Straight forward configuration, clearly more security-focused compared to some rivals. Great customer support and other Microsoft products integration (this was to be expected). Cons Pricing model varies a lot for customers of the same scale. Administrative interface could be made a bit more user friendly. Bulk actions are sometimes cumbersome if there isn't already a predefined use case for them. The billing/AR, accounts payable, and financial modules are very powerful and allow us to truly customize our experience to fit our multiple location, EIN business module. Cons Dynamics Payroll leaves a lot to be desired, especially as a customer in the staffing industry. It does not allow for the flexibility of an employee basis that changes week-to-week. With time, it's also a pretty efficient and highly customizable CRM. Cons It's really not user-friendly, very difficult to navigate and to configure. Learning curve is huge, it takes a lot of time to understand how it works, and has a very austere environment. I'm not asking for a lot of colors and sounds, but still, they can really improve their UX. I think Dynamics 365 takes one of the leading positions in market. Pros There are two flavors of Dynamics 365. One is Business and the other is enterprise. The Business edition takes soles, financial, project management, purchasing as well as inventory management. This tool provides powerful analytical and business information report that is some of the best reporting capabilities in the market place. Dynamics 365 gives the users traditional Microsoft look and feel. I use this software and it’s so easy to use like Microsoft Word, Excel. Another advantage of Dynamics 365 is its flexibility and integration capability. When I compare Dynamics 365 with another product, I find that it’s able to configure work flows, either through configuration or extreme cases I need to change the software. Cons People who are not familiar to Microsoft products, may feel difficulties to use Dynamics 365. Dynamics 365 is a legacy product; the users license are minimums. It's customizability without additional cost for features per user (unlike SalesForce,) is what really sets it apart as a CRM. A good quality IT staff and Dynamics admin can make this program sing. Cons Out of the box, it is much too complex for the actual daily user. A Dynamics-pro admin (which is very hard to find) may love all the access, but a sales or customer support user has to use four clicks instead of one to complete simple daily tasks. That may sound like a small thing, but when there are hundreds of tasks to complete and calls to make in a day, extra clicks are a major productivity drain. Microsoft has recently almost doubled the cost per user per month while offering no upgrades to actual functionality, stability, or ease of use.
