frustrated with their unprofessional customer services since 2017 and I'm about to send another email to the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] about this ridiculous charge of $199. This is a scam and rip-off from their customers who decided to leave.

Pros

If you have a full-time staff to use this software to run your business then it should be okay.

Cons

1\. You need to constantly check your website because you know when they mess it up to become a blank page. You will not get an easy resolution from their CSR without a request to speak with the manager. 2. If you terminate the agreement earlier then they hold you accountable to pay them until the term expired. On the other hand, when the term is expired and they continue to charge you month-to-monthly without giving you the courtesy email to let you know about the term being the change. 3. I was 3 or 4 days into the new month and request to terminate because my contract has been expired for I don't even know how long. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] promised me that she will wave the 1-time pro-rate fee that give me the weekend to retrieve all the emails that I need and forward it to my Google account. That was a lied and on Monday I got charge for the full-price $199. I have appeal with my bank and call Thryv, they have the nerve to tell me that they are not going to refund the charge. If you are looking then stay away from Thryv.

Reason for choosing Thryv

Their sales rep got my information as soon as I registered with the State of Florida. Her demo seems to meet all my needs with the price of $199 and she promises that I just call the customer service number to make any update to my WebSite and it will get happen right away. She never mentions there was a waiting period of 10 - 15 days (I am not 100% sure from my memory but it's not instance). After I signed the agreement then I can't cancel but stuck and frustrated.

They provided everything including updating my website. Great customer services and responsibility to meet my needs. They understood that I'm extremely busy with my work schedule 7 days a week, and they accommodated my needs. They are willing to schedule a time to work with me to make sure the website meet my need and I can chat with their customer service to get the issue resolved. If I decide to add additional features and they will have a sales rep call me on my convenience, do the DEMO and explain the price until I'm clear of what I get, what option do I have to cancel if I am not satisfied with the new function?

### "Great for simple CRM needs"

Thryv collects client's contact info, and with their webhooks, I can easily import them where I need them.

Pros

I really like how we can capture potential clients info into the system and then start marketing to them.

Cons

If you have a current client, say a parent, and that parent has more than one child that needs to be in the system, you can't automatically have the 2nd child and no entered into the system. Also, if you are having them register their children for services, it is VERY VERY confusing because the system is not set up well for multiple "Sub" Clients.

After the in-store visit or online booking, Thryv assisted us in streamlining how we engage with customers. The automated reminders and review prompts brought in more feedback, which we’ve leveraged to refine our marketing. It has also helped prevent customer inquiries from falling through the cracks in busy seasons.

Pros

It combines messaging, scheduling, and reputation management on one platform. I’ve used it to manage customer bookings for private styling appointments, gather reviews and follow up with shoppers all from the dashboard. It saves time and standardizes the tone across our brand.

Cons

The UI isn’t as smooth as seen on some newer platforms, and some features (email campaign tools, for example) feel somewhat basic compared with dedicated services. I did find it somewhat difficult to customize for a fashion brand at first it did require some tweaking to align with our branding.

Cons

Too high of pricing. It's not really worth it for me as a small business owner. I didn't like the no free trial, that I needed to book a demo with a person, who was pushy.

Generally speaking, this product will do what a small business needs it to do. It keeps track of your accounts, allows you to send estimates and invoices, keeps track of what is outstanding (clunky), and helps with marketing campaigns. Even though some areas still need work, the software team is consistently making improvements and updates.

Pros

This product was very easy to learn and implement. The customer service people are pleasant.

Cons

I am not happy with the search function in the Billing & Invoicing section. It would be really nice to be able to search by company name or child account name in this area. While this is a great CRM system, this is definitely not an accounting software. Some areas refer to open invoices as payments which is not just inaccurate, but the opposite of what they are. I find the reporting to be clunky and cumbersome as well.

They do all the work, they taught me how to use the product, they still check on me randomly and are ALWAYS so nice, upbeat and happy to help - the full Disney Experience!! You HAVE to check out their CONNECT conference, when they bring in major business speakers from across the globe to give you their hints, tricks, tips and business success secrets. Worth joining just to attend!

