The staff, support team, and trainers with Eleo are very good, excellent. Pros Eleo is attractive for a small nonprofit that I run. The system was easy to set up and the interface is intuitive. I've been using it mostly for event management. I like the simple integration with MailChimp. The training, support, and online resources are outstanding. Cons I would like to see a capability added to copy event registration forms. Reason for choosing Eleo The decision was a close call. Eleo is located near my organization and several of their clients are involved with work similar to the mission of my organization. I am very happy with my decision. Review Source EH Eileen H. March 19, 2019 4.0 Eleo will allow us to more quickly manage donation data (to tie donations to specific fundraising campaigns) - we used to just use a spreadsheet to track donations for this purpose. It will also allow us to more fluidly build and manage mailing lists for invitations, appeals and events. This was previously a very painstaking manual process, using a combination of financial software data, Excel, and many rounds of review and edits. The help/library feature built into Eleo is very good; even so, I have encountered a few glitches and/or challenges while setting up and test-reporting using our data in Eleo. In all cases, Eleo customer service was incredibly responsive and have been able to resolve my issues quickly and efficiently! Pros Eleo is very easy to learn to use, and so far has proven very flexible in its reporting options so we can slice & dice data as we need/want. Cons I can't batch-enter donations, which would be a nice feature to save time during periods of high-volume giving. Also, the Relationships feature could be more robust so that we can more easily (and quickly) connect individuals to employers/organizations and/or family members. March 18, 2019 5.0 Eleo has been a very good choice for our non-profit. Once the information base was in the system, it has proven to be an efficient and time-saving way of tracking our gifts to this organization. Pros Eleo is easy to use and has all the information so easily accessable. The thing I like most about this software is the availability of the information for each contributor. I glean information from the contact info as I record the current gift. This saves me time and makes the statistics more accurate. Cons The only thing I wish was a bit different, is that I wish we could add a couple of specific information tidbits to each contributor's gift (I.e. who the gift is in memory of). We have found ways to make this work, but it is a little more cumbersome. Review Source LR Linda R. I would recommend this software to any nonprofit. Pros Out of the box implementation is great! Reports that most nonprofits commonly used are included - no more queries and report exports! Eleo also tracks volunteers and events. An added plus is that the software integrates with MailChimp and Constant Contact so you can track your email marketing within the system. Also integrates with DonorSearch for a great price. Online forms are easy to set up as well. I recommend this software to all my nonprofit clients who are looking for easier donor tracking. Cons For some - it can be hard to give up the report customization found in larger software (Raiser's Edge) but really do you need all that customization? We can now easily access our data for the information we need." March 7, 2018 5.0 Pros Easy to use for entry and it is organized in a way that makes sense. We have donors and members. We can easily see where each stands and process new members and renewals. Easy to create letters and integrate for email communication. Provides lots of reports and each report can be filtered for what one needs. Customer support is friendly and efficient. Cons The software does what it is suppose to. March 8, 2019 5.0 I've been using Eleo now for almost five months for our non-profit and I am so thankful for how this company helps us with donor management! Pros The customer service has to be the #1 thing I love about Eleo. If I could give more than five stars, I would! They are always so kind on the phone or in email, even when I am frazzled, and they are incredible quick to help me with whatever challenge I am facing. We've used Eleo for not only donor management, but fundraising registration and management and both have been a lifesaver in keeping track of so much information! Eleo made sending receipts, end of the year statements, and thank yous a breeze and keeps me on track with our donors. Plus, it's a great price for our small non-profit! Cons It took me a little bit of time to learn the software, but custome service was completely available and very easy to work with. Any time I had trouble figuring something out, one quick email or phone call had it sorted out almost immediately! Review Source AJ P. They have the best customer service around, and I can easily speak with a person or get a quick email response if I have an issue! Definitely recommend. Pros Eleo is very affordable, especially for a small nonprofit like us! They always have the best customer service. If I ever have an issue, I hear back within the hour with the help I need and also tutorials! Cons Eleo works best on Google Chrome. I prefer to use Mozilla firefox, so this is my biggest con; however, it is an easy fix and not a problem to work around! From all appearances, Eleo is going to work very well for us, and has several features that will enhance our capabilities to engage with donors and prospects. Pros