Very happy with Spectora as a team and you will not find better customer service, that is actually available when you need it.

Pros

The reports generated by Spectora look great and are easy for the home buyer and agents to view. The ability to complete a report on-site using a mobile device and send it immediately or with minimal review later is a huge time saver. Being able to have it automatically send communications and integrate with various services also saves time and prevents errors by manually entering data and sending emails.

Cons

For the advanced feature set, there is a bit of a learning curve, but only because it is so powerful.

I can't picture using any other software at this time. They are making a difference in the entire industry.

Pros

This software has gotten one thing from work that you can't just get back that is time. I save so much time with the ease of use in the field and even at home. The software is top of the line and ground breaking. I would highly recommend everyone to use this software and have the experience.

Cons

Sometimes some of the updates change some things but nothing really that bad just little adjustment:)

### "Modern Software Not So Modern"

Visual pleasing Online schedule and payment features

Cons

There are so many limitations with Spectora, for example they restrict your video size where other companies allow you to record video for as long as you want. No integration with homebinder or Nxt. They are expensive vs the competition. Support for multi inspections is limited and syncing is with other inspectors is buggy. We lose data many times, where we have had zero issues with other software programs. Custom built websites are over priced and just cookie cutter rehashes off each other. Just a few minor tweakes and graphics. Look like all the other home inspector websites out there. SEO services are limited and don’t do much. Customer support answers quickly but the follow up is weak.

We're always prioritizing integrations based on requests and these 2 haven't had much! We are definitely the premium option - the feedback and our reviews tell us it's well worth it to attract and retain modern agents and clients. We'd love for you to let us know when you run into issues! We don't hear this from the majority of our users so we're ready and waiting if you can give us details! Most Wordpress sites cost 1-5k, so we're reasonably priced. Sites are sometimes limited by the inspectors content. We lose money on SEO services since we offer so much and charge 1/4 of what agency's charge so let me know what you mean on this one. Spectroa allows me to report on site and the software automation helps me stream line my business communication and follow up and scheduling. This product saves me a full time employee

I have no complaint with spectora. They are a new software company so once or twice we had some tech issues that were resolved quickly

Pros

Spectora streamlined many of the day to day tasks of my business from scheduling to getting agreements signed, payment processing etc. I now have more time to focus on the actual Inspections!

Cons

When using the app onsite to mark defects and take pictures, if you use the in app camera it asks to approve every picture. When it’s a defect that I mark up thats fine, but when it’s just the general pictures of a room or the exterior, it becomes a bit cumbersome, so I just switch to the regular camera app.

### "Customer Service is Unreal!"

Spectora as a team is unmatched. Period. Before I choose to go with Spectora I reached out to them with a question and received a reply the same day. We then set up a phone call for Christmas Eve to talk through my questions. From the website build to the launch they answered every question I threw at them and were willing to help out in any way they can. They helped me set up GSuite and then switched the domain for me when I changed my mind on which to use (they were able to make this change, I think, because it had been only a day since the initial set up) but the fact that they were willing to try spoke volumes! Bottom line, I have high standards for customer service - these guys blew those standards out of the water! I cannot say enough good things about them. The inspection software is strong, the app is strong, their websites are awesome, and their team of service minded individuals leaves everyone else in the dust. Don’t take it from me, call them!

Pros

The software system itself does a lot. It’s a full service inspection software and CRM in one. I considered options such as Tap Inspect and others but they didn’t have all the tools Spectora does. I would’ve ended up paying more and using two separate companies to do everything that Spectora can do as one organization.

Cons

The software can be manipulated in the app but it’s not as easy or intuitive as TapInspect. However, Tap doesn’t offer as many manipulations as Spectora. The trade off is this - do you want something you can easily easily alter in the field or do you want something that serves ALL of your needs. With Spectora you can manipulate your report in the field but the easiest way to do it is from the computer. I prefer the one that allows more features. Don’t get me wrong, their app is awesome and allows me to complete the report port in the field very easily. It’s the altering (adding or removing) of the template I am referring to.

From the time I met \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] in Atlantic City to implementation of the software to tech support, I’ve been blown away by how sharp, personable, and caring they have been. I’m sure the rest of the members are similar, but I have so little problems that I don’t interact with the team much.

Pros

After implementing Spectora as our report writing software, we have received nothing but compliments. It has increased our efficiency and we are now offering a same day report delivery or its free. This would not of been possibility without Spectora. It is easy to use and update. It is simple to read and produces fantastic reports, including videos. We were limited from 1 to 2 inspections per day per inspector when we started. We can now do 3 per day easily.

Cons

Integration took some time, but that is true with any software. I can’t think of anything negative about the software.

I have asked for edits multiple times that have not been addressed or commented on. There are features that seem essential for a software that is trying to be a leader in this type of technology.

