Pros: Dynamics 365 easily integrates to other Microsoft applications. It has so many more advanced features and functionality than a standard CRM or ERP application. It is a all-encompassing solution that does almost anything.

Cons: If there are a lot of customizations, custom code, or plugins, system performance can be impacted negatively. Although it is improving with every update, the user interface can be a little difficult to navigate through.

Overall: Dynamics 365 allows for sales forecasting, business intelligence, marketing automation, and an efficient customer service process. It automates our sales process from start to finish.

Pros: What I like most about Microsoft Dynamics CRM is how easy it is to use. The interface makes it clear where to search for leads, and displays the information you need right when you open it up. There isn't many buttons or hoops to jump through to get to what you're looking for. Being able to Pin information that's more valuable to you on the homepage is also very helpful.

Cons: There are Glitches quite often, having to restart the program is fairly common. It is understandable since there is a lot going on in the program, but freezing and having to close down in the middle of work can be a nuisance.

Overall: It makes identifying good leads very easy, almost instantaneous.

Pros: I love the fact that Dynamics 365 is always up-to-date and highly available. IT makes life so much easier. The integration with Flow, PowerApps and PowerBI is also amazingly simple and useful.

Cons: It is still a bit clunky. For most companies it can do too much so you need to spend some time cutting it down to the size your company needs. Don't get me wrong it is a great product but it does EVERYTHING!

Overall: We use it for customer relationship management. This enables anyone to see what contact the customer has had and have all information at their fingertips. The fact that it is cloud hosted helps the road warriors hugely.

Pros: It combines CRM and ERP solutions powered by data and intelligence with that built-in intelligence. Dynamics 365 enables that integration that provides solutions for users.

Cons: There are limited third party integrations. There is also high pricing and steep learning curve when using the program for the first time.

This is a great product.

Pros: Integration with ms outlook is extremely helpful to streamline processes within our company. Can track leads effectively - helps with sales.

Cons: There are some issues with the UI. Also, sometimes there are issues within the software where the MS outlook integration causes performance speeds to slow down

Pros: I love how it links so easily to our Outlook and will allow message and meeting notifications without leaving the screen.

Cons: My least favorite things about dynamics 365 is how cumbersome the login portion is. We have it linked to a business account so we essentially have to login twice.

Overall: It provides one place that employees can go to get everything they need to complete their daily tasks.

Comments: Overall, the system is very advanced. I would not recommend it to a business with less than a few hundred employees.

Pros: I like the software's reliability as it pertains to accuracy of funds. This system is simple, once properly trained to use it.

Cons: The downside to this system is finding someone who has the knowledge and ability to reprogram the software as needed, for functionality and convenience.

Pros: We were fortunate enough to have a few people supporting CRM and customizing the tool to our needs and process flows and it works better than it did out of box. I like how we can connect our sales tool to our OpenAir tool when sales opportunities are high and need Resources aligned.

Cons: The tool could use better contact organization structure and to be able to require fields from subgrids.

Comments: If you are a big fan of Microsoft everything then Dynamics might be for you, but I believe other CRM'S are far superior.

Pros: The customer interface looks user friendly. It also syncs up to Microsoft outlook seamlessly, which is probably it's best feature.

Cons: My biggest negative with Dynamics is with the display of your contacts. It doesn't give you easy access to the content you have entered in you Dynamics CRM.

Comments: Good CRM tools Portal should provide CMS capability, thus it will be a complete end to end solution for better customer experience

Pros: Since this ia microsoft product, Interoperability and easy integration to other system is a strong point, where most of people in the world use windows OS and ms office

Cons: Ms dyna365 use Subscription method instead of licensing method. This cause higher maintenance cost, as it can not be depreciated

Pros: I like that it's cloud-based, so there's no on-premise hardware to keep updated or worry about getting out-of-date or breaking down.

Cons: They keep changing things "behind the scenes" - it's like coming home from work one day to find all your furniture subtly moved around a bit. Even worse is when they make changes that break your custom Dynamics CRM builds and you have to monkey around to get things working again! Also frustrating is when you have to play Musical Web Browsers to get logged in again...sometimes they'll make a change that breaks functionality in Internet Explorer, but now it works in Chrome (or vice versa)...and I love the irony that Microsoft Dynamics CRM doesn't work at all in Microsoft Edge.

Pros: I really like being able to start quickly with a CRM in the cloud. Additionally, the workflows functionality works excellent, the integration with Exchange Online works perfectly so we can send emails from CRM. It is easy to customize which I love. Additionally, the standard lead to opportunity flow works good enough for us without any customization. It is also easy for developers to create JavaScript to control aspects of the user interface.