Pros

First, this is worth every penny!! Great client appointment reminders, you set the schedule you want and the client can set their own appointments or call to make the appointment. Tags help make client categories easy for things like client appreciation days, teacher or nurses day, birthday cards can be sent, the list is endless!!! You can mass email, AND they offer HIPAA compliance!! If you do the website, it all works together and melds with your social media, facebook, twitter, basically all 70 search engines are tagged. You can get auto posting or make your own or personalize what they have.

Cons

In the beginning, multiple people (family members) could not use the same phone & email, but they do offer a tagging system for sharing an email & phone, so your message will get to the shared email & phone.

Reason for choosing Thryv

Thryv won me on the full service, one stop operation and price! They came out to me for installation/set up, no set up over the phone (well some, but minimal for tweaking small changes). They checked on me at least seven times to get me up and fully able to operate the program in the first couple of weeks. They call me when they have new features & services, included services to make my pages better, like notify my clients about holidays, special events, etc. Finally, I know my Thryv reps by name, so thanks \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\].

### "Very poor customer service"

Initial contact was great. By the time I was paid up and committed, communication went downhill extremely quick. I made contact with management and project managers, appointments were set up, a day or two prior to the appointment I would receive an email that they apologized for scheduling conflicts and that they would reschedule within 48 hours. I emailed and tried to reschedule and no response. My recommendation is to explore other companies as I have now and am very happy with results and spending much less.

Pros

Did not have a chance that get to it. Management continuously cancelled appointments and did not call back to reschedule. After numerous attempts to reschedule by myself, I gave up.

Cons

Never had a chance to use it. Poor management and training.a

Sold on false promises. Bad decision on my part. If you are a small business with less than 5 employees like me, there are much better options out there rather that Thryv and costs are only $50.00 monthly rather that $350.00. Better results

### "Great Company to Manage Your Website/Marketing"

Everyone at Thryv is awesome! From the quick email responses for changes to our website or other questions, to the detailed instructions we got during our in-person meeting w/ one of your reps, we have nothing but great things to say!

Pros

Easy to do website edits and communicate with patients. The people who work at Thryv are very nice and helpful if you need anything.

Cons

Scheduling feature (not interested in recommending changes as we prefer to do the scheduling ourselves) and trying to sign our patients up for promotions and marketing just by sending us a message.

Pros

Over all the ease of use and to navigate for us and for the customers is hands down the simplest on the market as far as we're concerned.

Cons

Wish that Thryv could have a products/service tab to input all items that our company uses. Right now we use QuickBooks online for invoicing and quotes. We would love to switch fully to Thryv but at this time we are not able to. For the lack of that part of the software.

Pros

The software onboarding was extremely easy, Great social media management, You can change anything you need to from your dashboard.

Nothing yet so far everything has been great

From the onboaring call support that we had to set up thryv was fantastic, and the foolow up support which we still receive is wonderful.

Pros

Thryv is so easy to use and the amount of things you can get it to do for you is incredible.

Cons

cant fault Thryv, any issue we may have had were rectified buy the support staff.

Pros

I love being able to have the information I need regarding scheduling in once place. All of my correspondence with customers is in one place from the initial appointment, to estimates, and job approvals.

Cons

I run multiple crews and the the way the schedule works doesnt allow me to group on crews daily appts so I have to color code but it doesnt flow as I need it to and can be hard to read and ease to confuse tasks if you dont really pay attention. It is hurt us a few times but I am hoping it will soon be a non-issue. Example: If I have four jobs to divide between two crews, depending on when the work comes in and appointments determines on where on the daily calander the appt is placed and it would be really nice to be able to reorder appoints to when i have multiple appointments for different crews that are scheduled for the same time I can flip flop the placement so one crews appoints are together in the order they should be run instead of mixed and set due to how the calendar enterers information.
