I really have no complaints about this software, and the customer service is exceptional.

Pros

Very easy to use. Reports look very professional. The backend has great automation and integrated features, like Stripe for accepting credit card payments while also offering alternative methods of payment. Amazing customer service - even their bot does a great job day or night! Scheduling is simple and integrates easily with my website using the provided widget code.

Cons

My only complaint is not having dark mode. I found a workaround using a dark mode extension on Chrome, but it's not perfect. The price point is a bit high, but after trying other home inspection software companies, I can truly say you get what you pay for.

My overall experience is great and I truly appreciate the ease of use and template and reporting features. It also makes payments easy and secure.

Pros

I enjoy the process that has been made easy on my Desktop and Mobile app. I enjoy the ability to edit my templates and build new Templates from scratch. The reporting part is easy.

Cons

I don't like paying extra to edit the txt message that is going to my customers when a booking is complete. The current txt message is confusing to my clients I would enjoy the ability to personalize that for my Company.

has been a blessing to my business. With the automation of scheduling the business has become more professional in appearance and procedure. The business has become more profitable with automated upselling messages that go out with scheduling confirmation.

Pros

This software is an all in one reporting and scheduling suite. It is good, it works good, looks good ... and customer service is great.

Cons

There are a few glitches in the software that pop up from time to time. I would prioritize fixing the problems and odd spots in the software, over developing new features.

Delightful! Amazing! An inspector's best friend!

Pros

This app has taken away the burden of reporting. Its extremely easy to navigate, customize, and use in the field. I've used other software such as 3D Inspect and Home Guage and had to work for hours post inspection adding photos and comments. allows me to observe and report and deliver same day. Before spectora i could only do 2 inspections a day, and id have to work ALL day to do it. With Spectora, I've done as many as 5 inspections in a day and had the reports out that evening.

The apple version works beyter than android currently.

has been overall a great company to work with. One downside is the amount of time it often takes to get a phone call with them. I don't always have time to chat online with someone, but instead need a quick phone call so I can get the issue fixed and move on. Their call scheduling is frustrating. It often takes 3 plus days to get a scheduled phone call, only to need them to call you back with a solution. While online makes sense (it is a software company after all) I really hope they step up their phone game for guys that need an answer quick to finish a job or report.

Pros

Ease of use. The product is especially simple to use on the front end, which makes time management and overall efficiency so much easier to accomplish. The reports come out clean, and easy to understand, which is fantastic. We rarely receive follow up calls from clients, simply because the reports are easy to understand.

Cons

We have payment service issues with almost every server maintenance period. Our business name keeps getting reset to the default "Facebook", which will show on customers bank statements. This often leads to their bank "auto-flagging" the charge as fraud, which then means we have to argue it. Last year we lost nearly $1200 to improperly flagged "fraudulent" charges...which is irritating to say the least. Now that we have identified when it happens, it is not as bad, but still frustrating that such an expensive software has such a stupid nuance.

Sometimes the comments in my report are not in a specific order. But they are in the report and that is what is important.

Another user introduced me to the Spectora team at a conference. That meeting changed the direction of our company. The ease of use and features have allowed us to grow drastically since we switched over in 2020. From our switchover to present day, our experience has been amazing. I only wish we heard about Spectora sooner.

Pros

has been a game changer for our company. When we moved to Spectora, our team was comfortable with the new system within a week. Our inspectors complete most reports on site. Spectora has given our team their evenings back. The support is amazing and the look to our reports is second to none. I can't describe how much difference having Spectora has made for our dramatic growth over the last few years.

Cons

I have very little to complain about. Service is fantastic. I would like to see a set date to shut down the legacy version so the proper attention can be given to the next generation system. But that is being not picky as our company loves .

Generally excellent with a few hiccups on the mobile app. Extremely helpful and dedicated CS staff. Easy, if expensive one source solution for software, marketing, website development and website updates. As with any service related business, there is room for improvement, but is really the best solution that exists today for inspection software and back office processing in an all in one product. The support is fantastic, and the end product is very, very client friendly. My customers love the reports!

Pros

Excellent support staff, extremely helpful and really go the extra mile to find the answers I need. Well designed software, with an excellent and extremely user friendly report format. Once you have the software customized to meet your individual company, it's super easy to produce excellent, visually stimulating narrative style reports for the end user clients.

