### "Gold Standard for the Home Inspection Industry"

I've used 4 inspection software apps in the field, and I've evaluated 2 more, and nothing comes close to Spectora. It is truly the industry standard for home inspection software. The presentation to the client, the viewability, the flow, the integrations with third party service, synchronization from the mobile app, it is as close to flawless as a program can come. The AI support feature, Fin, answers 99% of my questions, or helps me learn the software better. The templates are customizable. It is truly the gold standard for the industry, and nothing else comes close.

Pros

Customizable, Easy to Learn, Easy to Understand, Affordable, Great value for the money, automation, excellent synchronization between desktop and mobile app, easy to use in the field, magnificent presentation to client. The AI is out of this world good.

Cons

I've had two things go wrong in the several months I've used Spectora, and they were quickly addressed by the support staff.

### "Repeat business and automation"

So far so good I think they need to work on their AI capabilities a little bit but other than that, Agents seemed to really like Spectora and the biggest thing is repeat business from that. Also automated emails and text messages so you don’t have to remember to do it for me. That’s the biggest thing.

Pros

Key thing I’ve noticed is the repeat business I’ve been getting from agents after they see a report from Spectora. Also the automation options email and texts makes the job 10 times easier.

Cons

Biggest thing were recently is they try to invoke this non-optional deal where they were advertising add-ons to customersthat they had to fall back on. They caved into some public pressure then went back now. You can opt out of it.

### "Erosion has been observed!"

Solid to great until about 18 months ago. Lag times in customer service became and remain common. Don't bother trying to get timely assistance on the weekend if you're working.

Pros

Excellent format and presentation. Flexibility to manage the system and responses as desired in almost every case.

Cons

They have sold out to corporate interests and plan to sell our clients information and pull referral monies away from the agents that represent our clients in the process. Fixle is a poor word and an even worse option to pass along to the people doing the work. The fact Fixle was initially required gives many of us a real concern to think about, even if the pushed that back. Our company has begun shopping around for other solutions and anticipate a likely move in the future.

### "Do not recommend until Fixle is gone!"

Fixle is the problem! Spectora is pushing fixle on our customers that we worked hard to generate in order to sale 3rd party services to our customers. There is no opt out for feature which is a huge problem. The software is good, but the, pushing services on us will end Spectora fast which is too bad. I’m looking into Hive as my new software provider n

The software is probably one of the best in the industry. However, them pushing their agenda on us recently with the fixle debacle is gonna cause me to switch companies.

Cons

Spectora starting to push their own agenda on our customers. They’ve added fixle which is a way for them to make more money off of our hard work. They are using our customer base to advertise to them without the ability to opt out of their advertisement. It gives the impression That we are supporting their 3rd party partners, which we do not! This pushing of their rhetoric will ultimately be their downfall, and I would highly suggest you don’t use them until they have an opt out feature for fixle

A+++++++ system. I LOVE every aspect of the system. The mobile V10 system is awesome with no latency ever!

Pros

I like EVERYTHING about Spectora! If your using other programs...just try Spectora. Great customer service AND the AI generated help system...answers all your questions VERY easily. Literally...not need to call...but if you do...they are quick to answer! Also, the AI generated descriptions for defects on a job are outstanding!

Cons

Nothing to say here...really. The software is great. The support is awesome. Discount for paying yearly and they are always staying ahead.

Pros

Spectora Software has made my life as a home inspector so much easier and made my business more streamlined. Before I had to do every individual email, inspection agreement form, and payment individually and by hand. This software and company are extremely user friendly and they have step by step instructions for everything.

Cons

The only couple of cons I have for Spectora are the fees. If a person wants to use automatic banking transfers, I have to pay the fee. Also if someone cancels an appointment after they paid I have to pay their cc fee back to them.

Fantastic. My clients are extremely happy about the format. The comments typically made reflect that it is easy to understand the report and access the reference photos

Pros

Easy access and easy alterations options. Fantastic support. Allows full operation in the field using the iPad or iPhone

Cons

Few more videos regarding the options/ education could be made. Some conflict appears to be occurring when trying to put iPhone camera on the wide angle. Easily overcome when used to it, however this glitch could be addressed

Extremely disappointing! !

Pros

The level or support provided to ramp up my use of the tool has been very impressive. The automated AI support as well as human support has been far more than sufficient.

