Pros
It's easy to set up, and now that Twitter owns it I really like the feature that you can pin your newsletter on your Twitter profile. Creating issues is also simple, and pure joy in the Revue editor.
I liked pretty much everything because the creative process is my favorite. Having a Chrome extension and an iPhone app makes it easier to add content to my queue.
When I work on the app, I have a feeling of inner peace that comes from the minimalist design, and it is a perfect atmosphere to cultivate sincere thoughts.
I am able to send out a newsletter in the same time heating up a pizza. I love the simplicity and ease.
Cons
With the exception of one of their employees [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the Revue customer service was horrendous. When you get a new support person, they're never on the same page.
After all that, the Revue-Zapier integration does not function. Zapier has indicated it's an error with the Revue API.).
No ability to login to a dashboard to cancel either. Serious waste of my time having to write this review, tweet at them on twitter and email staff to try to cancel one silly subscription.
2 weeks of emails to support to cancel subscription and no reply.

"Revue, newsletter with simple and fast setup"
Overall: I Will give Revue a solid +4 overall
Pros: It's easy to set up, and now that Twitter owns it I really like the feature that you can pin your newsletter on your Twitter profile. Creating issues is also simple, and pure joy in the Revue editor. Connecting to other social channels works so so, but you can have your issues posted to Linkedin, Twitter, and as a draft to Medium.
Cons: Would love to have more options to make it personal with colors and so on. Feels a bit limited as it is right now.
"Revue is a simple newsletter solution"
Overall: It is a pleasure to prepare my newsletter on Revue. When I work on the app, I have a feeling of inner peace that comes from the minimalist design, and it is a perfect atmosphere to cultivate sincere thoughts.
Pros: Simplicity is what sets Revue apart. I started my newsletter in one day. When I start a new website, it often takes a month of planning, but I was shocked at how easy it was to begin. The next morning, I wrote my first newsletter and people began joining. Revue seems to have a secret sauce that makes people join the newsletter. It is a very inviting platform. The new integration with Twitter is exciting, and I cannot imagine what is in store for users. But already, traffic is coming to the newsletters from Twitter. It is also integrated into the social media platform now as well. Writing is a breeze with Revue and the editor is very intuitive. The minimalist design helps you write with ease and present clear thoughts in your newsletter. Revue allows you to have a free custom domain, and that is huge. Some other platforms charge for this. They also only take 5% of revenue and others take 10% or 15%. The Revue community is young and vibrant, and you will find support from your fellow Revuers. Some have shared hints and ideas with me, and I do the same for others. All in all, it is great software with zero upfront cost that works really, really well!
Cons: I would have liked to have had zero Revue branding. But I understand that a tiny bit of branding is helpful for the company to expand. I want to be supportive of Revue and understand that a little bit does not take away from my brand and will help strengthen the Revue community as more people come on board.
"Expect API, Zapier, & Customer Support Issues"
Overall: Their lack of communication is astounding. With the exception of one of their employees [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the Revue customer service was horrendous. When you get a new support person, they're never on the same page. My initial contact kept talking past me on emails back and forth. I got a support person that got Zapier to connect, but it still can't transfer data to Zapier. Now that I have yet another support person, this one is treating me like I'm an idiot that doesn't know how to use Zapier. It's hard to know how this company is still in business, much less how they got bought out by Twitter.
Pros: Solely the integrations. In the Twitter integration, Revue exclusively allows you to add a subscription button at the top of your Twitter profile. With the Zapier integration, I could sync my Revue subscribers to my Mailchimp lists.
Cons: The integrations don't work. The Revue API is not activated unless you upload your mail list. (What if you're starting from scratch?!?) They never communicate to you that the API is not activated until you upload a mail list. When you upload a mail list they then follow up with a form to verify the source and then an additional follow-up with an email saying they saw it, but want more information. After all that, the Revue-Zapier integration does not function. (Zapier has indicated it's an error with the Revue API.)
"Very useful! Creating and sending out newsletters couldn't be easier."
Overall: Thanks so much to Revue as I am now sending out a newsletter quickly and easily to set up and complete each week I need to offer a nice landing page for past episodes that I can share so others can easily subscribe quickly for me it's very worth using this platform for sure!