Cons

Years into the beta process on the mobile app and there are still numerous problems with photos and data loading properly into the finished report. The mobile app still really struggles in areas with weak cellular data access. Considering that is probably 1/3 - 1/2 of my territory, it's really frustrating. They need to figure out how to make the app completely functional and saved to the local device, ie. iPhone or iPad.

solves problems before I have them so that I do not have any issues whatsoever! Pretty sure they've thought of everything! It really is the perfect all-in-one platform for a home inspector. Website, scheduling, payment processing, contact management, mileage tracker, the list goes on. I'm the only inspector in the state that can deliver the report onsite and I owe that to Spectora.

Pros

The software is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot recommend it enough. I love that I can annotate photos in process, add videos (GFCI's not tripping, jetted tubs operating, etc.) all in a super slick package that clients find easy to read, view and use. REALTORS® absolutely love it too. I've been a REALTOR® since 2011 and have been involved with approximately 300 home inspections in that time and I have never seen a report that wows people like 's report does. As a licensed home inspector, I love how easy it is to use and that the saved observational comments serve as reminders so that I do not overlook anything. The website is beautiful and user-friendly, the payment processing is next-day and I'm able to block out my schedule as necessary for family events, travel, etc. so that clients are unable to schedule during those times. It syncs with Google Calendar so I get notifications an hour and a half hour before and it works seamlessly between my iPhone and iPad so that I can modify the report using whichever is most convenient for me. The system emails and texts everyone involved (listing licensee, selling licensee, the client, etc.) so that everyone is aware of when the inspection is to take place and there are no surprises. I get thanked for the reminders weekly! Their customer service goes above and beyond and I have always had a super positive experience. They're responsive and a dream to work with!

Cons

If I could change one thing, it would be that the total number of the various levels of observations would be clickable at the top of the report so that it would collate the corresponding items into one clickable option (aka Health and Life Safety). However, the function is there in the Summary mode, I just wish the totals were clickable. Outside of that one little tweak, the software and website are amazing and I would not change a thing.

It's the perfect platform and meets all my needs in one place. It is visually appealing, a breeze to use and my clients absolutely love it. I cannot rave enough about it and I'm hoping that other inspectors in Alaska don't know about it so that I can leverage the ability to deliver the report onsite for a while longer.

### "Greedy without any accountability for anything promised"

Was so hopeful and excited and after countless issues in combination with hallow apologies and an overall lack of any accountability on their end I have come to loathe the name . Literally hearing or seeing the name or logo raises my blood pressure. When I think of how much money I spent vs the problems I have had and the lack of any kind of solution or even effort or attempt to fix the problem or provide a work around amazes me I haven't left. I won't be surprised at all if I find out this was all a game to get a decent valuation and the two \[sensitive content hidden\]dump the company to make a pile of cash and leave all of us that put up with their garbage with the hope of something better to wait for whomever buys it to fix the pile they leave them with. If it can be done. The only things that makes sense the more I think about it. Just wait and see. They will try and go public soon.

Pros

The only thing I like about is the way the summary looks and the repair request builder.

Cons

The least helpful thing about is the support. Regardless of what platform you are on, regular or their advanced business platforms, there is zero phone support. The best I could get when joining advanced after writing into chat for help and going over my advanced account to ensure I have set it up in the best possible way and to see if I could do anything better was a link to schedule out a call 3 - 4 days later. I had that day off and the time to do it right than. I had inspections to conduct over the next few days, not to mention I'm paying them hundreds a month to be the backbone of my inspection company, handle the scheduling, follow up, payments, reporting ect, and the best I can do is chat with someone? Are you kidding me? There is abosolutely zero flexibility in the platform. For example, I have a license and a friend thats an inspector I'm helping start up has a license in his account. I was going to have him come with me on a few inspections while he got his feet wet and to get his confidence up, and maybe in the future when we were doing 10k sq ft houses and over utilize him as a second. Despite him paying $99 already for his license, I needed to pay another $89 on my account plus what we both already paid so he could join me on a few inspections a year. As I have mentioned I have had countless things that have gone wrong, the reporting system that has been stuck in the sandbox for the past year plus we were told was going to be made permanent

Thought that they were going to have that technology start up mentality that cared about their clients and understood they are the ones that make or break a company. Would back up their promises and talk to deliver a product that was evolving and constantly developing to get better for the end user. Boy was I wrong about that. I feel more like I got boiler roomed and paid a ton of money for a penny stock worth nothing, but all my money is sitting here now so do I ride it out or move on. If your a new inspector, or thinking about moving because of the above, I'm not embellishing because I'm bitter and pissed. Everything I have said other than predictions is 100% true.