Overall this has been a great experience and the customer service has been reliable. When things get to a mess it would be nice to speak with someone on the phone. Instead the chat bubble needs to be used which for some simple tasks is over kill and takes to much time.

Pros

The picture editing feature is the best in the industry. Works good for an application with mobile connection many times I can send a report completely mobile before the next inspection begins. The software is easy to get through and write templates. Good customer service.

Cons

The software crashes multiple times during an inspection. This is extremely frustrating especially when in a compromised environment or bad location. Your already the most expensive software on the market. All your features included advanced should included, not be an additional charge per inspection.

There is no other software I would use for my company. Spectora has exemplary customer service and is very responsive when I need assistance. With the opening of our training facility, Spectora will be the software that we will be training new home inspectors with. They are also very open to receiving feedback on how to improve which is very important.

Pros

This software allows me to complete an extra inspection a day by saving time on writing reports. It is such a helpful tool to complete professional looking reports in minimal time.

Cons

There are some items that are only available with subscriptions to advanced versions. Maybe look at adding some of those items A-La-Cart. For example, If I schedule an inspection for another inspector he does not get the confirmation email. I need to forward him the email so he gets it. Not a huge deal but it is an extra step

Once I got the templates and comments in place, it is easy to use.

Cons

I consistently have issues with drag and drop of photos. Many times when I drag a photo or sets of photos, the previous entry photo is dropped in place of the current photo/s I am dragging to drop into a comment. I then have to go back to my previous entry and re-enter the photo because it is gone.

Unsatisfied with overall experience with Spectora several areas of concern would be screens turn to a full white after taking pictures or while you try to zoom in on pictures has happened for the past few years. I’ve called customer support and they say that they’re still working it out? Yet to no avail and no replies as to when this will be remedied.

High quality photos, yet somewhat delay in between photos, not sure if your mainframe can support several end users? Have Add several white out screens for no apparent reason while taking photos

Cons

Delays in software while using app.. Customer support representatives when called upon several times say that this should be resolved in the next few weeks or months and yet to no avail after several years

This has allowed us to more quickly expand as a multi inspector firm. Better quality control as the office can view and modify reports in real time while the inspector is in the field and review the report prior to the inspector leaving in case there is a flag that was noted.

Pros

Too much to list! but the active software is ideal for multi inspector firms, or single inspectors with multiple devices such as phone, tablet, laptop and desktop. The software has been constantly upgraded based on customer feedback. This is the most Modern and advanced software we have used ever. Repair Request feature has been a big hit with clients. The ease of modifications to our templates is a huge benefit. the ability to apply video as well as photos. the categories and limitations have been very useful in producing a repair that is not overly harsh but still conveys all concerns

Cons

Newer platform so there are some bugs that come up from time to time. and they do not have 360 photo/video integration

The report is easy to use as an inspector, and easy to navigate and understand as a client/realtor.

Cons

Every once in a while the software freezes when used on my mobile device, and the pictures occasionally are oreinted incorrectly even if the orientation tab is toggled.

Being able to finish most of the report on-site is a huge time-saver. Feeling like their staff is working for you, and cares about your issues and ideas, creates a great relationship.

Pros

Spectora produces a beautiful interactive report that our clients and Realtors love. It also provides the required format for our state, which is different than other states. It's easy to modify and customize our templates, emails, and price structure. We are able to get most of the inspection done on-site which is a real time saver. I absolutely love their customer service. They are always helpful, responsive and courteous. They listen to our ideas and suggestions, and implement those that will benefit the whole of the users. It's nice to be listened to.

Cons

I would like a sort feature by most defects chosen, or for the deficiencies chosen during an inspection to come to the top of the list so you don't have to scroll to add more pics. There are times when the software 'times out' while taking pictures and you have to retake the photos. That's frustrating.

Reason for choosing Spectora

Prior to starting with Doyenne Inspections, I tried Home Inspector Pro software. It was OK, but I found the process of getting the actual report branded and completed was not user friendly. The format was also not as pretty as Spectora's.

Pros

Spectora has become one of the best tools my company relies on to stay on top of our inspections and to get a clean, well put together report out in s timely fashion. It is easy to use adding and subtracting things from the program is an ease. I tried a few different inspection software before settling on Spectora and view it as a valuable asset to my company.

Cons

Things I dislike about Spectora and hope to have addressed in the future: 1. Integrate calendars to include outlook and ones associated with iOS services. I am not aware that this is available to update outlook or my phone calendar. 2. Making it easier to import a previous report into a new report for those inspections that the client asks us to follow-up on repairs made. 3. The option to take multiple pictures at one time without having the edit menu come up after ever picture. Those would be my 3 main things to focus on for taking Spectora to the next level.
