Pros: The software system itself does a lot. It's a full service inspection software and CRM in one. I considered options such as Tap Inspect and others but they didn't have all the tools Spectora does. I would've ended up paying more and using two separate companies to do everything that Spectora can do as one organization.

Cons: The software can be manipulated in the app but it's not as easy or intuitive as TapInspect. However, Tap doesn't offer as many manipulations as Spectora. The trade off is this - do you want something you can easily easily alter in the field or do you want something that serves ALL of your needs. With Spectora you can manipulate your report in the field but the easiest way to do it is from the computer. I prefer the one that allows more features. Don't get me wrong, their app is awesome and allows me to complete the report port in the field very easily. It's the altering (adding or removing) of the template I am referring to.

Overall: Spectora as a team is unmatched. Period. Before I choose to go with Spectora I reached out to them with a question and received a reply the same day. We then set up a phone call for Christmas Eve to talk through my questions. From the website build to the launch they answered every question I threw at them and were willing to help out in any way they can. They helped me set up GSuite and then switched the domain for me when I changed my mind on which to use (they were able to make this change, I think, because it had been only a day since the initial set up) but the fact that they were willing to try spoke volumes! Bottom line, I have high standards for customer service - these guys blew those standards out of the water! I cannot say enough good things about them. The inspection software is strong, the app is strong, their websites are awesome, and their team of service minded individuals leaves everyone else in the dust. Don't take it from me, call them!

Pros: Easy to set up and begin using it right out of the box. Templates are available to fit your basic needs and then you can easily build upon them to customize your reporting. So simple to use compared to other inspection software systems, the learning curve is very short. Customer Service is also a high point, with help being available almost instantly. The team at Spectora goes out of their way to help their customers which is a huge selling point. Did I mention the reports look great? Did I mention they look nothing like any other software generated report in the industry? How about a few clicks from the agent and they can generate a repair request for negotiations which includes pricing? Seriously the new features that keep rolling out every month on Spectora are incredible! I do not think the folks at Spectora ever sleep.

Cons: Cost. It is not cheap. However, it is the Cadillac so I expect it will not be cheap. Matter of fact, I am not a cheap inspector, so why would I use cheap software? Though pricey, it has been worth its weight in gold. You get what you pay for. A great product and fantastic support come with a cost.

Overall: Nothing short of amazing. I was reluctant at first, thinking this was just way too radical of a change. Worried about feedback from agents and customers. Within the first two weeks, I flushed those concerns down the drain. Nothing but positive feedback. I was so happy with the software that I decided to give them a try for building a new website. This experience was over the top, with the representatives constantly communicating through the entire process. The site looks wonderful and I am anxious to see where the future leads with everything Spectora!

Pros: I like the ability to edit templates with ease, copy from one template to another, and copy a section(s) within a report to another section of the report. All done with relative ease. I like the scroll down layout in reporting. The overall scheduler and inspection details on front end as well as invoice system, sending of inspection agreement as well as automatic generation of emails and many other features are huge time savers. The tracking system and database features are critical in having information stored and easily accessible. Most importantly, even though I have always produced well written and thorough narrative reports, the software is allowing me to go from good reports to great reports, because I am saving time and reinvesting that time to producing ever higher quality, detailed reports.

Cons: The software is probably the most expensive software on the market; however, I believe ultimately you get what you pay for. I tell this very same thing to potential clients who are looking for the least costly Inspector. Hence, I best not be the pot calling the kettle black. On occasion, I have some technical issues with the software, but customer support is always quick to pounce on issues especially if it's an anomaly or possible bug on their end. My only concern at this juncture with the software is that they have many inspectors that want many different changes. In my opinion, this could lead to additional development issues or bugs as they keep playing with the software while perhaps the software doesn't have other issues resolved.

Overall: Previously it was a time consuming to do multiple tasks via different methods to schedule an inspection, so the ability to do pretty much do everything from one access point is a stellar business advantage. I am looking forward to growing in my skills with using Spectora to become fully mobile. In general, I have had a positive experience in using Spectora.

