### "Reliable tools for fast, clear training"

November 13, 2025

5.0

My experience with Articulate 360 has been strong. The tools support fast development, clear training, and simple collaboration. They help me build consistent content for technical audiences and keep training up to date with process changes.

Pros

The tools are easy to learn and fast to use. Rise helps me build clean, structured courses without extra design work. Storyline gives me the control I need for simulations and interactive practice. Review keeps feedback organized so updates stay simple. The suite works together in a smooth flow that saves time.

Cons

Rise limits layout control when I build technical content. Storyline takes more time to update when courses grow. Media compression in Rise lowers the quality of detailed images and videos.

### "KG Review Articulate "

November 13, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Articulate 360 has been very positive. It’s a versatile, user-friendly suite that supports both rapid development and highly customized eLearning. Storyline gives me the flexibility to build complex interactions and scenario-based learning, while Rise allows for quick, modern, responsive courses. I especially appreciate Review 360 for streamlined SME collaboration. The asset libraries and templates also speed up production. The main drawbacks are Storyline’s heavier files, limited real-time collaboration, and the extra effort required to ensure full accessibility. Still, Articulate 360 remains a reliable, powerful toolset for creating engaging, professional learning experiences.

Pros

Articulate 360 makes it incredibly easy to design polished, interactive learning experiences without heavy development. Storyline gives you full control—layers, triggers, variables—so you can build anything from compliance modules to complex branching scenarios. Rise is fast, clean, and perfect for responsive microlearning. I also love the built-in asset libraries, templates, and Review 360. Review saves so much time because SMEs can comment directly on slides, and everything stays organized in one place. Overall, it speeds up production while still letting you create custom, high-quality learning.

Cons

The biggest challenge is that Storyline can be a little “heavy”—projects get large, publishing takes a while, and version control can get messy unless you use strict file-saving habits. Rise, while efficient, has limitations when you need complex interactions, custom layouts, or WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance.

### "Set 5 STARS to value TRUE when user clicks ARTICULATE"

November 22, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Articulate 360 has been highly positive and productive. The suite provides a comprehensive set of tools that allows my instructional design team to efficiently meet varied production needs. While there are some standard learning curves with the advanced features, the platform's continued updates, like the recent improvements to Rise customization, demonstrate Articulate's commitment to solving user pain points. For professionals who require the flexibility to create advanced, engaging learning content that genuinely stands out, Articulate 360 is the most powerful and reliable option available today.

Pros

What I like most about Articulate 360 is the relentless commitment to continuous feature growth. The ecosystem allows for the quick and effective creation of modern, engaging learning content. Storyline 360 remains my favorite tool and the core reason for my high recommendation. After 15 years in the training industry, Storyline is the most powerful authoring tool I have used. I love nothing more than "overengineering" things with triggers, variables, states and layers. Having complete creative control to build truly custom, complex content like detailed branching scenarios and realistic simulations sets it leaps and bound apart from your basic powerpoint.

Cons

Historically, the inability to fully customize the look and feel of Rise 360 courses was a drawback, often requiring a reliance on Storyline for greater design freedom. However, the introduction of custom blocks has solved this constraint, allowing us to maintain brand consistency and design flexibility without sacrificing the speed of Rise.

### "All in one package"

November 13, 2025

4.0

Overall it’s been generally positive. It’s been helpful and making courses and meets the needs of my customers and business.

Pros

I like that articulate 360 is constantly updating themselves to ensure that the latest software is installed on our computers. I also like the articulate 360 has a variety of products so that I don’t need to purchase different software in order to complete and meet my business meets.

Cons

it crashes often, especially when a file has more than 300+ slides. When working on this file, it says that storyline detected a bug but I don’t know what the bug is so I end up saving the file, closing the file, reopening it, and continue working on it.

### "Articulate is a game changer for designers"

November 13, 2025

5.0

This suite of products is the best in the industry. I may dabble in adding AI content but I will always start with my foundation must have Articulate authoring software.

Pros

Articulate helped me raise my learning design to the next level. The templates, the built in characters even the content library makes my job so much easier.

Cons

Creating captions used to be difficult but Articulate has fixed this issue. I haven’t experienced an issue that Articulate has addressed or the learning heroes community doesn’t have a work around for.

### "Nerding Out At Articuland"

October 22, 2025

5.0

It is very effective for our process where our SMEs will upload narrated PowerPoints and allows us to bring the content more to life. I am excited to integrate more variables and references as learned from the sessions today.

Pros

User experience and adaptability to screen size makes content digestible for students. They tell us they prefer rise content on their phone and tablets to traditional learning materials like PDFs or recorded lectures.