Cons

I absolutely abhor the integration of biometrics into the payments portion of the tool. I have provided more than enough high quality PII (Personally Identifiable Information) to substantiate my ID and find the use of biometrics to be wholly unnecessary. Consumers really need to push back on the ever increasing use of biometric and smartphone technology to engage the marketplace. This is not China and I refuse to coalesce to allow surveillance to become a requisite of the American marketplace. If the ID "verification" I encountered cannot be remedied, I will be requesting a full refund of my one-year subscription.

More costly than some alternatives with the occasional glitches requiring re- installation of software (which is rare).

### "Loved by clients and inspectors alike"

I can run my entire business through Spectora. Clients can schedule their own inspection on my website using spectoras widget, I can take payments, have agreements signed, upsell ancillary services, send followup emails/texts, ask for reviews. Everything is handled thru Spectora.

Pros

The BEST inspection software out there. Beautiful well designed reports, intuitive to operate on the back end and my clients LOVE the ease of use

Cons

They've had some growing pains, but they are always available for assistance and their customer service is 2nd to none.

### "No Clients Viewing Control"

Spectora has good customer service and great pictures. The report writing is easy for in the field work. The customer service try's to help but is limited do to the software design. Your requested changes to the software get sent to die some where in the cloud. Probably just a way to pacify the users. Customer call backs on how to use the system is very time consuming for our office staff. The customer confusion is the worst of part of using this software.

Pros

The picture and video quality of the delivery to clients is beautiful to read. The summary page is nice. The online view separates the legal mumbo jumbo so the customer can actually read the report that we type.

Cons

The inspector is in control of the in the field software but has no control on what the clients sees on there end. It like sending your report to a 3party website that you have no control over how the client gets to see things. There is no control over what your clients sees when sending info to clients, such as payments how to view the report. When the report is delivered customers cant find the report with all the extra menu items. The customers are confused with TO DO, Task, Documents. People are always calling our office on trying to figure out how to pay or sign the contract or even to find the report when we sent it to them. There is no way to send the report to another email in the software just clients and agents. So if contractors need the report to bid the job you have to try to copy and paste a link in your personal email to send it. Finding past jobs is difficult there is no search bar

Overall, I have really enjoyed using the software.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use and produces clean and easy to read reports. It also has lots of nice features for customizing things and is a fantastic all in one service for running my business. It has saved me tons of time on inspections and report writing.

Cons

I don't like porch as a company and I found the time it took to produce the quality of report I liked took me way too long on the computer. I wanted a software with a mobile app that could produce the entire report without needing to finalize anything on the computer.

Pros

Spectora is INCREDIBLY AMAZING. We love this platform and do not intend to switch. We receive so many calls to try out another software, but you guys are too awesome to even consider going with another company! Keep up the great work!

Cons

At times there is a small delay when choosing the photos from the gallery. Not a huge deal, just have to wait for the screen to "blink" then select the photos. It's like a 2-4 second lag.

It's been really fantastic. Quick and easy to learn. The software is highly editable to my needs and the product I'm looking to deliver. The support from Spectora is wonderful and they have an excellent team. The end product is something I've gotten countless compliments on. Well done! Pros

Ease of onsite use as an inspector. Super clean and organized reports for clients and agents. Fantastic support across the board (website, software, marketing). Customizable template that I can customize as I perform inspections.

Cons

They have so much to offer, my only complaint is I have to take more time to learn what's available. There are as many customizable tools and templates as you can think of.

Customer service is terrible, very apologetic but absolutely no solutions to any of the most recent issues. Spectora WAS the best but sadly not anymore time to move on to the next best.

Pros

V9 was not perfect but good enough to make an average inspection go by smoothly.

Cons

V10 was a disaster this should have been tested properly before launch. One to many issues that make the once easy inspection process into a nightmare.

Ease of use and gave me my evenings back. Should have used this software years ago. The fact that it has the Texas template on the app is a big plus for me

One of my favorite aspects of Spectora is the report design itself. The clean layout and modern appearance make it easy for clients to read and understand the findings, which has significantly improved client satisfaction. The ability to integrate templates and checklists has also helped streamline my workflow, saving me a lot of time without compromising thoroughness. Additionally, the scheduling and client communication features have simplified managing my business, helping me stay organized and provide top-notch customer service.

Pros

Great inspection software providing tools to grow your business. Easily customizable templates. Works great on mobile as well.

Cons

I would like to be able to expand the Map feature at the frontpage, to see a broad view of the inspection locations.

The apps CONTINUE TO CRASH WHICH MAKES ME HAVE TO SPEND MORE TIME COMPLETING THE REPORT