Pros: The "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" concept makes it super user-friendly which means the learning curve is very low compared to the other "competitive" software out there.

The software also incorporates lots of top-notch abilities such as drag-and-drop sections, comments, etc., in-app image editing, video embedding and last but not least, the ability to Report on-site using your mobile device WITHOUT using data, you just upload to the cloud using Wifi or data whenever you're finished.

I can't express enough how impressed I am with the boys over at Spectora, their customer service and response to our requests for new features and customisation happens lightning fast and their commitment to producing a game-changing software in less than 12 months has allowed them to enter a market dominated by VERY outdated programs and literally knock all the other BIG players out of the game.

Spectora is THE next generation of Home Inspection Reporting software!

Overall: This software has allowed me to significantly increase my volume of inspections, while at the same time the quality of my Reports hasn't suffered at all, in fact in some ways they have improved compared to my custom reports that I have been using for the past 6 years.

My clients and Realtors alike are all enjoying the new Reports and have nothing but great things to say about how they are VERY easy to read, yet they have an abundance of valuable information which has helped them make smart decisions when looking to purchase the property they had us inspect.

Pros: The experience of using the Spectora app in the field makes home inspecting a breeze, and leaves very little work to be done tidying up the report afterwards, if any at all. The report templates are highly customization and make for easy tweaking to enhance speed and usability in the field. The finished product is a beautiful, scalable, web based report that looks good on computers, phones, and tablets, with the option of producing a PDF file right on the page. I receive many compliments about how professional the reports look. Their entire system has many options for automating many business related emails, helping clients sign agreements and pay with just a few clicks right from an automated email sent out after booking. They have integrated well with google and apple calendars, making integration with my schedule very easy. On top of all that, their customer service is quick, smart, and enjoyable to work with. Everyone that works for this company right now loves what they do and are always working hard to make it a better product, and a better experience for users.

Cons: I struggle to find anything about Spectora I don't like. Any issues I've ever had have been so quickly resolved, or have been items that the company continues to enhance, that they cease to be problems.

Pros: I have been in the inspection business for more than 30 years and have been using my own proprietary report system. It was flexible and versatile but did not allow for pictures to be inserted where I wanted them to be so I started a search for a new program. I tried the demo version of every one on the market but could not find one that I felt would provide the quality reporting I wanted. Then I found Spectora.

It was exactly what I needed. It is flexible, fast, and allows me to change and add on the fly. The photo integration works perfectly. I have been using for approximately one year and am happy I made the move. The hardest part of using this program is getting your head around how much you can do with it. It allows you to create different types of reports for different applications. It's a joy to use. . If you have a question, the staff responds quickly to help you. I do me quickly. Usually within minutes.

It's hard to admit, but this is a better report that the one I had created years ago.

Cons: There is no overall spell checker in the program.

Spectora has helped make my dream a reality! I can not thank them enough! They knew what I didn't!

Pros: The software is very user friendly and is the complete package. Spectora has put a lot of thought and effort into making it easier for the inspector as well as putting together a report that clients and their agents love. But what I discovered starting out and trying to build a new business from the ground up is that Spectora is more than just a software company. It was never doing an inspection that concerned me, it was how was I going to be able to set this all up and keep it all organized? Then I found out about Spectora. Cus, reps. came in and did a presentation for us. I left there and went and sat and processed what they said. It was then that I realized Spectora and their Jumpstart package was exactly what my business needed. I came home and signed up that night. I sent them a message and to my surprise they responded back immediately! They walked me through the process and were very professional and personable. Designed my website and I could not be happier about it. It is better than I ever imagined. Helped get it going live and setting up my Google My Business and Yelp accounts. They have handled all the stuff I didn't know how to do and let me concentrate on what I did know about the business. For that I can never thank them enough! Spectora truly has helped my dream become a reality!

