I have had a terrific experience with Thryv! We will have a long and happy journey with one another, as their abilities grow and expand and as my Business grows and deepens. Very smart Humans! I was considering another product, which I found, did not have the heart nor the care for the Client, that Thryv has!

Pros

You, each and All, are number ONE at patience, educating and hand-holding! I need it and many in my Profession have worked so hard to hone their skills - administration and computer were not in the mix. "other people did that" (thank goodness!). Now, it is up to us, as a Sole Practitioner, to do our own marketing, tracking, projections, follow-up, reminders, billing/coding and receivables! Whew! Thryv has freed me up to learn how to do these items, through technology. I'm thrilled to be learning! You have helped me to 'lay my panic down and to pick up the shield of technology'. Thank you! Be well!

Cons

It would be helpful, potential Users, to know yourself well before you try to have someone else create who you are and what you do, in the form of your Website. I woke up during my first meeting with a Web Designer and realized this person was not able to represent me and was not able to correctly create my brand - they didn't have experience with my Profession to understand, to bring concepts forward, etc. Just letting you know that there are enough Designers, on Staff, that your needs (whatever they may be) can be met. You have to know what your needs are (or it would help if you do).

### "Level Up with Thryv! "

Pros

What took us almost a year when we first started (website and online presence) was vastly improved in part -time attention in weeks vs months. We went from a static outdated website to a SEO optimized beautiful website that increased our views by at least 28% as soon as website was published and had maintained an increased presence with automated postings etc. This software, human support and process makes a busy owner much more efficient and a business more "seen". We no longer have to wear ALL the hats in our business all the time. Automation, added efficiencies have bought us more views, more customers with less time devoted to posts, marketing and has improved customer interaction and communication.

Cons

There are some staff related features that I wish it had ...such as the ability to view and track each staffs continuing education endeavors. I have made 3 or 4 suggestions as they are encouraged. Love that.

Great overall experience. Customer service is very good with helping understand the program. I really like the full capability of it and i am excited to continue to learn more. Its also good to see Thryv continuously updating and changing things for the better.

Pros

The software has been great for my business. It has really been helpful to bring the full customer service management all into one. I love the scheduling part and being able to automatically send reminders about the appointments and thanking them afterwards. There are a lot of great tools that can be set up and automatically go out. Email campaigns are another good one.

Cons

There are a few minor components with invoicing and having one customer wit multiple addresses and all. Seems like Thryv is listening and trying to correct things as they come about.

Thryv has made our social media marketing much easier. I wish we would have come aboard sooner.

Pros

It was very easy to set up and integrate with our business. The customer service is outstanding. Every person I dealt with at Thryv was fantastic.

Cons

The only improvement I would ask for is a free e-mail scrubber. This is supposed to be coming in the near future.

The ease of use. This is a plug and play model. It not only makes it easy for the purchaser to use this software and more importantly, our potential clients.

I haven't found anything as of yet that stands out that has any real negative consequence for what I use it for.

My experience with Thryv has been wonderful. The staff is not only friendly, but very knowledgeable of E-Commerce and how to succeed in my business. After spending a large amount of my budget with two other services, Thryv is the only platform that made me feel that I have a team behind me and my Business.

Pros

Not only is Thryv the easiest to use (once the software in understood) but all of the staff from the Web Design Team to the Client Marketing is excellent. They helped me improve my business with their help. Highly recommended

Cons

If the integration between Shopify and the Thryv Software could be a little bit more seamless. i.e. Adding certain widgets to page for navigation/onsite search and adding graphics not related to products. Also, when onboarding new clients, explanation of SEO as well as basic instructions would help businesses that use E-Commerce as their main source of business. This is something I was not aware of until just recently and this information would have helped my business exponentially in the last year.

Wow! I'm still awe struck after almost one year. Everyone who has helped me, has been knowledgeable and kind. What an incredible team at Thryv! My business has certainly grown and people are starting to take notice. I am able to focus more on helping my clients with their learning needs and less time worry about the operation side of the business.

Pros

The software has made keeping up with my clients and the business operations much easier. I no longer spend time calling clients to see if they are coming to a session, clients are in charge of scheduling or cancelling sessions. The same thing goes with billing, the automatic reminder is a great feature.

Cons

So far the software has all the features I need for my small business.

Business automation has gotten a lot easier, as well as communication with customers

Pros

simplicity of the software makes it easy for new employees to learn.

Cons

many hiccups, or features not working properly, many error messages and when screenshot are sent to the Thryv support they then request video recordings, because they can't figure out how to fix it. also it would be nice to be able to move line items up and down on estimates and invoices. Thryv support is not very organized and too many people reach out to attempt to fix things and not having nay information available to them, so things have to be repeated multiple times. Can get very frustrating. An additional feature for project management would also be very helpful for construction. Being able to track P&L would be nice.

I would do it again without hesitation. My business went from the dinosaur age to now with this one change. Like when the wizard of oz goes from black and white to full color. I am embarrassed about my old site! Lol

Pros

You don’t have to add website management and it would be a no brainer without it but it is no more expensive to add website management than have someone else do it. I love having everything in one spot and my rep, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is so on top of everything it’s like I hired an office manager for the money I pay! So worth it!

