One of my favorite aspects of Spectora is the report design itself. The clean layout and modern appearance make it easy for clients to read and understand the findings, which has significantly improved client satisfaction. The ability to integrate templates and checklists has also helped streamline my workflow, saving me a lot of time without compromising thoroughness. Additionally, the scheduling and client communication features have simplified managing my business, helping me stay organized and provide top-notch customer service.

Pros

Great inspection software providing tools to grow your business. Easily customizable templates. Works great on mobile as well.

Cons

I would like to be able to expand the Map feature at the frontpage, to see a broad view of the inspection locations.

Pros

Picture oriented, easy to follow. Clients love the reporting format. In fact many agents come to us because of our reporting system.

Cons

At times we get glitches in the field during our reporting on inspections while we are using multiple inspectors.

Spectora has allowed me to start a new inspection business and focus on getting new customers not struggling with the day to day paperwork grind. Spectora is such a complete package you can sign up for the software and be in business the next week. I thought I was going to have multiple software platforms to run my company but Spectora does most of what I need. A+++

Pros

It is the main tool I use to run my business. It handles all of my day to day needs (scheduling, billing, automated emailing, and inspection writing). It has saved me hours of time in front of my computer.

Cons

Nothing so far. It really is great software.

A+ I have no regrets choosing this for my reporting platform.

Pros

Spectora is an all-in-one solution for home inspectors. It includes scheduling, management of pre-inspection agreements, invoice creation, payment processing, and of course, the best-in-class cloud-based reporting platform.

Cons

I knew this before getting into it, but it does take an investment of time to learn the system and figure out how to do everything. But, Spectora support has been great to help me along!

I haven’t got anything else to compare it to, as I’ve only used Spectora since becoming an inspector.

Pros

The ease in which the software can be navigated once you get past the learning curve!

Cons

Continually having to refresh the report for it to download correctly. I might have to reload or close down the app multiple times before it’s displayed correctly.

So easy to use but bit of a set up for your own business. Never goes down and ant question is answered immediately

Spectora has good customer service and great pictures. The report writing is easy for in the field work. The customer service try's to help but is limited do to the software design. Your requested changes to the software get sent to die some where in the cloud. Probably just a way to pacify the users. Customer call backs on how to use the system is very time consuming for our office staff. The customer confusion is the worst of part of using this software.

Pros

The picture and video quality of the delivery to clients is beautiful to read. The summary page is nice. The online view separates the legal mumbo jumbo so the customer can actually read the report that we type.

Cons

The inspector is in control of the in the field software but has no control on what the clients sees on there end. It like sending your report to a 3party website that you have no control over how the client gets to see things. There is no control over what your clients sees when sending info to clients, such as payments how to view the report. When the report is delivered customers cant find the report with all the extra menu items. The customers are confused with TO DO, Task, Documents. People are always calling our office on trying to figure out how to pay or sign the contract or even to find the report when we sent it to them. There is no way to send the report to another email in the software just clients and agents. So if contractors need the report to bid the job you have to try to copy and paste a link in your personal email to send it. Finding past jobs is difficult there is no search bar

I have very few cons. Overall the I love the software and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Pros

It is very easy to use for the client and inspector.

Cons

That the software can't be tailored to each inspector individually. When settings are set they are for all inspectors. For example, the availability setting can't be different per inspector.

Overall, I have really enjoyed using the software.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use and produces clean and easy to read reports. It also has lots of nice features for customizing things and is a fantastic all in one service for running my business. It has saved me tons of time on inspections and report writing.

Cons

I don't like that when I take a cover photo in the app on site, when I upload the report to the cloud and review it on my desktop, it replaces the photo I took with the the software originally provided. I would like to see this resolved.

I love everything about Spectora! Especially their customer service in the bubble or via email. I love that they take suggestion on how to help us inspectors to become more efficient.

Sometimes there will be some glitches or app freezes but they are easily fixed.

I really have no complaints about this software, and the customer service is exceptional.

Pros

Very easy to use. Reports look very professional. The backend has great automation and integrated features, like Stripe for accepting credit card payments while also offering alternative methods of payment. Amazing customer service - even their bot does a great job day or night! Scheduling is simple and integrates easily with my website using the provided widget code.

Cons

My only complaint is not having dark mode. I found a workaround using a dark mode extension on Chrome, but it's not perfect. The price point is a bit high, but after trying other home inspection software companies, I can truly say you get what you pay for.

Spectora has been a blessing to my business. With the automation of scheduling the business has become more professional in appearance and procedure. The business has become more profitable with automated upselling messages that go out with scheduling confirmation.

Pros

This software is an all in one reporting and scheduling suite. It is good, it works good, looks good ... and customer service is great.

Cons

There are a few glitches in the software that pop up from time to time. I would prioritize fixing the problems and odd spots in the software, over developing new features.

It had a similar feel to what I had been using before. However, over time it has become so much more than what I had before.