Cons: I can not think of anything negative about the software or Spectora. They have not only delivered on what they said they would do, I feel they have gone above that. For that I commend them.

Pros: As a "newer" Inspector I was able to select from a vast array of Inspection software. Some older guys probably found it hard to make a switch because they were using the initial inspection software on the market. Spectora, like me, understands that UI is one of the best things to give to our clients. I've heard great feedback from clients and agents alike. Some have even brought me into their Agency because they're so enamoured with the overall view and interaction with my reports.

Cons: As a sole inspector, it does everything I need it to do right now. The only real "issue" I have is at which point the pre-inspection report builds. So I have to change a fee or a date I have to manually change the legal document.

Overall: I've been with spectora and I'll stick with them. They're constantly trying to improve and become better. Moving forward is what healthy companies do. They continue to hire more people to assist with communication and they do a damn good job of getting to me when I have an issue in the field - just use the right channels!

Pros: I researched several other programs and Spectora initially stood out to me because the reports have a look and "feel" that are more modern and up to date in appearance and navigation. As a new inspector, I chose Spectora because of its ease of use and the top notch customer support they offer. The set up has been incredibly easy and even though I am new, I will produce reports that show a level of competency to match tenured inspectors. The templates are easy to navigate and build and I can even make changes, mid inspection, if needed. I can also see that I will, very quickly, be able to produce a finished report as I walk out the door of an inspection. That will save me time and money.

Cons: So far, I can honestly say there are very few issues that I would say I don't like. Every home inspector runs his/her business differently. It would be impossible to come out with a program that would be perfect for everyone. Spectora has a lot of flexibility in its setup to meet individual needs. I am quickly learning that most of what I think are issues actually have a quick and easy customizable feature that makes the program a good fit for me. Spectora also utilizes a couple of different platforms where they stay engaged with their customers and are constantly working to improve the program based on recommendations they receive. That tells me that this program will never seem "out of date" and will constantly keep up with our changing world.

Pros: Too much to list! but the active software is ideal for multi inspector firms, or single inspectors with multiple devices such as phone, tablet, laptop and desktop. The software has been constantly upgraded based on customer feedback. This is the most Modern and advanced software we have used ever. Repair Request feature has been a big hit with clients. The ease of modifications to our templates is a huge benefit. the ability to apply video as well as photos. the categories and limitations have been very useful in producing a repair that is not overly harsh but still conveys all concerns

Cons: Newer platform so there are some bugs that come up from time to time. and they do not have 360 photo/video integration

Overall: This has allowed us to more quickly expand as a multi inspector firm. Better quality control as the office can view and modify reports in real time while the inspector is in the field and review the report prior to the inspector leaving in case there is a flag that was noted.

The easiest most intuitive navigation of any inspection software I've ever used.

Pros: I used it for two weeks to make sure it was as good as I hoped. It wasn't- it was better! I chose not to import my own observations, I just added them to the existing template as they came up. After 2 weeks I was pretty efficient and a good working library/database. I held a one hour office meeting to roll it out to the other inspectors and by the end of their second week we were all thrilled with the ease of use, the ability to modify both the report and the template as needed (or not!), the intuitive navigation and lastly the quality of the output. All of our inspectors have gained back up to one hour per inspection into their lives. I love this because they are more willing to do another inspection in a given day, they love this because at the end of the day- its really the end of the day. Gone are the days of heading back to the office to write an hour long (each) report. We've all gained capacity, our quality has gone up and we've moved to a better work/life balance. Win win win!

Cons: I'm not going to make something up just to fill this box. I really don't have a complaint... maybe in a perfect world when proof reading I could "edit on the fly" instead of toggling back and forth between the preview/publish and the edit environments.

Overall: Improved quality, improved report delivery speed (on site), improved work life balance for my self and my inspectors, happier RE agents. Truly the solution that we've been looking for, for years.

Pros: The software is easy to use. It works great on a computer, iPad, phone or whatever device your using. If you ever have a question or need help figuring something out, the customer support is the best I have ever experienced. They really go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of.

