During the final stages of my preparation, I joined a mentorship program where about 10 students attended classes through Zoom. Our mentor would ask questions directly during the sessions, and it felt very similar to being in a real classroom. Knowing that my teacher could see me and might call on me at any time pushed me to prepare better. I would often stay up late studying because I wanted to be ready to answer questions in front of the whole class. I honestly feel that without Zoom and the direct interaction with my mentor and classmates, I might not have been as motivated or disciplined in my preparation. Zoom also played a role in helping me get my current job. My interview for a hospital position was conducted through Zoom, and I was selected for the role. We have successfully hosted many webinars with Zoom and never faced issues with video, audio or audience interaction. Pros It's a very good platform for hosting webinars and virtual events, or video conferencing with a very large number of participants. If you have a stable internet connection, Zoom offers exceptional video and audio quality. Customisable registration, ticketing, in-event chat, live polling and Q&A makes it a very versatile application. Cons It's a bit expensive. If you have 100+ participants the cost goes up further.
