### "The Go-To Tool for High-Quality Training"

October 22, 2025

5.0

has been a versatile and powerful tool for our learning programs. It enables quick course creation, interactive learning, and seamless collaboration, making it easier to deliver high-quality, engaging training experiences.

Pros

I love how makes it easy to build engaging, interactive courses quickly. The suite’s tools work seamlessly together, letting us focus on design and learner experience rather than technical hurdles.

Cons

One limitation is that complex interactions in Storyline 360 can take time to build, and collaboration across multiple courses can sometimes be less seamless than desired.

### "Easy to Use"

September 11, 2025

5.0

Articulate has been a great addition to my ‘toolbox’ as an instructional designer. Our agency has nothing but positive things to say about the look and feel of the materials created by Articulate.

Pros

Ease of use and amazing creation. From the first day I used Articulate, I was impressed how simple it was to use - if you know Power Point, you can get started. The AI features have also been a great addition!

Cons

I don’t know that I have one - Articulate has helped us create content that is engaging - my customers love what we have been able to create with Articulate.

It has been an awesome experience, especially with integration that they’ve added to .

Pros

The ease of use along with integrated AI technology makes for a better experience when creating content.

Cons

I don’t have any thing as of yet. I haven’t ran into any issues that were warned me to say that it’s a con.

### "Great software, easy to pick up, saves time "

November 12, 2025

5.0

We’ve been using 360 for a while as a team. It is easy to learn, provides great options for collaboration, review, and publication.

Pros

The ai generation is fantastic. It’s helped us speed up our development considerably. We use it for images, text to speech, and audio.

Cons

The structured content format reduces the developer’s creative choices. It does standardize things though, so learners always know what to expect.

### "A Creative and Reliable Tool for Engaging Course Design"

November 12, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with has been very positive. It’s a reliable, user-friendly suite that helps me bring course content to life in creative and interactive ways. The mix of tools, especially Storyline and Rise, lets me balance flexibility with efficiency, depending on the project needs. While there are a few limitations when it comes to deep customization and collaboration, the platform overall makes course development smoother and more enjoyable.

Pros

What I like most about is how seamlessly it brings creativity and functionality together. It makes it easy to turn course ideas into engaging, interactive experiences without getting bogged down in complex coding. I enjoy how flexible it is, whether I’m building custom interactions in Storyline or quick, polished modules in Rise, it gives me the tools to make learning feel dynamic and accessible for students.

Cons

What I like least about is that some of its features can feel limited when trying to customize beyond the built-in templates. While it’s great for quick development, making highly tailored designs or advanced interactions sometimes requires extra workarounds. I also wish collaboration and version control were smoother, especially when multiple team members are editing or reviewing the same project.

### "Storyline Review"

November 13, 2025

5.0

It is a big improvement from the Flash courses we built previously. Review allows us to gather feedback for courses in one area and track on any device.

Pros

Ease of use with triggers and customization. We can build the same type of interactions without having to be knowledgeable with coding language.

Cons

Version compatibility. For courses built in a previous version, updating features can sometimes be tricky where complete recreation is required to work properly.

I love using the product. It’s a really nice way of creating courses for your company as well as external audiences like clients or other organizations that are interested in buying courses from you.

Pros

I love how easy all the tools are easy to use and and how the AI assistant helps you create and finish up course content.

Cons

I don’t like how sometimes the account rep does not reach out or they get swapped out without you knowing and you have to reach out in order to get assistance. I wish the account rep would meet with clients more regularly or at least least have a once a year check in.

### "Reviewing without an account but clunky "

November 12, 2025

4.0

I have used Rise extensively. The most fun one was doing an escape room based in a health care clinic. It was really just a series of multiple choice questions with fun custom visuals

Pros

I love that it’s easy to share with reviewers because they don’t need to have an account to be able to review and comment

Cons

The review function is very clunky and it’s hard to see what content the reviewers are commenting on

### "Learning Professional's Best Friend!"

November 13, 2025

5.0

This is a wonderful platform that has a robust set of tools. From the training creation of Rise and Storyline, to the fantastic SME feedback tool of Review 360, my needs are met daily as an instctional designer with this suite!

Pros

The ability to create engaging training content that uses mutlimedia for a better learner experience.

Cons

The tool struggles with SharePoint files, which our organization uses a lot. This requires us to use local files, which makes it more difficult to work on a Storyline 360 project effectively.

### "Articulate is the best! "

November 12, 2025

5.0

I enjoy using articulate products. I mostly use Storyline and Rise. They are easy to use and help me create high quality trainings quickly.