Cons

Tables with subscripts/superscripts often cause my Storyline to crash. I find that subscripts/superscripts change upon publish to Review 360 and/or LMS and almost always require a manual re-edit.

### "9 Years or Articulate "

September 11, 2025

5.0

It’s been great, I been using it for the past 9 years and I have been able to become very proficient with the tool. It’s easy to navigate and I’m able to create dynamic learning.

Pros

The ability to rapidly create content. It provides a clean and seamless format for creators and learners alike.

Cons

There could be better standardization specifically when using AI. When using AI you are forced to use the theme template provided.

### "Versatile Learning Design Tool"

November 12, 2025

5.0

Overall I love the product and has so many possibilities outside the box. It’s great because the indents customizable features really allows your imagination to run free for all learning possibilities that you can image.

Pros

The versatility outside of the primary design intention, allowing more engaging and creative learning experience.

Cons

Lack of movement of backlog enhancements (such as supporting alpha channel videos). Every time I do run into a frustration I usually found a work around but most of the support is from other users not the company’s there response is typically (put the rest in) not put the request in and here is possible work around…

### "Rise meets our needs"

September 11, 2025

4.0

We use Rise and Review. We moved to Rise from Lectora because we needed to update to responsive training per state rules, So far we have been loving the development process and finding ways to work with the system to create new looks and layouts with the tools we have. Review is pretty good - my staff often get confused/unhappy that comments aren’t attached to specific things but rather give a screen shot \*e.g., a word is wrong and you have to hunt for it vs. having it “flagged” like it would in MS Word.

Pros

Courses are easy and quick to build and accessibility is built into most of the Rise blocks, which along with responsiveness is a requirement for our sponsors. Interface is clean and easy to navigate and create a professional looking training with little design or coding knowledge.

Cons

Rise blocks are pretty limited in terms of formatting image sizes and the text settings. I was excited about that new blocks came out in Rise but they aren’t responsive, which is disappointing because at first glance I thought “wow I can really use these with some of my content!” I did play with them for custom dividers, so that was fun,

### "Articulate is a Great Authoring Tool"

September 12, 2025

5.0

Pros

Articulate 360, especially Rise, is so intuitive and makes creating engaging eLearnings easy to handle. Rise makes creating eLearnings fast and effective, while Articulate Storyline makes custom courses possible. If you can imagine a scenario or interaction, most likely Storyline can make it happen. Articulate is also always making improvements to its creation process, whether through AI capabilities or the ability to enhance accessibility for all learners.

Cons

While Rise is changing a lot and becoming more customizable (especially with custom blocks), there are still aspects (like text over images for flip cards) that would be beneficial. There are a couple of things that I have seen mention or asked about in the Articulate community that have not been addressed in road maps, despite users asking about them years prior.

### "My thoughts on Articulate 360 "

November 18, 2025

4.0

We use Articulate 360 in many ways: to create e-learnings, videos, e-books, branching scenarios. Customer service is very responsive and it's also easy to find answers to most questions by searching online (because it is a commonly used tool). I do like the new Ai features, but think that there could be some improvements (see above for improvements).

Pros

Rise is user friendly. Storyline is easily customizable. Ai voiceover is realistic. Ai text editing is accurate. Easy to create videos in storyline by adding images and animations. Can use proprietary information and know it's secure. Timely and responsive customer support. Also open to user feedback and make updates regularly.

Cons

Ai image generator is not that great- most of the images don't look realistic. Ai translation of Japanese is also not great. Localization is not very easy to use. Ai content creation from source document can be improved.

### "A Great Basic Tool"

November 13, 2025

4.0

I truly appreciate articulate for the functions and features that it provides users. I am able to quickly create courses with storyline that allow users to experience our software interactively or I can use Rise to efficiently produce clean, organised courses that can be easily updated whenever needed.

Pros

I really enjoy the ability to quickly create training that accurately reflects the environment that our learners will be using. They are able to easily access the training, and it makes it much easier for them to practice the processes they need for their jobs. There is a lot of value to the product, because it is pretty easy to catch on, even as a true beginner.

Cons

I think there are some features that are missing, especially when the projects get more complex. Some types of variables, like text variables start to breakdown or halt progress when courses require more finesse. I also think some of the AI accessibility features are still a little clunky.

### "Great platform with a couple small refreshed needed"

October 22, 2025

5.0

Rise 360 has been a great tool to create uniform, compelling digital learning experiences. I can see the power of Storyline but it is hampered by the interface. Though admittedly I need more time and experience using that particular app to create interactives.

Pros

Building blocks allow me to quickly and effectively input course content in a uniform style and tone.