Cons: I can't really think of much. The only the only real thing I would like is for a call center to work directly in Spectora instead of having to sync with another program like ISN. I understand they are working with Simple solutions right now to make that happen. That's what's great about a company like Spectora, they actually listen to their customers and work to provide what they want.

Overall: It's been really great. There are a lot of software programs out there for home inspectors. I looked at quite a few before deciding to go with Spectora. I've never regretted it, in fact the longer I have been with them the happier I have been.

Pros: When I went looking for a software program to launch my home inspection business there were a lot of options to choose from. After reviewing the field I narrowed my search to four, two older and two newer. At first it was difficult to determine which program was going to work for me. Did I want price, ease of use or a quality product to weight my final decision? It wasn't until I began to actually work with each program that I quickly came to realize Spectora was going to fulfill each of those categories superbly. As a new inspector, I have found the learning curve has to be surprisingly short. The program is intuitive, the finished product is polished and the support is incredibly personal. Perhaps what I like most is knowing that I am part of something that is being built from the ground up with inspectors in mind. New features are added with direct input from users and the online forum that is very supportive. This program is not hype, it's solid performance, with lots more to come.

Overall: The initial con for me was the price. I was hesitant to commit to a monthly fee vs a one time purchase. Six months in, have to say, what was a con for me initially has become one of it's strongest pros. You really do get what you pay for in this life and with Spectora the value is there, hands down. I feel as if my monthly payment is providing my buisness with a dynamic product that adds value almost weekly with its upgrades and product support.

Pros: that I have been a customer for over a year but never used the software. I moved over to Spectora a little over 2 weeks ago full time and it has drastically improved my quality of life.



What I mean by this is that I no longer spend 2-3 hours a night writing reports using Home Gauge. I am basically done in the field and spend maybe 15 minutes per inspection at the office. THANK YOU!

Cons: I would like the ability to add fields to the New Inspection template as well as the Scheduling Template.

Overall: There are two things that stand out to me: Customer Service and Adaptability. The Spectora Team, every single member that I have had the pleasure of speaking with is quick to respond and more importantly resolve any issues I may have (learning curve, functionality, etc). They make their prodcut available across all platforms, co-equally without preference to OS (desktop, mobile and web). Their product simply works better than any on the market today.

Pros: The integration of scheduling, payment options, customer retention automation and customer service.

Cons: I wish it was FREE lol. However, the value I receive in exchange for the monthly payment I think I can handle it.

Overall: Often times we get into business not knowing everything there is to know. This is called discovery. But when discovery turns into full blown "Had I known about this I would have..." it takes away from your ability to make money. What I like about Spectora is that it addresses so many of the "had I known's" it has allowed me to seamlessly integrate payment options for my customers, track my marketing efforts, track my profits, track my appointments and even take a look back at my progress which helps me with benchmarking what's working and what needs to be surgically removed from my daily operations. The customer service and tech support is amazing and the team at Spectora has really made me feel like my business is "Valued". The operations side of navigating the platform is pretty awesome too- and when my customers get there reports they usually say they're impressed. Agents are sending me more business and when we do hit a snag it's addressed in a timely fashion and smoothed out. Spectora has made my business into a superstar and I'm crushing the competition. It's the edge I needed.

Recommendations to other buyers: The initial templates are basic. Learning to customize templates for inspections or creating new ones from scratch is very simple. This is a great platform if you're interested in growing your business.

Pros: I can do the whole inspection on the phone. Being able to make a customizable template for each application and add on the fly is awesome. I wasn't prepared for the growth organically getting sellers agents to jump over I've had to hire more guys. I get top inspectors that want to work for me because the software is so easy to use.

Cons: Makes it easy for agents to leave their long time inspector and they didn't warn me of explosive growth . That it's different and realtors love it.

