### "Eleo is the best database, and at a very affordable price!"

I am not a "technical person" and the customer support at Eleo has been invaluable in my being able to comfortably use all the features available.

Pros

We have used Eleo for years for our international nonprofit organization. The customer support has been fantastic. Now that the 2.0 version has launched, all the new features have strengthened our donor relations and ability to collect important data. And all at a very affordable cost so we can direct our income to supporting humanitarian projects.

Cons

There are absolutely no complaints about Eleo. We are loyal customers. Over the years whenever there are questions, I received a personal response to help me.

### "Hard to beat Eleo"

Eleo has been a great tool for our organization for over 5 years now. We are a small nonprofit with 3 employees raising around half a million per year. I use other tools in conjunction like excel, and InDesign which is really easy to do by downloading csv's from Eleo. I have always been very satisfied with the customer service, finding them both helpful, pleasant, and prompt.

Pros

Eleo is hands down the best priced CRM and offers most of what the other CRMs offer at a quarter of the price. Integrating with our payment processor and website have been key. Being able to customize fields to collect specific information allows for great donor management. There is a great capacity for making reports customizable and being able to filter just the right information for your needs. The above and beyond customer service is extremely helpful and prompt.

Cons

In the past I have had issues with forms not functioning during high traffic times like of #GivingTuesday and have chosen to use another provider for this day. In fairness this was several years ago and we have not tried a high traffic day since. From time to time I have researched other CRM's as we grow because a member portal could be useful for our organization and is not offered in Eleo, but it is always just a headache and I discovered that other companies don't really offer anything more than Eleo and are a lot more money per month.

Overall, Eleo has been an indispensable tool for the Samaritan Bethany Foundation. It’s user-friendly, efficient, and has truly transformed the way we manage our operations.

Pros

The Eleo team is always responsive and offers outstanding support whenever I need it. They've been incredibly helpful in ensuring I get the most out of the platform and customizing it to meet our foundation’s unique needs. I especially appreciate the one-on-one training sessions, and I can always find a convenient time to connect.

Cons

The system doesn't support our letterhead template. While I can write the letter, I need to adjust my process to create the final product.

Pros

Customer service is great, and live individuals answer the phone right away and resolve your issues. The best customer service I've ever experienced.

Cons

Having to manually process donations. When an email is received about a donation, you have to go in and manually process it.

Professional. Easy to work with. Easy to problem solve (but there were few problems). No extraneous functionality.

Pros

Amazing customer service (real person). Economical. Does the job. Easily transferred to another organization when our contract with client changed. We did our due diligence to find a new donor database, and chose Eleo. We've worked with them for two years. I would recommend them to organizations that don't want complexity, drama, or extraneous functions. Five stars.

Cons

Pros

Using ELEO we are able to track donations, generate mailings and reports from one product. The Customer Support and training materials are superior. \[sensitive content hidden\], Client Support Specialist, has been our "Guardian Angel".

Cons

I have not encountered any "Cons". Any questions or items needing clarification are always addressed by training materials in the library or by one of the Customer Support team members.

There are a lot of great features but the processing speed is enough of an issue that I am researching other options.

Pros

You can do a lot like track donations, create event and donation pages and other links. You can export data.

Cons

It could be more user friendly, in my experience there have been several times when it has glitched and I've had to start over on what I was working on. The largest issue is that it is severely slow - like dial up in 1999 processing speed. I have tried it on different computers and my phone and it is extremely slow on all three. Other users from our organization have noted the same thing.I also wish their support was available more often.

Out of the 5 different donor management software we use across our organization, Eleo consistently ranks in the top 2 in terms of donor satisfaction with reports and communications from assigned team members. The online resources are also quite comprehensive and shortens our training times for volunteers during peak fundraising seasons.

Pros

The contact management system is really very responsive and comprehensive. Seamless flow of information throughout the system allows for real time updates of the activity history of each contact in our database. This makes it very easy to tailor outreach and relationship-nurturing efforts to each contact.

Cons

The pricing model could be broken down into several more subscription packages that allows more features the higher you go instead of just varying the number of records that can be processed per package type. For campaigns that yield much smaller individual contributions but not necessarily higher overall totals, this can be quite unbalanced.

Pros

I love that Eleo is all inclusive. Their payment play is not based on how much you use it but how many contacts you have. Even though we fit in the lowest price point we still get all the amazing features. Plus Eleo is constantly sending out information on how to use their program. Its almost as if it is unlocking new features every month. It general Eleo is very user friendly and intuitive.

Cons

My one complaint if I had to have one is that couples are only listed by one person's name and then the other is listed as a spouse. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] are listed as \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and spouse \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]. You can search \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] profile will appear, but you won't see \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] name until you open the donor profile.

Eleo helps us look better to our donors because we are doing a better job of donor relations. It has helped increase the amount we received from our current donor base.

Pros

We chose eleo because of its ability to keep track of couples with different last names. It keeps track of both informal and formal salutations, so our communications can be personalized appropriately. Best of all, the customer support staff at eleo truly wants us to be successful. They are very knowable, patient, and friendly.

Cons

Getting the mail merge working proved a challenge. Once the right settings were in place, the process has become fast and easy.

Simply sensational. Customer service is everything to me. And the Eleo team - from sales to support - has been supportive, caring, and dedicated to solving any issues I might have encountered.

Pros

I have been in fundraising more than 30 years and have used a variety of data base management programs. I have acquire "Professional User" status in one premier system and consider myself an expert on donor database management. I began using Eleo when I accepted this position and was immediately impressed with the ease with which I was able to learn the system, the basic functionalities and the interrelationships of the modules within the database. But far more importantly, Eleo is supported by a team of expert, caring professionals who go out of their way to help the User deal with issues, find solutions, and manage their data in the best possible manner to effectively execute fundraising plans. Every member of the Eleo support team has been fantastic, courteous, and helpful! Also, Eleo also offers webinars to assist their clients improve their fundraising skills and subsequently fundraising goals!

