### "Repeat business and automation"

So far so good I think they need to work on their AI capabilities a little bit but other than that, Agents seemed to really like and the biggest thing is repeat business from that. Also automated emails and text messages so you don’t have to remember to do it for me. That’s the biggest thing.

Pros

Key thing I’ve noticed is the repeat business I’ve been getting from agents after they see a report from . Also the automation options email and texts makes the job 10 times easier.

Cons

Biggest thing were recently is they try to invoke this non-optional deal where they were advertising add-ons to customersthat they had to fall back on. They caved into some public pressure then went back now. You can opt out of it.

### "Best Inspection software"

My overall experience has been great. The software works really well and the support that I get from their customer service staff is excellent. Anytime that I have had a question then they immediately helped me to get it resolved.

Pros

I really like for the scheduling, report writing and marketing to help me grow my Inspection business.

Cons

There’s really very little that I am not happy with, but since I have to put something here then I suppose the price could be a little bit lower. However, you get what you pay for and I really like the software for my Inspection business.

### "Doubles your work not your productivity"

Using this program has added hours to my inspection time. In order to make it through a report in a reasonable amount of time, I have limited how many inspections I can take a week.

Pros

Thought really hard and long and the only thing I can think of is the programs ability to pull address information to get a fairly accurate assessment of the home.

Cons

The 30 minute wait to load the report in order to edit a report prior to publishing. Losing photos between the app on my phone and the website. Photos repeatedly fail to load into comments or load a black picture. Consistently fails to accurately log my work hours, I have to keep a separate tracker.

### "I will never switch"

They make it so easy to not even consider other software. It really is a 110% complete system with support and integration. Even us old guys just starting can do this.

Pros

I have only ever used in my inspection business. I have nothing to compare it to and have no desire to compare it to anything. I have felt welcomed and appreciated since day 1. They keep regular contact with me supporting my growth as a very new inspector and walk me through the process. The upfront costs were not difficult and the software is easy to use. They take questions from users and turn them into changes to update the software. I feel secure using their platform and look forward to continuing this growth. For the record, my business is 5 months old. They truly are holding my hand to get me up and running and I cannot appreciate them enough.

Cons

The templates in the beginning were too generic, and I have to do ongoing tweaking to get them where I need it for my business. They are much better now.

Great product, I love it. has integrated for me what was a multiple step process during each inspection into a simple two step process to complete and publish an inspection. This saves a considerable amount of time during the day and makes the process more accurate and trouble free. The customer support team is also excellent. A few weeks ago when the software had a bug I had a response from the online team within minutes and a solution within the hour. This eliminated what could have been a stressful situation. Cheers to them.

Pros

Very simple and comprehensive graphical interface. Previously I was using Horizon, which was my first experience with an online inspection product. While I did like the product I have found to be a much simpler user interface and it is saving me time with every inspection I do.

Cons

Having to add frequently used comments ( defects over and over again). I would like to have a means to save comments that I write in a reusable library.

It is hands-down the most user-friendly software I've used and it produces outstanding results every time! The support team is the best anywhere and set the standard for customer service!!

The experience has been a very good one. Constantly making upgrades and are always available for questions you may have. And there are actual persons involved not just Bots

Pros

Spector can be tailored to the way you would like to set up your report. It also looks professional no matter your level.

Cons

Sometimes Spector goes down which can be frustrating however it usually doesn't last long and they keep you informed of what the issues are. Sometimes they have to the shut the system down for updates but that's usually in the middle of the night and they give you plenty of warning.

The mobile app is fast, customizable, and makes report writing efficient without sacrificing detail. clients consistently compliment the clarity of the reports, and the automation tools save a huge amount of time. The support staff is incredible and responds quickly, which makes a big difference when you're in the field. I highly recommend to any inspector who wants to work smarter and deliver quality reports.

The support staff is by far the best that could be out there. Hands down! They are always happy to help and with the greatest of attitudes. No matter what time of day!

There are still glitches in the ipad mobile app; however, the pro's far out way the issues. is constantly working hard to eliminate them.