Overall: Learning how to work with Spectora and no expectations, I've learned to work with it and found it Very easy. I pay monthly and yearly worth every penny. They are always adding features and value all the time!

Pros: I love that I can customize my templates depending on what services my client needs. I can easily set up the requirements ahead of time, and then when another client needs the same services I can just click on the template and there's no time wasted. I can just get to the inspection and get the work done. My clients love the easy to read reports and the fact that they get pictures and videos helps them understand the situation.

Cons: It seems that every time I find something that is a little off it's fixed in the next update. The customer service is outstanding and the response time is so fast.

Overall: Spectora minimizes my report writing time by allowing me to input data in the field while I'm inspecting, giving me more accurate reports and saving me from having to input the same data multiple times. It's accessible on my phone and my computer, so I can schedule and check on reports and inspections anywhere I go. I know that Spectora will stay with my company as I grow, and will give my employees better service and oversight in the future. Thank you!

Pros: The software is easy to use and the reports look great. All of the information is easy to find when you need it, and it conveys the information to the client in a format that they are more familiar with. People would rather read a web based report than print out a hard copy. Spectora allows you to link to DIY pages or other info, and simply takes the home inspection report to the digital age.

Customer reps are fantastic at what they do. Their responsiveness, attention to detail and commitment to their product, instill confidence that they can take this to the top of the market, and will succeed at this rate.

Cons: Occasional bugs early on, but customer reps are very responsive and address most bugs immediately.

Overall: Great feedback from realtors and clients. Very easy to read and navigate. I also love the management side of the software, scheduling inspections, sending out emails and agreements.

Cons: My personal inabilities of not using all the benefits that Spectora offers.

Overall: Time saving. I have used three other big name software companies before I was lucky enough to cross paths with Spectora. With other software platforms I thought that only basic tools were available to write my home inspection reports. Super time consuming with editing my verbiage for the defects and photos. With Spectora I do it on the fly, right then. When I take a photo of a defect Spectora allows me to circle or arrow the defect, identify were it is and move on. I can do an inspection and have most of it done by the time I leave the inspection. Instead of hours of time spent on editing and sending off the inspections to the agents and clients. I spend a fraction of time with Spectora. My customers have mentioned in their thank you email back to me that their agent commented to them that their inspection report was the best they have ever seen. That means more inspections for my business, which translates to more money made. I say this about Spectora: If you want to upgrade your business start using Spetora now. Smart, Fast, and Affordable. I am getting better each day because of Spectora's software and their outstanding customer service. They have been there nearly instantly every time I had a question. When you know you have the best software, it shows in your business confidence. How much is that worth?

Pros: The things I like most about the software are as follows. The report presentation on both HTML and PDF is fantastic. The software is both an app and web based so I can tweak my template on my desktop but complete the inspections in the field. The template allows me to include pictures so I don't have to add those later. It supports video and location tagging. It helps me track what has been completed and what still needs to be done. The agents like the reports because they have the ability to easily pull a repair requests. The different categories make it clear and simple to differentiate between a serious issue and a maintenance issue.

Cons: It would help me out if there was a way I could start a finding with just a photo and then come back later. I know that the idea is to complete the report onsite, but sometimes the homes are in such bad shape that completing the report onsite just isn't possible when you've a full day scheduled. Having this ability would keep me from having to pull all the pictures in from my phone later. Because when you get on a house like that with time constraints, taking pictures is all you have time for.

Overall: Speed and amazing presentation! It has taken my reports to the next level!

Pros: I have used software from three competing companies, two of them being the most "common" in the industry, and in my opinion nothing comes close to putting out a cleaner, easier to read report. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my "finished product" (being the report), and Spectora has allowed me to up my game and provide a little "Wow" factor. Realtors look over hundreds of reports, setting yourself apart with a clean, easy to read, and technologically advanced report...will grow your business, if you're taking care of other facets of your business.

On top of that you have the Developers; customer support, who are there for you immediately if you need any assistance or have suggestions. You can tell they are passionate about what they do, so the future of this software is only going to get better with more feature.