Cons

Every database has its limitations, but Eleo's team has worked diligently to assist me overcome any type of obstacle or data tracking impediment I might have encountered - even historical data issues. If anything, I would love to see the Tasks module broadened for increased use of tracking actions and next steps.

Once we had our data loaded from our previous software group, it was straightforward to go in and customize reports and data. The customer service we have had to utilize has been beneficial in presenting options and solutions. As we are growing our operations, we find that we are also starting to use other functions within the program to assist us with efficiency.

Pros

The transition from our previous software was quick and easy. First, I did not worry about losing information with Eleo. Second, there are not many features provided that we would never use.

Cons

I have not found any part of the system that I do not think works well.

I'm finally able to see who my active members are, who has expired, who needs to be contacted, all with a few clicks of a button. We've had a database for years, but the real key to managing a database is to KNOW the data that's held within it. Eleo is helping us get to know our members and contacts more deeply than we did before.

Pros

What attracted our organization most to Eleo is how much bang you can get for your buck. This software has a lot of the same features as larger, more expensive CRM tools, but without the years-long contractual agreements, and with way more affordable pricing for a small/mid-sized non-profit like us. So far, Eleo has really delivered. We finally have a system in place for strategically reaching out to membership and generating the reports we need to analyze our success. I can't wait to see how far we can go with Eleo.

Cons

Integrations with different website platforms is somewhat lacking. For example, embedded forms don't seem to work well with WIX. Also, I'd really like to have membership sign-up forms as an option. However, Eleo's excellent team has helped us find solutions and work-arounds so far for every shortcoming.

Eleo is not only a great piece of software and capabilities but every time I call I get to talk to a live person that listens and addresses my needs. Even the ones I should have addressed myself with their awesome online help section.

Pros

Everything was very simple and easy to get started including the option for historical data to be loaded in. Eleo has so much more to offer as we grow and expand the mission and we have only scratched the surface with over 10k donors in our system.

Cons

Nothing truly makes me think about not liking anything in Eleo. It is an awesome product.

### "I Highly Recommend Eleo"

We had another donor management program that met our needs for years, until they decided to "simplify", and then they weren't meeting our needs. Our consultant said many of their customers were using Eleo, so we decided to take the plunge. Onboarding was easy once I got my end set up, and it's been pretty intuitive to use. The library has been amazing. The only problem with it is keeping up with, say, PayPal's upgrades changing menu locations. No one can keep up with all that instantly. Again, friendly customer service saves the day!

Pros

What I like most about Eleo is the customer service. Face it, nothing is perfect. But when I run into any issue, I know I can call and a friendly voice will be on the line in moments to help me figure it out with a great attitude. And if they can't figure it out, they get a tech on the line right away. Also, the Home page is great for the bosses, they can get a fast, comprehensive picture of where we stand.

Cons

There have been a couple of issues here and there, but nothing that makes our organizaions grind to a halt. And I'm confident that my suggestions have been added to the list.

Pros

So far it has been easy to learn and easy to use. The library is full of downloadable instruction modules and videos. Support by telephone has been stellar.

Cons

That there isn’t an event category for selling tickets to a concert. All registrations for events on Eleo are put into the gift category. In the music world ticket sales to an event (a concert) are not donations or gifts. Yet, those who purchase the tickets can potentially become donors. Keeping track of ticket sales on a donor database would be helpful in fundraising activities.

### "Very happy with ELEO"

As a smaller non-profit, we needed a CRM that was user-friendly and did not require a degree in computer science. The software program we moved from started making decisions about software and more importantly payment processing systems that simply did not work for our smaller organization. Even though we had to make a transition to ELEO, it has been very beneficial due to the simplicity of the software and the support included.

Pros

As a smaller nonprofit, we moved from a more expensive CRM to ELEO, which has saved our foundation a significant amount of money over the past few years. Despite being less expensive than our former CRM, all of our needs have been met and the software is easy to use. One area that is most impressive is the responsiveness of the support team. ELEO helped us with our transition that went very smoothly, and they continue to offer prompt and helpful solutions to any questions we may have. We are very happy with our decision to move to ELEO!

Cons

I would like to be able to copy event forms from year to year, but I have been told that is a new feature they are working on.

### "Best bang for your donor's buck"

A former volunteer of mine tipped me off to Eleo. Talking with the customer support at Eleo is what convinced me that the move was the right thing for my nonprofit to do. The Eleo team had my database up and running in less than two weeks. This was easily one of the best management decisions I've made this year. It saved me over $3,000 per year and didn't take a PhD in database management to start using it immediately. Do yourself a favor and get yourself an Eleo subscription as soon as possible! You won't regret it!

Pros

Eleo was the solution that I was looking for! Prior to my arrival, my organization had been upsold and contracted into a software that was way overpriced, overly complex to use and had features that our organization would not likely every use. I switched to Eleo within my first three months at The Literacy Council... and it was one of the absolute best decisions that I could have made. Eleo is a breeze to work with! It's value is beyond belief. It's easy to use for my staff. It comes with all of the features that I could ask for in a donor management system... and at a fraction of the cost of my previous provider... and the customer support will knock your socks off! The people at Eleo are kind, friendly and super helpful and supportive. Eleo has saved me thousands of dollars a year and has helped me raise even more than they have saved me. I couldn't endorse this company more if I tried.

Cons

The only con that I have encountered with Eleo so far... is that we didn't get started on it sooner! Especially for a small nonprofit like ours... this feature rich and affordable donor management software is the best that I've come across in over 30 years of working in the nonprofit sector.
