Pros

It's pediatric-oriented and user-friendly. Their developers listen to users' ideas. It can be modified for each practice/user, and it continues to update as needed.

Cons

Support is not always as available as we'd like; it has taken too long to get response to emails with questions.

Pros

I do like how it is a little easier to chart when giving vaccines.

Cons

It seems like we're always getting kicked out, or there seem to be a lot of glitches. The messaging section is a little confusing. It gets confusing to remember if it's a single or double click on some things.

I like that it offered tutorials prior to my company using it on a daily basis.

Cons

Sometimes, it's hard to find what I'm looking for, and sometimes, when you put information in OP, it becomes lost somewhere in the system. I don't get the whole messaging aspect of the software.

The support staff is always available! There are no tickets and no waiting for days for a representative to call back. They are always polite and knowledgeable.

Cons

Many billing/report features need updating. However, OP listens and has many fixes coming in the next version.

It's very user-friendly and easy to learn. The pages look clean. Scheduling is a breeze. Nurses love the vaccine input.

Cons

I despise the Instant Message feature. A simple bump of the keyboard will cause you to lose your message, and there is no finding it at that point.

OP has made it easier to work a patient up. Everything you need to do it is right there. We have a checklist of things to be done so nothing gets forgotten.

Cons

There have been so many glitches in this system. When this happens, I feel like I cannot do my job effectively.

Cons

There is much change and growth going on with this company, which in the end isn't really a bad thing, but it can sometimes be awkward and frustrating - kind of like the 'adolescent years!'

I like that most of the information that you need is all together right there in a group. I like that you can open up the whole chart and see everything you need to see.

Cons

I don't like how complicated it is to link siblings together for billing and insurance purposes.

I like that the product is pediatric-based. Also, our support rep has been a fantastic daily resource.

Cons

Change is always painful. I believe OP does their best to improve the product, but often, these improvements lead to temporary product malfunction and difficulty.

It is geared towards pediatricians. It is easy to learn, and I have found even more things that the system can do at their user conference. They are open to change and making the product better.

It's very user-friendly. It's windows-based (or modeled after windows) and perfect for pediatrics. The staff is extremely helpful, and their help desk is excellent.

Cons

Changes that are needed take quite a while to be made, and the training could be improved.

The drag and drop feature in which you could use in creating appointments is my favorite. It is quite user-friendly and understandable to a layman.

Cons

The updates are at times not tested and as such results in temporary glitches which could be frustrating

I like being able to print out forms instead of handwriting them and that it's easy to use. It moves quickly about 70% of the time, but the other 30% makes it very hard to get work done.

Cons

There are way too many issues while trying to work up patients.

The customer support is lacking. Reports are weak. Since I began, I am getting small charges for services that were previously included in annual maintenance.

One of my favorite things about the software is that you can enlarge the scanned records and print them easily.

I do not like how it will sometimes jump to another patient if you go from one area (such as review) to another (such as a chart).

Reporting is too varied with too many options and can get confusing. But during the 2014 conference, I learned OP14 is addressing many of my concerns, and I am very hopeful and excited about the adjustments made.

You can duplicate information and not have to type it every time. You add an address beginning with a patient and then can copy over contact information if it is the same as the patient.

In the office, there are many pages to navigate through, which is time-consuming. The only large concern is it not saving preferences in OP on each individual device used and changing them back throughout the day.