As of now, the software is meeting all of my needs and saving me time on report writing. All of the needed features are here; default pics, locations, etc.

Cons: Nothing substantial that I have found so far. Overall speed in the app and software could be improved, but it is not bad by no means.

Overall: Decreased report writing time, better looking report presentation!

Pros: Spectora has been one of the best decisions for my home inspection business. It does everything I need. Auto email, scheduling, payment process with lower rates then any processor, great software, great app(that works flawlessly on iOS), and amazing customer support. The most amazing thing is they listen to inspectors feedback and build features that the mass want. Not just focusing on things they think we need. I highly recomend spectora to any inspector!

Cons: I don't know what to write here. At anytime an issue arises they have a chat bubble that you can click on and speak with any one of the team to help resolve issues. This is on the app, mobile, and website.

Pros: This is a full business solution package for home inspection services, not just Reporting software. I love the flexibility in setting up Templates, payments, scheduling, Agreements, Standards of Practice, automated emails, and metrics! The mobile app on my phone is a HUGE GAMECHANGER!

Cons: Although there are some basic templates to get you started, (unless I missed them somewhere), the comment library is pretty basic and there are not a lot of comments for deficiencies, defects, etc. I spent A LOT of time setting up my Templates and adding in a tremendous amount of pre-typed comments so that I can select from them and so that they would be a reminder for me of things to check while inspecting.

Overall: Being able to actually work on the Inspection Report live as I am doing an Inspection is revolutionary. I love being able to take pictures, edit/notate them, and drop them right into the report as I am doing the inspection - it is a massive time saver over my previous software and method of doing my inspections. The automated emails for appointment scheduling/re-scheduling, reminders, report notifications, and follow-ups with customers and Agents is a great benefit as well! Giving my customers the convenience to pay online, accept online Agreement(s), and get their Invoice(s) makes my company look fantastic and modern.

Pros: Having used several different softwares, Spectora is by far the easiest to use hands down. They stay ahead of the market with cutting-edge functions that today's clients appreciate.

Cons: While the APP is fantastic, I feel that it lacks some of the more important features of the HTML version. Improvements have been made and I'm sure that it will evolve further as the company grows. Ideally, I would prefer to use the APP only and not need to do anything through the HTML version.

Overall: As with any technology based company, there will be bugs and glitches. It is how said company handles the issues that sets them apart from the rest. The Spectora team has exceeded my expectations with problem solving and customer support.

Pros: Visual pleasing

Online schedule and payment features

Cons: There are so many limitations with Spectora, for example they restrict your video size where other companies allow you to record video for as long as you want. No integration with homebinder or Nxt.

They are expensive vs the competition.

Support for multi inspections is limited and syncing is with other inspectors is buggy. We lose data many times, where we have had zero issues with other software programs.

Custom built websites are over priced and just cookie cutter rehashes off each other. Just a few minor tweakes and graphics. Look like all the other home inspector websites out there.

SEO services are limited and don't do much.

Customer support answers quickly but the follow up is weak.

We're always prioritizing integrations based on requests and these 2 haven't had much!

We are definitely the premium option - the feedback and our reviews tell us it's well worth it to attract and retain modern agents and clients.

Most Wordpress sites cost 1-5k, so we're reasonably priced. Sites are sometimes limited by the inspectors content.

We lose money on SEO services since we offer so much and charge 1/4 of what agency's charge so let me know what you mean on this one.

Pros: Ok I'm going to break it down

Customer support: the key to any business is having support /communication from your software companies. I get excellent response from spectora, with dedicated people who make great efforts of going above and beyond their means to make sure my success.

Product: SPECTORA SAVED MY BUSINESS. As home inspector we have a lot of things we note. Responsiveness is most important along with easy navigation in the software is so important to us. I've tried multiple softwares and spectora is elite of them all.

