Having all related information with the event was a big convenience as well. Pros Picspotr finally released an app in the early months of 2021, it added a lot of convenience. Picspotr is a beginner friendly CRM that's designed for photographers and competitively priced. Picspotr helps manage client information and profiles, workflows, payments, and invoices. Get contracts e-signed easily. The Picspotr scheduler keeps related client profiles and invoices with events. It can be synced with Outlook or Google calendar and lets clients know when you're available. Cons Picspotr has made improvements but it still hasn't caught up. I didn't have success with the online payments or invoices. Both were just clumsy and difficult. I wanted more personalization and branding. I’ve had great luck with all of the features and plan to continue using it in the future. I highly recommend it for photographers, especially those just starting out. It is economical and helps with your work flow. Pros The software is easy to use and understand. Cons I wish there was a bit of automation to the product. For example, the ability to have emails automatically sent at intervals to remind people about questionnaires, quotes, and invoices. There are also a few bugs of things that I can’t delete once they are generated. I don't have to use different softwares to piece together different functions that I need. PicSpotr is one stop shopping for managing my photography business. Pros This software has everything I need to run my business. It's easy to use with no learning curve. The price was also very affordable as a young business. I also like that the software/website incorporates a variety of "races" in their advertisement. I see people who look like me and I appreciate that a lot. Cons Nothing. It's perfect. I don't have any complaints about the software. I think my user error though is when someone accepted a quote, I did not get an email, but I'm sure that's a setting problem I have not enabled. Very generic interface. Would love for the content to be more inline with the company's branding (i.e. integration with my website). I'd love a prettier interface. I've only used it for one client and she wasn't impressed. Pros I like the branding capabilities, the features and the ability to streamline everything for your clients in one place. I have yet to explore all features. So this review is based on my short experience so far. Cons I am really finding it frustrating to just pop out a simple contract and an invoice to a client without having to start from scratch. I have looked hi and low for a way to do this simply but there just isn't. I'm coming from a PayPal environment where my items were saved and loaded. I could save an invoice as a template. Same as on Agree.com which I use for contracts. I don't want to have to edit and create contracts with each and every client when most of them are carbon copies. The platform does allow for the ability to create contract templates with template tags. You can then re-use the templates on demand without having to re-create them. I had a client respond to a message that was sent through PicSpotr, the system never alerted me she had sent me a message at all. Pros It allows you to manage most client interactions & keep track of expenses all within one platform. Cons It doesn’t allow you to set up email sequences in a workflow so it’s not automated. If I wanted to send everything manually I could have done that for free like I was doing before buying this system. Additionally there are glitches that need to be fixed. All messages, contracts, emails, etc sent to clients automatically say “read” even if the client doesn’t/hasn’t read it. It also allows for questionnaires to be completed without clients filling out the required boxes. Set up has been easy and customer service has been quick to handle any issue I've had. Cons When I signed up for the program, it had yet to launch a workflow feature. Waiting on it has been my list favorite. However, workflows are being released in about three weeks and I'm excited about it. That's been my missing piece. In the interim, I have a manual workaround that works fine until this feature is released. It's a little frustrating that there isn't a key for the 'fill in' portions as well as no way for clients to put their own info. The owner is amazing and very supportive. Pros I love how easy it is for my clients to pay online and have picspotr linked directly to my square account. The program is very easy to use and portrays and incredible look for me to invoice clients! Cons I would love to see a scheduling software added to this, making it similar to honey book so I can set it up on my website for clients to book and pay all in one go! I look a lot more professional giving my clients their own portal area where they can keep track of their bookings, communication and payments made/due . Cons I wish there could be more integration with smugmug contact forms, but this is a limitation on smugmugs side with their security. Also would not mind more options on the iPhone App, like access to the questionnaire the client filled out. I asked if they could add a documents section that I could upload any documents I have for my clients and they did just that. I think PicSpotr is the best client management system out there that many people don't know about. Pros I liked how easy it was to learn how to use. Cons That there aren't many things you can customize make more personal. I would like to see more of my brand on PicSpotr. Milton in customer service has been super helpful with any questions or concerns I have had thus far. It mean a lot when companies care about their consumers. Pros What I like most about PicSpotr is the ease of use. The software is very user friendly and easy to set up. I like that it has templates for contracts for my clients and I can organize my packages clearly. Also you can personalize the information you give to clients by uploading your business logo. Cons There’s no app, so accessing on the go is kind of a hassle because I have to long in every time from my phone.
