They provide so many resources to start learning and keep learning as the program grows and your knowledge advances. Pros This program improved engagement by leaps and bounds. It’s what made the difference between box checking and actual learning. Cons I would prefer they have a monthly payment option. Especially for individual users. Articulate has allowed me to bring training to life in a way that I would not have been able to do so without a coding and graphic design background. Pros I like the fact that they have two platforms that fit different styles of elearning needs. Both platforms are customizable and allows you to easily bring your learning vision to life. Cons I dislike that Articulate storyline can sometimes be a little glitchy. We have a rule that you should save your work every three changes just in case the system glitches and closes. The different styles, blocks, and functions allow us to create any number of trainings to support learners all throughout our wider supply chain training. The video creation component, and wider safety and security, make using Articulate 360 as a tool easy and helpful. Cons I’ve found over time that there is a steeper learning curve when it comes to using some of the wider aspects of the product as a whole. Pros Love the ease of use and the Review capabilities. I have relied on PowerPoint in the past and the ease and transition to 360 has been seamless. Also the amount of Assets that come with the product has been really helpful with out having to outsource graphics Cons Although i do use graphics a lot out of Articulate, when I attempt to drag in screen shots it doesn’t always keep the images. Storyline was a little bit harder to learn and the rise program was super easy and straightforward. I go to is the rise program. Pros I love utilizing Rise for my course creation . It’s is super simple , straight forward and now with the custom blocks is even better . Cons There is really nothing I don’t like about articulate 360. Pros How easy its to use, and the way it connects with our LSM lets us make updates in real time and the operation can see them. Cons The way you cant edit pictures directly in the template, the way you cant upload color palettes or branding, and finally, how when editing in Rise360, you cant scroll to other blocks. Storyline is used for complex, interactive simulations, while Rise handles quick, mobile-friendly modules and refreshers. We use Content Library assets and AI Assistant to speed up design, then push drafts to Review 360 so SMEs and leaders can comment in context. Once approved, we publish to Reach 360 or our LMS and track completion data to drive updates. Pros I like that Articulate 360 gives my team a complete end-to-end workflow in one place. Storyline handles complex interactions and simulations, while Rise makes it easy to produce clean, responsive modules quickly. Review 360 streamlines SME feedback, and the Content Library plus AI Assistant really speed up design. Overall, it helps us deliver polished, consistent training without needing custom development. Cons What I like least is that more advanced or highly customized interactions can still be time-consuming to build and maintain in Storyline. It also requires strong design discipline from the team to keep templates, standards, and accessibility consistent, since the tool itself doesn’t enforce all of that out of the box. Storyline is my go to for all content creation. The ability to import PowerPoints to jump start by Storyline projects is a helpful tool. Pros Course creation is fantastic and the industry standard. I also, enjoy the translation features. The built in assessment templates are very helpful. Cons Sometimes I run into trigger issues with having more than 5 triggers. If there was a monthly tiered plan I would use the ecosystem more often. I use Rise for the quick production of instructional content and Storyline for exploration Cons I appreciate that the interactive blocks in Rise offer the best interactions that storyline offers, but I wish there were more. It was called presenter originally as a PowerPoint add in. I loved it then and it is one tool that keeps evolving overtime which I appreciate. Pros I enjoy the way it can easily add quizzes and interactivity into an e-learning course. The addition of the AI assistant takes the entire software package to the next level. Cons I could do a little better with the CMI five and XAPI ease of integration. I struggled to figure most of that out. It would also be nice if it integrated more easily to a GPT through an API.