Cons

There is a learning curve but what doesn’t?

A very expensive nightmare. The yellow pages are flailing to stay alive but my preying on small business

Pros

I tried the software because the concept sounded really good as a replacement for my CRM and for doing in-house social media marketing and reputation management. It was sold to me as though there was no contract and that I would be able to keep my website

Cons

They cornered me into a contract and then although they let me keep my URL they took my website down and now I have to build a brand new one. They use your website as leverage to keep you in the contract. The marketing aspect of it is completely ineffective and even as a CRM I didn’t do very well. I felt like I was being lied to for more than a year. I still had to continue paying $300 a month even after I stopped using the software and expressed the dissatisfaction. Then once the contract is up they wouldn’t give me my website back. So $4000 and a year later I have no website and nothing to show for my time with Thryv. Then after they took my website down they had one of the representatives call me just to twist the knife and let me know that I could have my website back if I were to just sign another contract for $300 a month

Thryv is a great “one stop” for what our company needs.

Pros

I love the scheduling, messaging and billing features Of this software. It’s easy to learn and use. I like that all employees can see the chat feature and be on the same page as the client.

Cons

Clients being able to save their own credit card would be helpful. It would also be nice to be able to select a few clients and just message those clients.

### "Integration and Connection, Management Issues"

Poor. Fictitious customers created, duplicates, anything with a street address of "PO Box" in QuickBooks get deleted randomly, characters added to the end of emails, city location deleted, "null" replacing phone numbers. With the QuickBooks App connected, I need to, on a daily basis, check to see what kind of damage Thryv has done to my QuickBooks customer list data. No integration for ledger accounts - Thryv simply posts the revenue into a generic "Sales" account which I don't use. I then need to go in an manually recreate the invoice in QuickBooks to get the revenue into the correct account. I am going to disconnect the App and do it manually. I would suggest Thryv cut off the QuickBooks App until they can fix it.

Pros

Website and social management. The URL and Website team is excellent. Many of the integration experts are good as well. But the software, as a CRM tool, needs work.

Cons

Integration, building customer list, set up, difficulty creating my customer details in Thryv

Cons

The mobile app doesn't go back to home that easy, you have to either close app or hit back a bunch of times. It needs a home button on every page to get you back to main page.

Pros

The ease of use and ease of customer support when needed. The ability to respond to reviews easily and speak with patients through HIPAA compliant email.

Cons

Most of our leads are not leads. When leads are called most of them say they have no idea who we are and they never reached out to us. Seems like a waste of valuable time chasing down possible leads that are sent to us. I would say about 80 to 85% of the leads are not.

I love Thryv, because it has so many tool to operate my business that I need, and I usually don't even utilize it as much as I should.

Pros

I recommend Thryv because they have field agents in addition to many great customer support avenues. I get the most help by asking my locally based Thryv agent for assistance with the many features that Thryv has. It is very easy to underestimate how much you can do with this software, and the best part is they are growing and keep adding new features I want!

Cons

We need the ability to click an arrow to the next client when looking at a client instead of having to go back to the list every time.

I first heard about Thryv from a friend of the field agent then had coffee with the field agent and it was so great that I didn't look at any other software.

### "Thryv is my CRM and VA all-in-one"

Pros

Thryv is easy to use, well organized and equally functional on mobile app and desktop. It's very flexible to set up for calendar booking and groups events. I'm not even using all of it's features and I still find it's worth the money. And it brands me from start to finish!

Cons

The CRM has limited search capability. I would also like it to allow more automated campaigns to my contacts and prospects.

As a relatively new user of the program, I'm excited to grow with Thryv in promoting our Business on Social Media Platforms.

Pros

The product is an 'all rounder' - great for a new business set up. As an established business, utlising the monthly advertising icon for our social media platforms has been an added advantage to our business. The implementation was provided step by step, comfortable to undertake this step on my own.

Cons

Integration with our business was smooth, the assistance of a Thryv Team Member made it very easy to follow in detail. Technology isn't my strongest point, however, I was guided through the process making it very enjoyable to 'learn' this new way of working on my business.

I get frustrated sometimes because it doesn't work as I think it should, but then the tech support is able to walk me through the task.

Pros

the appointment confirmations and automated campaigns are what I find most beneficial.

Cons

Can't believe that you cancelled the "work as" function. We are in two time zones and trying to schedule an appointment in the other time zone is painful. Only admins can login as other staff members so an ordinary function that anyone could do now falls on my plate. No sooner than I set the appointment, log out and back in as myself here comes another call and I get to do it all over again. After I have done this several times the system makes me go through the authentication process with a six digit code.

I wanted to love thryv so much because it does offer a lot! The marketing was amazing. But at the end of the day, thryv was priced too high and did not offer the things necessary to run my business.

Pros

I liked the layout, ease of use as far as scheduling clients and the online booking options. The staff permissions and customization of those permissions, were useful.

Cons

Could not add tips to a service. Could not schedule multiple services for a single client at one time. Client could only schedule one service. Could not add services to checkout which made keeping track of services received was impossible. Did not offer the options needed to run daily reports.
