Easy to use but also grows with you as your knowledge of the features grows. Cons Would like more Javascript availability. Cons Seems any shortfalls are being addressed in the latest updates. The support offered by the company makes up for any challenges. Every month a great new tool/feature is added in to allow me to make my designs more engaging. Pros I like that I can create anything I can image for my learners. You can create something simple and quick for micro learning or deep in-depth branching scenario interactions. Cons Some of the interactions within Rise aren’t 100% accessible friendly. Articulate 360 also provides resources that allow users to grow their skills independently and with a community of Articulate users. Pros Articulate 360, specifically Rise 360 and Review 360, are intuitive and easy to navigate. Articulate 360 provides high leverage resources and tutorials that allow users to expand their skills. The Articulate 360 community of users shares valuable expertise that helps me troubleshoot and more importantly, further develop my skills. Cons Storyline 360 is time intensive to learn and it’s not as easy to navigate. The tools are not as intuitive as Rise 360. Review Source MA Mary A. Overall happy with the platform Pros Customization of different content, capabilities for reporting, share reviews etc. It is great for customization. Cons That I can’t use it on a MAC. I love the speed and ease in which I can develop my e-learning content. I like the integration between rise and storyline it allows me to easily add storyline blocks and videos and rise, and I’m easily able to create graphics and videos outside and import them into storyline and then create corm compliant courses that I am able to import Into my companies LMS Pros He’s a use in integration between rise and storyline. The ability to quickly develop content and published to web in LMS. Cons I would like more control over color and bullet points and tax, formatting and rise. I’m not personally a fan of branching scenarios as they are super time consuming but they are very cool to implement in training. It would be great to see more of the AL component initiate those scenarios. Pros I like the flexibility and features overall. I also like the built in templates to make layouts easier. I’m also a fan of the use of AI to support drafting quiz questions and knowledge checks based on the content within specific slides of choice. Cons I wish there were more interactive layouts to choose from. I also wish you had talking avatars and more interactive components to AI. Review Source RC Robin C. And our end users like the layout. Pros All of it - lots of great tools in one pkg. we use most of the tools -Storyline, Rise, Review360, and Reach 360. Cons I’d like to see Reach360 to get all updated publishing of courses automatically instead of having to publish separately. My favorite authoring tool is Storyline, although Rise (with its new custom blocks) is coming along nicely! Pros The ability to create elearnings that are impactful to our learners, whether that is in Rise or Storyline. Cons Sometimes Articulate is stuck in the past with improvements that should have been already enabled, however, they are doing a great job with the newer updates, etc. Review Source MP Mike P. It also decreased production time from multiple months to just one or less. The review process is convenient too. Pros Rise is easy to learn and use, it’s mobile-friendly, and pretty much all accessible. When on-boarding e-learning staff, they are able to catch on fast. Pros The ease of use, compatibility with others tools, the AI functions, and language translation also! RISE is very easy to use and very modern and sleek. Review allows a great way to have others provide input. Cons Storyline is a little clunky and can be difficult to use. Cons Speed at which new features are introduced. There are some posts in the community asking for the same things for years. Pros Articulate360 has easy to use courses. You do not need a degree in programming to put together some amazing professional courses. Articuland listens to their users and continually improves their product! Pros When I first started using storyline it was words on a page and using built in quiz tools to assess learners. I am now comfortable with using variables, triggers, layers, states, and more. Cons I would love to have natural horizontal scroll bars. I create simulations and I commonly use horizontal scroll bars by making it do it through manipulation. Articulate 360 lets me create fresh, polished courses the same day new features roll out—no steep learning curve or long design cycles. Pros Articulate 360 makes putting together online courses feel simple. Rise 360’s templates let me drag, drop, and customize in minutes, and Storyline is there when I want extra interactivity. I can go from idea to a finished course the same day without it looking rushed. If you need to build training fast but still want it to look polished, this is the toolkit to have. Cons I highly recommend Storyline 360 now that it’s available on Mac. Being able to build interactive, custom courses right on my laptop has made keeping up with rapid changes so much easier.