Overall, Dynamics 365 (previously called Dynamics CRM) feels like a really well built software.

Cons: The Project Service Automation module was not as good out of the box as I would like it to be. We will need to customize it before using it. Additionally, there are sometimes errors and I am not yet quite sure the reason for the errors (but on the bright side the errors do not seem to affect the efficacy of the software).

Overall: Tracking our pipeline, getting notifications, integration with Office 365 email and tasks, tracking due dates of our customers maintenance plans and support plan, tracking all of our contacts and accounts in one database.

Comments: My impression thus far of Microsoft Dynamics is that it is beta software not ready for production. Artifacts leftover from trial versions are nearly impossible to remove. It took almost a month of effort to reset my company's instance to remove demo data. Once completely reset, the module we require, Project Service Automation, is nowhere to be found. Obtaining support is far too difficult. Most of the people who answer the phone haven't heard of PSA. Calling the support number on the Dynamics 365 web page gets you to a sales person. The salesperson hasn't heard of PSA, and gives you a different number to call. Using the new number, you get a person who tries to understand what your issue is to open a ticket. Usually, that person has no understanding of Dynamics either, so you end up explaining your problem 2 or 3 times. In fact, they do not have access to any information about you at all, despite asking for user ID and phone number. That means that the 6 prior calls you made that could help the person writing up the ticket are unavailable. It also means that each time you call is exactly as cumbersome as the first. Once they do assign you a ticket number, you wait for a call, supposedly within hours. Meanwhile, I've had to wait more than 24 hours for one callback. If you are in a meeting when they do call, and your meeting has priority, you are compelled to call back and leave messages with the person assigned to you until you are both free.. For shame, Microsoft. You can do better. If you need help, there are hundreds of thousands of Java developers out there than can fix your product and your support system.

Pros: If it were to work, it would suit our needs beautifully. Integration from sales through to invoicing would be perfect.

Cons: Because it simply doesn't work after 2 months of configuration, resetting instances, reinstalling modules, and still not having an application even to configure, let alone use, it has negative value to this point.

Microsoft CRM is a very powerful system and it meets our needs.

Pros: The Microsoft CRM integrates very well with our email marketing platform, marketing automation, business intelligence (BI) etc systems.

Cons: The implementation of the product was a bit cumbersome, since we were moving from our own in-house CRM system, so there were many aspects to consider.

Pros: Every little bit of this CRM is customizable, which is great. Combined with Power BI for reporting is even more amazing! The dashboard on the main page can be set up to show you everything that you need to work on for the day/week and it makes for an efficient process. Also, Dynamics 365 is completely integrated into Microsoft Outlook, which makes adding contacts and leads that much easier. A+ software. Highly recommended for those looking for an all-around CRM solution.

Cons: Lack of user-friendliness. Although this software is completely customizable, you'll never figure out how to customize it on your own without help from support. There are many small features that would be otherwise unrecognizable if not for being pointed out by a support consultant. If you can get past the fact that you can't just click around to figure out the CRM and it takes a little extra work, this software is highly worth it!

Pros: This system is a 'one-stop-shop' for our company. Our finance, service, shipping, failure analysis and warehouse management is all managed through Microsoft Dynamics 365. It is nice having anywhere access and it looks like we'll be looking into adding the field services module in the future to add to our subscriptions under Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Cons: There is a ton of training needed for Microsoft Dynamics 365. When our company finally upgraded, it took us months to train different departments. The system is very complex and navigating through different reporting elements is a bit overwhelming. Also, the ability to create custom reports is not intuitive.

Comments: overall a good CRM tool

Pros: you would expect from a Microsoft product, has a very simple user look and feel especially for those familiar with SharePoint or Office, the UI is genuinely uncluttered and easy to use, meaning that adoption training and familiarisation should be at a minimum.

Cons: Many of Microsoft¿s competitors offer cloud only apps (Salesforce.com), or have separate products for on-premises and cloud delivery (SAP). This similarity between cloud and on-premise can prove to be a benefit to many organizations where data sensitivity and the need to house data onsite is key. It also means enterprises can adopt an application strategy which suits them rather than being forced to the cloud for better functionality. This also means Dynamics allows you to adopt a Hybrid Cloud Strategy mixing and matching for optimal performance and security.