Pros: I liked pretty much everything because the creative process is my favorite. Having a Chrome extension and an iPhone app makes it easier to add content to my queue. As a result, being able to reload saved templates, drag and drop content, and images allows me to send one email a week and it takes less than 10 minutes to set up and schedule it effortlessly.
Cons: In my opinion, there would be little to change for improvement, I would like them to focus more on email authentication and deliverability as for now they are only offering limited SPF and they also need to support DKIM, DMARC and have a differentiated email offering with a greater variety of content.
"A high quality service to make sending a weekly newsletter so easy"
Overall: I wanted to run a weekly newsletter for my Startup Resources site, and Revue makes it so easy. There's a plugin for my browser, so I can easily save an article or a site to include in the newsletter, or I can add things manually. It makes curation a snap, as I just go in and briefly edit the issue before it goes out. Anytime I've had any sort of issue, I can just live chat with the staff and figure it out. Tons of features and integrations and the cost per month is less than a burrito!
Pros: Ease of use, great support, fits into my workflow, low price
Cons: No affiliate program
"Creating and Sending a Newsletter Can't Be Easier"
Overall: If it wasn't for Revue, I probably wouldn't be sending out a newsletter. It makes it so fast and easy to setup and populate each week. And gives me a great landing page of my past episodes which I can share to have new people subscribe easily.
Pros: The creation process is the thing I like most. Having the chrome extension and iphone app makes it very easy to add content to my queue. Then the ability to reload a saved template, drag and drop content, and add in links, tweets, images, and more allows me to literally send a weekly email with less than 15 minutes of time invested to set it up and schedule it.
Cons: I wish they would do some more to focus on email authentication and deliverability. Right now they only offer SPF which has limitations and they really need to support DKIM, DMARC, and having a true custom email offering.
"Great for writer, basic for the reader"
Overall: It has been good. If not for the tiny text and the huge side padding on the part of the mobile readers, it would have been amazing.
Pros: I love how easy Revue was to deploy. You can get started in an instant, import tweets and lots of other cool features.
Cons: I don't like how tiny the text is on mobile for the readers. If the size of the text could be increased, the borders (or side margins) decreased, this will be a better platform for everyone.
"Super for posting"
Overall: Our experience is great so far and we have been posting newsletters for many weeks.
Pros: It is very easy to use. Allows you to combined different texts and insert as many pictures as you want/need. They have a great communication system that helps you learning about trends and other information.
Cons: I don´t see major issues for our needs. Copy/paste utilities could add as well as video posting.
"Non Existent Customer Support"
Overall: Terrible
Pros: There was nothing I enjoyed about this product experience.
Cons: If you're looking to signup for a newletter through this service, I highly recommend sticking to Substack or another service. 2 weeks of emails to support to cancel subscription and no reply. No ability to login to a dashboard to cancel either. Serious waste of my time having to write this review, tweet at them on twitter and email staff to try to cancel one silly subscription.
"Great concept"
Pros: The idea is extremely useful for setting up newsletters.
Cons: It needs to be more flexible and integrate with blogging platforms such as wordpress.
"Revue I can only recommend for companies who don't have a marketing budget"
Overall: My experience with Revue was not great due to the fact that it could just not meet all our needs. Is it therefore a bad tool? No. For organisations without a marketing budget, Revue can get the job done.
Pros: Revue is simple to use tool that lets you build newsletters quickly and easy. When you target group is active on Twitter the tool is great to integrate.
Cons: To software is extremely limited in terms of creating the newsletters and following how they are received. This is not a problem for a small amateur sport team for example but for a company I would just not advice it.
"Lovely Software"
Overall: I really like Revue because it allows me to publish my own blogs in digest form, and collect and publish blogs from relevant people as well. The interface is smooth and clean. They just added another template too.
Pros: The clean look and ease of collecting items throughout the week to be published.
Cons: Not sure.
"It's easy to use to create and send newsletters"
Pros: I had the free version, but for the price it's an easy way to create and send newsletters.
Cons: Not much, but there were some issues with email authentication.
"Amazing tool"
Overall: One of the best tools I found in 2016. It helps me reach people in a more personal and intimate way than other social media channels. And my open rates are through the roof!
"I love Revue"
Overall: I am able to send out a newsletter in the same time heating up a pizza. I love the simplicity and ease.
Pros: The ease of use