Pros

Easy and intuitive to use. In Rise, I like the new custom block in and AI assistant. I like that I can create custom images in Canva and drop them into Rise to help my courses have a customized and unique feel

Cons

I wish that in Rise, you could change settings globally. For example, all dark background for the entire course, instead by selecting block by block

### "I like Articulate"

November 13, 2025

5.0

Overall it is a great platform that is limitless in it’s abilities. I’ve used it for everything from a single slide with interactivity built into it to building a full escape room.

Pros

I like the capabilities and constant improvements that are made to the software. I can always count on improvements being made recommendations being listened to, and it’s a great tool for my team.

Cons

At times, slides get corrupted. When that happens it obviously takes time to correct whatever is wrong, but I’m always able to resolve whatever is not working.

### "Creating and exploring through Articulate 360"

October 31, 2025

4.0

Overall, I have a positive experience with . I am still learning so much and excited to try out different features. It’s very accessible for beginners, like me, while also allowing those with experience to apply creative methods.

Pros

I enjoy the user interface of . It’s easy to collaborate with a team through its review features and I feel the product covers most of our needs.

Cons

Storyline can be slow which affects production. I wish there was a product built into for storyboarding which could be shared with stakeholders who do not have the licenses. Similar to review. I spend a lot of time converting storyboards made in other software into our e learning.

### "Thanks Storyline for keeping me employed"

November 13, 2025

It’s been fine overall. Sometimes I wish I had more advanced capabilities for coding and functionality (like reusable trigger libraries).

Pros

Ease of use, the ability to add and use triggers and variables, JavaScript integration, I can export media elements now as SVG

Cons

The Next and Previous buttons are literally whatever the learner visited previously or what comes next, not the slides in the order dictated by the menu.

Excellent! The onboarding is so easy, because there are so many resources to teach you what can be done, and how to do things. ELearning Heroes is also amazing!

Pros

The Rise usability is easy and fast to create content! SL is so much easier that Captivate for eLearning.

Cons

In Rise, you cannot save your own color palette, which makes using branded colors a bit of a headache.

### "Just Use Storyline; thank me later"

November 13, 2025

5.0

I love it. Use it every day. I think it makes my job easier and better. Learning how to author in storyline was an important level-up in my career 10 or so years ago.

Pros

Storyline is the best in the business—no comparison. I love how you can make it be as much or as little as you want it to be. From a simple point and click course to a complicated game, Storyline is the best.

Cons

The push for the AI features. We do not currently have access, and it seems like those of use who do not are mostly ignored.

### "The Magic Powers of Articulate 360"

October 22, 2025

5.0

I have been using Articulate for over 3 years now and it has helped me enhance my skills and achieve the targets that I need to in a very efficient and consistent manner.

Pros

I love how it helps me create trainings that further help the employees achieve customer service goals and exceed client expectation.

Cons

I just feel that the content library can have more elements. For some of my projects, I need the characters to be dressed up in a certain way which I feel is a limitation.

Pros

### "A Quick Tool that Updates Often"

October 22, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with is very positive, and in the past when I have had to recommend an eLearning authoring tool for purchase, Articulate has always been a very easy sell.

Pros

I like that is so easy and fast to develop eLearning content in. Although it is a subscription, it is constantly updating its features- making the reoccurring payments worthwhile.

Cons

I dislike the lack of customizability, as some organizations have very strict style guidelines for branding, but I know that is slowly improving.

### "Ultimately delighted with Articulate 360"

May 21, 2025

5.0

I am delighted with it. This is my favorite instructional design platform. I have used others such as Adobe Captivate, and Articulate is by far my favorite.

Pros

First the wide variety of formats available to develop content. You can make a more modern mobile web-like interface using Articulate Rise (My favorite). You can go to a PowerPoint slide-like look with Articulate Studio, were you can instantly import PowerPoint presentations to a training design canvas. Or you can opt for a fully customized approach were you can make every single detail of the user experience custom using Articulate Storyline. Wow! That's empowerment for the Instructional Designer. What about their newest AI designer features! WOW! It will save you hours of creative work.

Cons

I have not found one thing to list here yet. Maybe I will, but not yet. Perhaps the fact that they offer 300 seats for their embedded learning Management System, so you don't have to invest in a separate solution, but there is no mobile App we can use to consume the content with, like other LMS solutions in the marketplace such as Learn360, which they have a mobile app users can download to consume the training content.

Alternatives considered

[Adobe Captivate](https://www.capterra.com/p/227148/Adobe-Captivate/)

Reason for choosing Articulate 360

Best overall value and easier to learn. Articulate produces a sleeker output course than Adobe Captivate Squared PowerPoint-like interface.