Pros: That Dynamics 365 is a MS product lends it the benefit of doubt that it is probably going to be a complete and robust solution for the purposes intended. It is a solid solution and as a Tier II enterprise system probably the best in its class or in the top echelon.

Cons: Systems like MS Dynamics are becoming obsolete in light of the fact that enterprise platforms are not only going to the cloud but offering extraordinarily better interfaces and UXs. Licenses are prohibitively (encourages non-adoption) expensive; it was for this reason, I sought a cloud platform to handle our procurement function.

Comments: Overall it seems to be a very nice slick system. Comfortable and easy to use yet very powerful.

Pros: Enterprise and Business editions are priced competitively with Salesforce. The system is available bundled but also a la carte for the business that doesn't want to spend the money on an entire system. Out of the box offers solutions for field service and Project Service Automation which is huge. Comfortable UI, something we are already familiar with in all of the Microsoft products.

Cons: While options can be a good thing when selling a product, too many options can get confusing for customers. There are many package options to purchase and it might get a bit difficult to figure out exactly what you do and do not need when trying to put this together on a shoestring budget a la carte.

Pros: It works like our Microsoft products prior with a bunch of new features that we have not ventured into at this point.

Cons: It is difficult to navigate without being taught how to use this particular version of MS word. It does have quite a few new features that seem to expedite things.

Overall: This is the first time we decided to purchase a subscription to our Microsoft products. We utilized Outlook and Microsoft Word quite a bit and use the cloud and Excel as well. I do not utilize all of the products that is offered at this point

Pros: It offers so much for a business and seems to be able to adapt and expand with the growth of a business.

Cons: There is a lot of information and lots to learn.

Overall: I have not had very extensive exposure to Dynamics 365, but it is a great solution for an integrated approach to your business.

Companies shouldn't purchase Microsoft Dynamics, our company regrets doing so!

Comments: The problem with a lot of reviews is that they only get the first impression of the software and they don't have the time to truly use the software on a daily basis with real data and customers. The company I work for has been using Microsoft Dynamics for around a year and it has been a complete nightmare since day one. As a result, I strongly recommend companies not use Microsoft Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics is littered with critical technical issues. We have been having continuous issues with data deleting itself without our consent or any forewarning. This has cost our company considerable time and money and loss of data. Worst of all their support is horrible. They are difficult to get hold off and you get thrown around many Microsoft departments and no one knows anything about Microsoft Dynamics specifically. From my experience, I believe there are only 2-3 actual technical support operators in the Asia Pacific region and this is for Microsoft's flagship CRM product. Microsoft has shown little interest in resolving our technical issues we have had with our very stock standard and most up to date cloud version of Microsoft Dynamics. The interface is complex and clunky and when performing actions and tasks it's like playing a slot machine you don't know if you're going to get lucky and it will work or whether you will encounter a completely unintelligible error message. There's also very little compatibility with other modern cloud platforms like Zendesk and MailChimp. The software is slow and it feels like it is normal operating system software working through a cloud connector rather than software written for the cloud. You should not purchase Microsoft Dynamics, you will run into technical issues and when those issues occur there will be no support to assist you. If something goes wrong and you need to restore data you will be stuffed and your business will be significantly disrupted. Microsoft Dynamics isn't cheap either, and you will likely need the help of consultants/contractors who have used it before to get it working for you. Our company if currently assessing alternative CRM's.

Recommendations to other buyers: I advise companies to avoid Microsoft Dynamics at all costs. It has serious technical issues which could your business a lot of time and resources and could result in data loss. This is buggy software not written for the cloud. You should check out all the other great CRM's available!

Pros: Have all the good features of Dynamics,
Microsoft's Power BI and Cortana Intelligence
Friendly user interface
very good integration with Office 365

Cons: Nothing as of now

Overall: Ever since Project Madeira was announced in April, Microsoft has kept quite about what is going on with this product. It turned out to be a very good cloud ERP with integrated CRM. Similar to their Dynamic series of products even this is marketed for small & medium enterprises (especially for Manufacturing). Dynamics 365 delivers powerful, enterprise-class software with a modern, familiar user experience. You get very flexible pricing option based on your organization.

Recommendations to other buyers: Certainly a game changer for Microsoft's Dynamic products

Pros: We love the simplicity, the ease of use, the details and new features that Microsoft has put into their newest system- we love everything!

Cons: Sometimes the updates can be a bit finicky, but that is usual with most software.

Overall: Our office recently switched to Microsoft 365, and have been much happier since then! It truly is the best system out there for office use.

Recommendations to other buyers: Any office needs to be using Microsoft 365!
