The overall experience with the Sage 100 is powerful. Allow management to customize the reports as per the need.

Pros

Sage 100 is a complete professional accounting software system. The system is available with a monthly low-cost maintenance.

Cons

There are issues with the software updates along with the additional cost associated with it. There are issues needed to be sorted out with the customer representatives which is not good

Sage s'est révélé plusieurs fois incompatible avec des outils de facturations et de devis que nous utilisons

Je suis une utilisatrice de longue date de Sage 100 et de plusieurs autres outils de la suite. Ce que je note comme atout majeur chez Sage c'est une conformité aux lois européennes.

Cons

Pratique, simple et conforme aux normes européennes. C'est souvent incompatible avec d'autres outils alors contactez le support si vous envisagez de passer dessus.

My overall experience with Sage 100 has been generally positive, especially when it comes to its core accounting strength and flexibility. It’s a reliable system for organizations that need more than basic bookkeeping

Pros

It balances robust accounting functionality with flexibility and customization. Sage 100’s general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable modules are solid and reliable. Customizable and Scalable

Cons

Although functional, the interface feels dated and not as intuitive as newer platforms. Sage 100 is still heavily desktop‑based Some reports are powerful but can be difficult to modify without advanced knowledge or external tools

In the end we kept using Sage for a long time for our accountancy side o0f the business. our accountant was fully trained on this and was able to train others so it made sense. We went and got alternative softwarew for the placing and receiving orders side of the business. If you did just want to get one piece of software though, it can do it all.

Pros

We used Sage 100 in two ways. We used it for the accountancy side and we also used it as our ordering software. As an accountancy package it was great. It took me a little bit longer to learn than some other programmes but in it's defence it was the first software of this type I had ever used. It served more than one functiona s a business when we started.

Cons

When it came to using it as our ordering software (both orders coming in and PO's for purchases) it seemed quite a long process compared to software we have used since which is specifically tailored to this function.

My overall experience with Sage 100 is towards the positive side. I like how it's simple to work with. I like how reporting is simple, but sometimes can get tedious. It is an easy to maintain software and Sage support is always a call away too.

Pros

I like how I get everything in one place under the Sage 100 umbrella. It has a strong inventory tracking and order processing. Other than these obvious features, I love it's reliability.

Cons

Sage 100 is a bit old fashioned in terms of looks and feeling when working on it. UI of Sage 100 could be much better than what it is now.

I started using Simply Accounting over 20 years ago in my accounting courses. It has now evolved into Sage 50 and into Sage 100. This program still out does the accounting principles of other programs. Thank you Sage!

Pros

Sage 100 uses GAAP, generally accepted accounting principles, in every small business this is a must use tool. Sage has provided the program to the school system as educational partners. I know several past students who now use Sage in their daily lives because they learned the program in high school

Cons

Sometimes the program is difficult to install in a school setting in our lab environment. With that being said I fully understanding the licensing is a difficult thing to keep track digitally.

I use Sage 100 for the job costing functionality that is a delight to track expenses down to the task level.

Pros

The dashboard is its strength and giving me an at-a-glance view of our cash flow and over-budget alerts.

Cons

A standout downside is the cost. All modules require additional payment. It is not easy to access some functionality when I use a mobile phone, so that is also bad.

Overall it has been a solid and cost effective software for my business. The function is dependable but takes some time to learn the different functions.

Pros

Sage 100 offers strong value for money for SMEs. The financial modules are reliable and can maintain small multi entity Groups for a good cost. Reporting is flexible enough for month end reporting requirements and the system is stable and consistent.

Cons

The main cons with Sage 100 relate to usability and customer support. The user interface feels dated which as a first time user meant that it took longer to learn than accounting software's I have used in the past. The customer support response times can also be inconsistent.

Complete Accounting System covers main Accounting and many extras. Inventory is very good at tracting information,

Amount of printing reports to post transactions. Needs ways to update transactions more automated on daliy basis.

Very positive. All the pros are still what we experience. The glitches happen maybe 5-6 times out of the year.

Pros

As a company that job costs employees' time, this has been an easy tool to use. It also serves us well with reporting and tracking finances.

Cons

Sometimes data doesn't save. We still sometimes experience glitches when running payroll. It doesn't take a lot of time to address, but it still takes time and is perplexing as to why this happens from time to time.
