Great experience. I tried two other softwares before I went with HQ rentals and let me tell you, I don't know what I would have done without these guys.

Pros

Everything is easy to navigate and very intuitive, it's like they thought of everything. \[sensitive content hidden\] tied everything together for me in a way I could understand.

Cons

The biggest con i'd say is that the system will log you out way too fast. This can be a bit of a pain when trying to get things done.

The experience has been great! \[sensitive content hidden\] made onboarding as simplified as it could be, while complex the software can be overly complex and need complex workarounds to accomplish what could be simple. \[sensitive content hidden\] helped build these workarounds for us but it shouldn’t be so complex to do some simple tasks.

Pros

Support staff was amazing, \[sensitive content hidden\] did an amazing job walking me through the software and would not have been able to do it without his help!!

Cons

Complex, and even though there’s so many options there’s not enough specific things that I need to get our setup to be fully autonomous. There’s a lot of places that need polishing and some parts that are just unfinished. \[sensitive content hidden\] did a great job and helped me find workaround but using the software can be quite frustrating at times.

We acquired HQ Car Rental Software about 10 months ago, and it has definitely transformed our organization. It has given us much better oversight of the company, especially when it comes to managing reservations and daily operations. I would highly recommend HQ Car Rental Software to any rental company without hesitation. On top of that, their customer service is excellent—always responsive and helpful whenever we need support.

Pros

User-friendly while still being powerful. It gives us complete control over our company operations, making everything smoother and more organized. The system also feels very secure, which is important for managing our data, and it offers great value for money considering all the features it provides.

Cons

There isn’t anything major that we didn’t like. Any small challenges we faced in the beginning were quickly resolved thanks to their excellent customer support.

Overall, the experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The lack of customer service is a serious problem. I needed to book for a new customer, but their billing system failed — and no one responded from Sales or Support despite multiple emails. This is unacceptable for any software claiming to serve a business-critical function. It’s impossible to run a business when basic support and reliability are missing. I expected far better.

Pros

The software might be helpful if live support were actually available. In theory, the features seem promising, but without timely communication during outages or issues, it's impossible to rely on it. We need to be informed when there’s downtime so we can plan accordingly — sadly, that doesn't happen.

Cons

You’re completely on your own when something goes wrong. The platform is not user-friendly, and instead of focusing on business, we’re forced to spend time figuring out bugs and workarounds. Customer support is virtually non-existent, and it feels like they’ve abandoned users when help is most needed. Emails go unanswered, and there’s no urgency or accountability in resolving issues.

Overall, it has been a very positive experience. The support from the HQ team has been excellent, and their assistance is almost always immediate, which makes a big difference in day-to-day operations.

Pros

What I like most is how easy it is to implement. In less than one week, we were able to learn how to use it and start implementing it in our business. It’s also a very flexible system, which adapts well to our operational needs.

Cons

I would like to have the option to use availability placeholders or “wildcards”, which would allow us to manage controlled overbooking in specific situations.

Implementation and training was good for preparing and switching over from our old program. Support continues to be fast and easy to get help with questions and additional training as necessary.

Pros

Very comprehensive as well as intuitive, with multiple ways to record, review and report bookings. HQ helps keep our enterprise organized and trouble free.

Cons

Really nothing. The hardest thing is that is so much more detailed and comprehensive than our old software that it just takes some time to use all its capabilities.

Pros

Good, solid, customizable software. Support team is very responsive and helpful.

Cons

Though the monthly subscription cost is reasonable, the initial setup cost is very high.

Excellent system and support team with many options for integrations.

Pros

Initially unsure about using the software as I had local options however am now confident I made the right choice. I still have a few minor items to work through but am becoming more confident with the system. The support system is great. We started renting straight away with a professional integration and system with our website. I was given a mentor for setting up - \[sensitive content hidden\] - who has answered many questions and provided detailed training. He is very knowledgeable and will go our of his way to assist. I needed assistance on many items initially which wasn't an issue for the team. I was given multiple options to assist me learn the system including zoom meetings, step by step videos and handbook. They consistently follow up and check in which was helpful.

Cons

\- GST options for Au - but team have worked around as far as possible - Would like to integrate with Verizon -24/7 support via phone would make it 10/10 but have been able to work around most times - would be happy to pay for this option - Still integrating some payments but this is being updated

It has been a positive experience and the software has improved our efficiency and optimised our business. Our assigned success agent is professional, approachable,solutions-driven and always willing to jump on a call when needed. The investment has been worth it, however the lack of an integrated online payment platform is a shortcoming I hope gets resolved for our country soon.

Pros

The professional support during the implementation made the transition to the new software easy. Frequency of training and follow up calls were just right and enable smooth implementation.

Cons

There have been a few glitches in the backend that have not yet been resolved. Work-arounds have been provided so we have been able to continue with ease, however our expectation was for these issues to be solved.

He is extremely knowledgeable and knows the system inside and out. I have not had an issue or concern that he didn't have a solution for. I apprecite his support. I would be remissed if I didn't mention how thankful and appreciative of others like \[sensitive content hidden\] and the software intregration team. They are a very special group of people. My hat is off to them as well.

Pros

I like most that software is very user friendly, the number of other critical components that can be intregrated into it but, what I "LIKE THE MOST" is its price.

Cons

The softeware lack of functionality in regards to some sections of the rental agreement and portions of Quickbooks. HQ Rental Software is unable to mapp in customer's deposit.

Though customizable, the settings seem to be all over the place and difficult to navigate through. This makes it quite difficult to adjust simple things that would otherwise be considered straightforward.
