For me, Zoom is more than just a video conferencing platform—it has been part of some very important milestones in my personal and Pros When I was preparing for my Physiotherapy Competency Exam in Canada, Zoom became a very important part of my life. During the final stages of my preparation, I joined a mentorship program where about 10 students attended classes through Zoom. Our mentor would ask questions directly during the sessions, and it felt very similar to being in a real classroom. Knowing that my teacher could see me and might call on me at any time pushed me to prepare better. I would often stay up late studying because I wanted to be ready to answer questions in front of the whole class. I honestly feel that without Zoom and the direct interaction with my mentor and classmates, I might not have been as motivated or disciplined in my preparation. Zoom also played a role in helping me get my current job. My interview for a hospital position was conducted through Zoom, and I was selected for the role.