Overall: if you are a home inspector and looking for a quick, uniformed, professionally, responsive inspection report. Look no further. Spectora is light years ahead of all those other inspection reports and blows HG, Inspector1, axium, etc... out of the water.

Overall: My clients are happy with the uniformed reports and love the simplicity of it and also allows me too CC the real estate agent as well it's the perfect software for a home inspector I really cannot begin to tell you how this software saved my company in so many ways it's unbelievable what spectora has done for my business

Pros: We have used several of the other big name softwares on the market. Spectora by far has been the best and easiest to use. We have many real estate agents complement us on the new look at the report and they love how simple it is to understand. The customer service with Spectora has been phenomenal they are quick to fix things and respond to questions we have. With three different inspectors in our company Spectora has been a huge timesaver and has eliminated many of the issues and headaches we used to have. This software has made on site reporting a reality.

Cons: Though they are working on it as we speak so I am sure this won't be a con for long. The scheduling system needs some tweaking.

Overall: The biggest thing we got back was time.

Pros: It gives a professional and engaging experience to the client, while allowing me to inspect more efficiently and thoroughly.

Cons: Hmmm. Well, like I said I actually really love the software. But, I guess if I had to provide one "con" it would be (fairly specific to me I assume) - I have a 13 year old son that I take on inspections, and I would love to give him access to the app without having to pay for another license. He's not an "employee" really, and he's never inspecting on his own. But if he could enter pic./items in the report while I'm doing the same with another phone, this would be sweeeeet.

Overall: It's really helped my inspecting biz. I don't even use all the options, but plan to soon. Like Agreements, and Scheduling. It's great! Keep up the good work!

Pros: Probably what drew me to this software more than anything was the look and feel of the final product which is presented to the client. When all is said and done, that is really what we're selling people.

Cons: It crashes sometimes under heavy use. The frequency has diminished overtime. Partially on the developers and in partially because I've learned ways to avoid it.

Overall: It's been great! As soon as it's logistically possible, I plan to run my entire business through the services they offer. Currently I use the inspection software and their SEO and web services.

Pros: I have been inspecting since 1999 and have over 13,000 inspections performed. I have been looking for a program like this, have tried several programs out. Pros: Ease of use and it is so customizable... Publishing on site along with the addition of videos into the report and the repair request Builder makes this the best software on the market hands down.

Cons: Because it is so customizable it can take awhile to get it dialed in to where you wanted to be. But once you're there you will never be happier.

Pros: The software is awesome. Once you get your template set, it is great. Not much of a learning curve. Love the automation emails and texts. And service is super fast and these guys really care about the end user (me) Report - my agents love these reports compared to my competitors. Save me tons of time compared to my old software.

Pros: This software is something I recieve regular compliments on from clients and agents alike. It is easy for everyone to navigate and understand, the automation of all of the admin is seamless - agreements and payments, emails, texts, reports... all of it!

Then, on top of that, there's the staff! They ARE customer service.

Cons: I cannot access everything on my phone like I can from the computer. More accessability would be great!

I wanted to resend a published inspection from my phone, but the system said it was an incomplete report (97%) and could not send. I was unable to find the missing data in the report..

Pros: It is ever changing, for some this may be a turn off but such a major and important tool in a home inspection business that is growing with me is invaluable.

Cons: Some of the business metrics and capabilities are lacking but they have shown improvement recently and there is more improvement in the pipeline it appears.

Overall: We are able to produce better inspection reports which at the end of the day, is the only piece of tangible content they are left with. We are a service industry and the longest lasting impressions are generally from a product, the report is out product. We are also able to produce this "better" report faster, in teams, with more customization, which gives us "better" results.

Pros: The thing I like most about Spectora is their customer service! It is top notch! The software itself is phenomenal! Very easy to use, tons of features that are actually usable, extremely customizeable (if that's even a word) and the reports are beautiful! I could go on and on!

Cons: The thing I like least about Spectora is that this software didn't come out 20 years ago! Lol!

