It was difficult to manage because we could not add or remove reservations unless someone was in the office by the calendar, and if it got damaged, we would have a lot of problems because all of our reservations would be lost. Since we started using HQ Rental Software our reservations can be managed from anywhere, and at any time. So far it has been great using the system. Now we have greater control over the reservation process, because we are able to see the status of each vehicle in the fleet, and make better decisions about assigning, and maintaining vehicles. Pros I love how the system is able to keep track of a reservation from start to finish. Once the information about a reservation is entered, all the calculations are automatically done. At the beginning of each day, we can see the vehicles to be rented, those to be returned on that day, and those that are still on rent. Cons At the beginning the system may seem a bit intimidating because there is a lot to learn. I have been so happy with HQ so far. Between the price (half of what I was paying before) and the functionality of the system, my work load has gone down and my rentals have gone up as the booking engine is better and it is easier for guests to book. Pros This software has fantastic funtionality. It can do everything needed for a well run car rental business, including a great online booking engine. I especially love the ease for the customer to book online and how it captures all the info I need from them. The system allows for near endless tweaks meaning I can set it up exactly how I want, including sending scheduled email and sms messages. This has been great for my car rental business as all of my vehicles are remote pick up so I have particular needs. Great Customer support. Cons Becuase the system can be so personally optimized, it is a big software. It takes time to learn. Out of all the softwares I have set up, this has probably taken me the longest to learn and remember where all the settings are. It does have a decent Help section which helps, but I think it could be improved for those who like to learn and do the set up themselves. I had purchased & attempted to implement Navotar, Rent Centric and Rentall unsuccessfully prior to hesitantly spend the time and money a 4th time with HQ after wasting so many months and money with the first 3 companies but I am so glad I did! Although HQ does have a lightly better rating in Capterra it is unbelievable how closely rated it is to the other 3, they deserve a far better rating. It's really incomparable, I am glad I have the insight and experience from the other 3 to know first hand how much better it is with the HQ software compared to Rentall, Navotar and Rentcentric. If only I could give them 10 stars! Their customer service and software engineers are the best, \[sensitive content hidden\] in particular has been answering my questions, implementing the many customizable options and functions available and teaching us how to use the system without fail. We use this on the cloud software for our rent a car company, and we are growing thanks, among other reasons, thanks to this solution. Pros There are a lot of things that like to us. First, is a solution tailored for rent a car niche, and really fits all our needs and more. The help desk team is great, ALWAYS answer to our requests and ALWAYS there is a solution for our needs, and in our native language, spanish. There is a great iphone app that we use for our daily job and is highly customizable. In only 1 week the solution was really adapted to our needs!. Is stable, reliable and the price is fair. Cons There are not major problems at all. Of course all can be improved, like the iphone app with more features, but until today fits our needs.
