" September 18, 2017 5.0 It's helped me to showcase my work effectively over past few years. Pros Format looks faboulus. The proposed templates are refined and esthetic. It's dead easy to use. Uploading pics couldn't be easier. On rare occasions I've had to call customers service for help and I've always been given positive advice very fast. Cons There's hardly anything I don't like about Format. Perhaps Id like to have a little more control over the typos and general layout. But all in all it's nearly always met my needs. And i also like the is so simple to work with, with just a little patience you can learn how to do just about everything cause its very well explained. Cons i think what i like least is the fact that i can't choose different templates do each page, so if i wanted one album to be like all the photos are in thumbnails and you click and opens and have a different setting in a different album is not possible. but other than that i dont have anything to say negatively about it. Whenever I have an issue or question, they are there to help me immediately. Pros I have been using Format since about 2013. I really enjoy how easy Format is to use! Format has continued to make developments, updates, and always offer continual support to their customers. Cons I think that their blog format could be worked on. There isn't much flexibility here. I think one of the main things I would enjoy them to incorporate is music. I often times like to pair music with my photos to give a more theatrical experience. The creative team who designs the web designs are the biggest sell for myself, also being able to use proofing is a game changer! Cons I feel as though sometimes the site lags on upload time, but that is the only downside! Pros I love its ease of use, nothing is overcomplicated, the site management is so easy, makes it absolutely enjoyable updating my website every time. Cons There's nothing I can mention here, really. The only thing I miss at the moment is the blog being able to subscribed to or followed but knowing format, this will be available soon too as all great features that come along almost weekly. Cons It would be nice to see additional templates, and for it to be a bit easier to rearrange images within a gallery (sometimes the click & drag is buggy and they don't move.) Cons The fact that on the pro website, still features the name "format" even if you pay an extensive amount per year. I am not fond of products using its clients as publicity. To be able to run your own website as an artist without having to be a hardcore coder is amazing. I love that I'm able to change images, or the look of my website with the greatest of ease. I also like the fact that Format sites are compatible with devices, so that my clients can easily view my site on their smart phones or tablets, as well as their laptops. The picture quality always looks beautiful and crisp! I love how handy the Proofing feature is, it's perfect for clients and so easy to use. Lastly, anytime I need help with something, the live chat is so convenient and everyone is so helpful. I will be a long time user of Format! Pros You don't need coding experience and they've curated designs for every type of website! I like how all the designs look extremely professional and unlike other websites that fall under the same category. They hold themselves and their products to a higher caliber and I really feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Cons It's not as customizable as I wish it could be, but for the price and ease of use, its worth it. I got my boyfriend to use the same website for his business and he proved that there is a bit of a learning curve, but once you've learned the ropes, the website is easy to navigate.