Cons

The interface for Storyline is in desperate need of a refresh. It looks like windows 98 PowerPoint while the rest of the suite is modern and more “Apple-like”

### "Great versatility for Training Solutions"

November 14, 2025

5.0

I was introduced to the Articulate 360 suite in my graduate Instructional Design program. I have gone on to use it my workplace as a Training Specialist. I love the flexibility that these tools have to create tailor-made training items for my specific needs.

Pros

Learning how to create courses and publish them has a gentle learning curve for new users. If you can make a PowerPoint, you can create a Storyline module. Rise has seamless options for including Storyline module or other pieces of media.

Cons

The included assets are limited (characters, for example), and I have to go outside the software for most images.

Fabulous tool for creating courses, easy to provide review links to stakeholder. Ease of setting versions of courses created

Pros

Updates and upgrades are responsive to requests by users, ease of course creation, providing review links to stakeholders is easy and capturing their feedback is easy even when they’re not a user.

Cons

### "Pretty Good Pretty Pretty Pretty Pretty Good"

November 14, 2025

I sometimes enjoy it and am sometimes frustrated. It's very powerful. But it feels like it lags behind modern times sometimes. I would like to make training that looks more like YouTube and Tiktok

Pros

Lots of people use it, review tool is easy to use. Allows for custom JavaScript and xAPI. Can create beautiful courses. Custom block in Rise looks dope. Rise is a nice tool for content developers who have weaker graphic design skills.

Cons

Branching in Storyline is very hard I need dark mode in Storyline development because I get migraines. Accessibility should be for designers too. Can't get question banks transfered from external vendor in Rise Replay video functionality breaks quiz review, I want to make more video exams, plz fix

I’m a former user of Captivate. It doesn’t compare to this. My overall experience with Articulate is an A+ plus. This software has actually been life-changing for my company as well as my department.

Pros

Very intuitive, easy to use, great return on investment, the localization chunk has saved time and money

Cons

### "Versatile, Flexible and Responsive E-Learning Authoring Tool"

September 12, 2025

5.0

I have been using Storyline and Rise for over two years and have used it to build many courses. I have also participated in over 30 E-Learning Heroes Challenges.

Pros

I really enjoy the versatility of the product. I have used other e-learning authoring tools, and they do not even compare. The level of control when using Storyline allows me to build pretty much anything I can imagine! The integration of Storyline with Rise allows for responsive courses with unlimited possibilities!

Cons

There is very little that I don’t like. However, I do sometimes wish that many of the features that are available using Maestro’s Mighty plugin for Rise were native to Rise.

Overall, my experience with Articulate 360 has been great. I have found it to be very easy to use, and we get good feedback from our learners about the system.

Pros

I enjoy how responsive it is. I can edit a course and re-publish it in minutes, without the learner ever knowing I took it off their dashboard.

Cons

I wish that Review360 had more options for stakeholders to make reviewing trainings easier. For example, I know that the ability to annotate review screenshots just came out, which is great but I think could be improved.

### "My Go-To Platform for Building Online Courses"

October 30, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Articulate 360 has been very positive. It’s an easy-to-use platform for creating online training courses. The tools work well together, and I like how Rise 360 helps build modern, responsive courses quickly, while Storyline 360 gives me the flexibility to design more interactive and custom content. Collaboration through Review 360 also makes it simple to collect feedback and make improvements. Although the price is on the higher side and there’s a bit of a learning curve with Storyline, the overall quality, support, and regular updates make it worth it. In short, Articulate 360 has made my course development process faster, smoother, and more professional.

Pros

The tools are user-friendly and Rise 360 lets you build beautiful, responsive courses quickly. I also really like Review 360, which makes it simple to get feedback and make changes without confusion. Overall, it helps save time and makes course creation smooth and enjoyable.

Cons

Storyline 360 takes some time to learn - it’s powerful but not very beginner-friendly. Sometimes the software updates can be large and take a while to install, which slows down work a bit.

### "Great products with a fantastic community"

October 22, 2025

5.0

My experience with Articulate 360 has been positive overall. The tools are easy to learn and implement. Storyline is a bit more challenging, but it’s very rewarding with something works out as intended. There’s also a ton of resources and a great community that provide excellent guidance and support.

Pros

I like the ability to create interactive sand engaging eLearning content for my learners. The suite is perfect for making short courses (Rise) and more in-depth courses (Storyline) depending on timelines and content.

Cons

I would like to see the AI tools more accessible to everyone with a 360 license instead of San additional add-on. Moreover, I think Rise can be a bit more customizable; allowing users to deviate from set theme colors. That said, the new custom blocks are great!