Very flexible and customizable. The system has been adapted to our unique needs very well. The Help resources are comprehensive and very useful. Eleo support has been great to work with during the data import and implementation process. Security Permissions are outstanding! Cons The system runs a bit slow, even on my very robust Dell Optiplex desktop computer. But we're talking two second sometimes two or three second response as opposed to one second. I don't thing it's going to hurt productivity at all. Reason for choosing Eleo It has the best array of features and support to match the needs of our organization. Review Source DB Diane B. Pros The software is intuitive, not a huge learning curve which is a plus. The best thing about ELEO is that I can call support and speak to a live person. February 25, 2018 5.0 The software let us organize and share our data. Instead of having data in many different systems and spreadsheets we now have the information we need in one online place. Our communication has improved also due to the integration with Mail Chimp and the ability to create list and print labels. We can even create lists and send it to Avery Labels for various creative print jobs. Pros The software is easy to use and the screens are organized well. Easy data entry screens. Pros As someone who is new to donor management software, I have relied heavily on Eleo's internal support team (and the multitude of learning tools they provide) to guide me through the complexities of donor and fundraising management. From a pure customer service standpoint, they sit atop my list of vendors over a career that spans thirty years. Cons I have yet to encounter an issue I would label as a "con." February 18, 2019 4.0 This has helped us track and utilize our donors much more efficiently, it is easy to generate reports, receipts, and letters which lets us communicate better and faster with donors. Pros It is easy to use and integrates well with other programs we use like Constant Contact. Support is also very quick to respond and is always helpful. For the price, it is a terrific system with a simple design. Cons As it is a more simple system, there is some functionalities left to be desired. September 9, 2020 5.0 When I was hired, our non-profit's records were scattered. Our organization has been run for years on heart and a desire to do good. We were in desperate need to improve our professionalism. Eleo was heaven sent. My job was to make consolidate all of the donor records and the donations from the last five years. Thanks to Eleo's inexpensive software, we have all our donor, volunteer, staff and board information in one place. The report function makes it easy to share information with board members or staff who are not tech savvy. We are still working on making our organization more professional, but we know we have our donor information safely organized because of Eleo. Pros Eleo is extremely user friendly. Entering donor information is intuitive and easy. Every time I find a new use for Eleo, it is very easy for me to figure out the process. Cons There is not a lot that I haven't liked. There are a few times that I wished there was a video in the library while learning a new function, but the downloadable written instructions were enough. Review Source Fern S. February 27, 2018 5.0 Organized my donor base by population served, allowed me to restrict funds to programs and the reports generated are amazing. I was able to provide the company with excel spreadsheets and they imported my data. Pros It is easy to navigate, it can be used with minimal training and when you are unsure you can call, you do not get an answering machine, they answer the phone and can provide you with help whenever needed. Customer service has been extremely helpful with our transition and helping us update our accounts. Pros We switched from a different software and was pleased how easy this software is to navigate. If you do run into a question it is easy to get help with either customer service or the help icon. Cons Unfortunately, we can not align our fiscal year to our Eleo account. Ours runs July 1- June 30. The system runs on January 1 - December 31. Also, unable to use logos in letter templates. A bit of a challenge to link MS Word letters to accounts. Any questions or confusion I have, there are great resources available, still confused - call your support team and they will help you. I love the integration with Stripe and Constant Contact, and Canva. Online forms for donations and registrations are easy to streamline everything. Pros ELEO incorporates multiple areas of non-profit management. From how information is input, reports that can be pulled, integrating with online donation, email marketing, and event management. A lot of it is intuitive but there is plenty of information in the knowledge base. The integrations to Constant Contact, Stripe and QuickBooks were essential for us. Their support is outstanding! I get a very quick response and they are always willing to answer questions. I don't feel like I"m lost in a call center. Cons I haven't found anything yet. Again easy to use and they ensure you are set up for success! Pros I love this software because it's easy to use. It also has a lot of functionality. Additionally, there are user guides in the system. They have weekly trainings. You can also schedule your own personal training. What I like most is the personal touch. They reach out to you and you can always get a hold of someone. Cons There is nothing. I don't have any complaints!