Overall: My experience so far has been great! I own a multi-inspector firm and to be honest I was a little worried about switching report writing software and having to have my guys learn a new platform. We bought everyone brand new iPhone Xr's and loaded the app, gave them to the guys and they were putting together well written, thorough and beautiful reports after performing a handful of mock reports. We customized the template to mirror our template from our old software as much as possible to make their transition easier. So far, so good, all my guys are loving the change and are completing reports on site and now have their lives back, which was the main reason I wanted to start using Spectora. FYI: we switched from HomeGuage.

Hands down the best software I have tried! Been using for a year now, excellent!

Pros: Works flawlessly on both mobile and computer. Professional looking reports and very user friendly. Scheduling, inspection notifications emailed automatically, billing and invoicing, maps all in one package.

Cons: There is really not much negative I can think of. It is a touch pricey, but well worth the expense..

Pros: Constant updates to improve the software both proactively and in response to users requests. A clear and professional report that realtors and customers love. I feel once I have finished all of my customizations and have been inspecting longer I will be able to leave the home with 90% of the report completed and have only to review and add some details.

Cons: It is difficult to provide cons as any problems or issues experienced are quickly addressed by the staff. There is the occasional glitch or issue, but it is quickly fixed.

Overall: Amazing home inspection report software that makes my job in reporting the condition of a home to the buyer easy. It provides a very clear presentation to the customer and realtor with realtor friendly recommendations interface. It also provides easy online payment interface that I use seamlessly with my financial institution. Customers and realtors are extremely happy with the resulting report.

The Spectora staff is very responsive to all suggestions users have and they are constantly (almost daily) improving the software.

Pros: I have looked at virtually every other home inspection software available on the market for the last two years finding not one suitable to replace the program I have used for 20 years. Spectora gives me a sleek modern look, integrates photos into the report, and is easily editable. I can adapt it to my methods and procedure rather than having to adapt my procedure to it. It is very comprehensive in the entire process from booking to follow-up. Great support and support staff.

Cons: Very little. There are some flow issues with the report writing that I wish I could edit, but you can't have everything.

Overall: I desperately needed to upgrade my software. I really did not want to do it. My experience with Spectora has been as great as any major change can be. I would have preferred to have the same features in my old software. That is the only way this experience could have been better. The more I use it, the easier and better it gets.

Pros: The software is incredibly easy to use and making changes in the template, capturing photos/video, and sending to clients is as easy as a click through the app.

Instead of releasing updates every 6 months or longer like most Inspection software companies Spectora releases updated as often as every few days.

Cons: I would like to see an auto delay option allowing me to choose to have a report held and auto sent 2,4,6 hours after I publish it. If I need to make an edit before the delay I could jump back in the report prior to delivery.

Pros: This may seem odd, but it's the owners of the company. Michael and Kevin are incredible and are on the move! They are extremely responsive to the needs of their users and implement suggestions at an incredible rate. They have, and continue to expand the most comprehensive and modern inspection software out there. My advise to the old players in this market is WATCH OUT ;)

Cons: Literally nothing, the speed that they innovate and adapt to the needs of their users makes any con I place here obsolete.

Pros: This is the most current and easy to use software for our industry. It is the cleanest and most professional delivery of a report I have yet observed. I was paying more for my office management software than I am for both the home inspection and the office management portion combined through Spectora.

Cons: You obviously do not own the software so there is the residual cost involved in utilizing a their product. The benefits that I have found definitely outweigh the inconvenience of that monthly fee though.

Pros: This software is AMAZING! The customer service is on point!

Cons: I'm not really seeing anything. I would like the option for yellow annotations for pictures.

But you have to admit if that's my biggest con, that's pretty great!

Overall: I feel that Spectora is listening to their customer's ideas and if these ideas are capable of being done and would benefit us as a whole the get right on them. I haven't seen once where they have wasted time with an upgrade that wasn't beneficial, in one way or another. Some of the things they work into the program we didn't even know would be helpful.