I've been a user of for over 5 years and my overall experience has been awesome, easy and this software fits my company needs!

Pros

offers user friendly options for reporting and information. Spectora frequently updates its software for better integration and clarity.

Cons

I wish there were an option to switch language for Hispanic/Espaniol clients. I I were able to complete a report and then have the option to switch the language to meet the needs of my clients or to make the report reading smoother for bi lingual clients.

has the best support team ever! Every time I reach out with a question they are quick to answer, solve all of my issues and are super fun to engage with. You can tell they love their job.

Pros

is by far the easiest home inspection program to use. After testing nearly all major Inspection software Spectora was leaps and bounds better than the rest. Easy to use. Incredible customer service. Completely adjustable. It saves me hours and hours of report writing.

Cons

I actually don’t have any cons about . Every time I can’t figure something out, I open the chat bubble, and I have an answer immediately.

Excellent. I pay a high price for their software but in return I get a solid software that does nearly everything I need it to.

Pros

It does everything for my business, report writer, revenue tracking, mileage tracking, emailing, texting, it’s customizable, and it’s easy to navigate for my clients and myself.

Cons

The price, I do feel the price scheme for basic vs advanced is set up to ensure they profit as much as possible. It is also the most expensive software available at any level or price point. For that reason alone, I have been trialing other softwares.

They have so much to offer, my only complaint is I have to take more time to learn what's available. There are as many customizable tools and templates as you can think of.

Pros

The software is intuitive and easy to navigate. It can go deep if you want it to, which I love all the options available. Customers are always impressed with the final product, they have the best looking reports out there.

Cons

Customer service has been responsive but I rarely get results. They are quick to answer but then no follow-up and most things never get resolved. I'm still having issues that are going on for months now. I hate that everything is via chat bubbles and no easy way to just talk to someone in person. So I took a point off for that but really it would be 3.5 stars

### "A pretty solid inspection software "

My overall experience with has been great. As a single-operator home inspection company, it’s important to have as much help as possible, and the Spectora app really delivers. From setting up appointments to keeping all my inspections organized and on a calendar, it makes a big difference. It keeps me efficient and focused on the job.

Pros

I love the ease of use and if I need help setting anything up the support team is very prompt and knowledgeable to help.

Cons

Maybe cost. Scrolling back and forth to diffrent sections to fill out report. For example you would have to back out from the exterior section to access the interior section. I use the search feature to allow me to move through the app quicker.

I wouldn't want to be a home inspector without it. I tried other software programs and they were too slow and the reports didn't look nearly as nice, and they didn't handle payments or automated emailing or scheduling. does everything I need to run a home inspection business profitably and professionally.

Pros

Professional and easy to use and fast. I can do reports, scheduling, quotes, and automated emailing. And the GUI looks great for me and for my clients.

Cons

I would have to be very picky to list something here considering how much I can do with . The only Con is that its not free, however I consider it reasonably priced and necessary to do this job properly.

### "Reports Made Easy"

Very easy to modify the reports to your needs! I also use it to coordinate with my termite, mold, and speciality inspectors!

Pros

My primary like for is the customer service team. When I reach out I feel like they are a friend helping me vs a business. They joke with me and talk about plans and food ideas and even ask about plans or where my next inspection is. Second like is how Spectora is very versatile. I can write the report on the fly with the new V10 or simply take pictures and write the report at home.

Cons

I dislike that the payment company is limited to just one company. In other platforms it allows you to link to a couple different processors.

Customer service is terrible, very apologetic but absolutely no solutions to any of the most recent issues. WAS the best but sadly not anymore time to move on to the next best.

Pros

V9 was not perfect but good enough to make an average inspection go by smoothly.

Cons

V10 was a disaster this should have been tested properly before launch. One to many issues that make the once easy inspection process into a nightmare.

### "Run, find another software"

They fix one thing and 10 more things get worse

Pros

We can load lots of pics, help center is great when someone is around. Cant talk to a human in evenings or weekends

Cons

Its horrible. Crashing issues for years now. Deletes comment, crashes constantly, always errors. Makes you not want to do your job most days due to frustration
