Excellent. I pay a high price for their software but in return I get a solid software that does nearly everything I need it to.

Pros

It does everything for my business, report writer, revenue tracking, mileage tracking, emailing, texting, it’s customizable, and it’s easy to navigate for my clients and myself.

Cons

The price, I do feel the price scheme for basic vs advanced is set up to ensure they profit as much as possible. It is also the most expensive software available at any level or price point. For that reason alone, I have been trialing other softwares.

Spectora is INCREDIBLY AMAZING. We love this platform and do not intend to switch. We receive so many calls to try out another software, but you guys are too awesome to even consider going with another company! Keep up the great work!

Cons

At times there is a small delay when choosing the photos from the gallery. Not a huge deal, just have to wait for the screen to "blink" then select the photos. It's like a 2-4 second lag.

Ease of onsite use as an inspector. Super clean and organized reports for clients and agents. Fantastic support across the board (website, software, marketing). Customizable template that I can customize as I perform inspections.

Cons

They have so much to offer, my only complaint is I have to take more time to learn what's available. There are as many customizable tools and templates as you can think of.

Pros

The software is intuitive and easy to navigate. It can go deep if you want it to, which I love all the options available. Customers are always impressed with the final product, they have the best looking reports out there.

Cons

Customer service has been responsive but I rarely get results. They are quick to answer but then no follow-up and most things never get resolved. I'm still having issues that are going on for months now. I hate that everything is via chat bubbles and no easy way to just talk to someone in person. So I took a point off for that but really it would be 3.5 stars

It's easy to use and efficient. It is as organized or disorganized as you want it to be. This makes a large difference for home inspectors.

Cons

I can't get anyone for support on the phone. Sometimes there are issues that can't be solved over a chat bubble.

They are the best, I've tried all others with the same claims and Spectora delivers the most value t cost ratio.

Cons

Their response time and efforts to fix software issues. Sometimes I feel like a number and I effing hate that!

Spectora is a great software. I would recommend it to any one in the home insection business. My reports stand out compared to other software i have used in the past.

I wouldn't want to be a home inspector without it. I tried other software programs and they were too slow and the reports didn't look nearly as nice, and they didn't handle payments or automated emailing or scheduling. Spectora does everything I need to run a home inspection business profitably and professionally.

Pros

Professional and easy to use and fast. I can do reports, scheduling, quotes, and automated emailing. And the GUI looks great for me and for my clients.

Cons

I would have to be very picky to list something here considering how much I can do with Spectora. The only Con is that its not free, however I consider it reasonably priced and necessary to do this job properly.

Very easy to modify the reports to your needs! I also use it to coordinate with my termite, mold, and speciality inspectors!

Pros

My primary like for Spectora is the customer service team. When I reach out I feel like they are a friend helping me vs a business. They joke with me and talk about plans and food ideas and even ask about plans or where my next inspection is. Second like is how Spectora is very versatile. I can write the report on the fly with the new V10 or simply take pictures and write the report at home.

Cons

I dislike that the payment company is limited to just one company. In other platforms it allows you to link to a couple different processors.

We can load lots of pics, help center is great when someone is around. Cant talk to a human in evenings or weekends

Cons

Its horrible. Crashing issues for years now. Deletes comment, crashes constantly, always errors. Makes you not want to do your job most days due to frustration

Monthly cost of $99 is well worth it. Spectora allows you to be efficient. The reports looks so good to the client.

Amazing. Someone is always there to answer a questions. They have a few meetings with you to go over the software and walk you through everything

Pros

Everything, scheduling, the report writing, payment, contracts. Everything is ran through spectora and has given me my life back. I used to inspect homes take pictures and come home to write the reports. Often times late into the night. Now 90 % of my report is done on site. I love it and wish i switched earlier. I used to use home gauge web writer.

Cons

That my home gauge templet / Comments were unable to be uploaded due to the use of web writer on home gauge. I has to go section by section and copy and past everything

When I started using Spectora almost 5 years ago the customer service and communication were second to none. As the company has grown I feel less valued and that the focus of Spectora has been on growing the company (likely to sell) rather than taking care of and providing the best product/service for inspectors.

Pros

Integration of scheduling and payment set them apart in the inspection software industry. Visual layout of reports is second to none.

Cons

Constant changes/new, unnecessary features while basic, necessary features need work/improvement. Did not stand up for users when settling with ReportHost, costing users money and time.

Reason for choosing Spectora

InspectIT was cumbersome, visually unattractive and did not offer the automated features of Spectora.

I am well pleased with this product and very happy I chose to go with Spectora as my inspection software. The realtors I work with on a regular basis love the reports and how easy to read they are.

Pros

Can use on my phone, tablet, and pc with them all being synced together. Love being able to use video and it is embedded in the report automatically. The reports are very modern, clean, and easy to read for clients and realtors. The user interface is very intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

Videos only capture 30 seconds of each recording. The app will crash in the field and you will need to close it and reopen it to continue. Not a major issue, just more of an inconvenience.
