The software permits businesses to share communications, leads as well as opportunities. Cons The software duplicates contacts since a single contact record can be used by more than one company. The software system can be slow especially when operating on edge. Its integration with Microsoft Outlook also reduces its speed. I'm a business intelligence guy, and adding Dynamics to the list of tools for analysis and visualization was definitely a good decision. Cons Although I like Dynamics, sometimes it felt like Microsoft was playing catch-up with some of the more established business intelligence tools. Cons If you are a user who uses s different format, such as google docs, this would be a difficult product to use, as it will not interface with your product as well as it does with Microsoft products. After a bit of training, I finding's it really helpful to keep track of every aspect of our business. Pros I love that it's customizable to our needs. It helps us track inventory (raw materials and finished products), orders, keep track of customer information, and so much more. It's fairly easy to use and we rarely have any problems with it. Cons It could be more visually appealing. It would also be great to be able to run on Mac computers because right now my company has to use parallels desktop to be able to run it on our Macs. Cons Takes a lot of time to configure and very limited out of the box functions, programming takes a lot of time and is very expensive. Upgrades are also extremely slow and painful. Microsoft trying to force cloud options on customers but those options do not meet our needs and we could not keep up with the upgrade cycles that are mandatory with cloud instances. It works well to provide good reports as well as resource management. Our billing is done through dynamics. However, the usability and performance can be improved. Pros Dynamics is quite powerful for a lot of business and administration tracking. However, it is not very easy to use. Every action on dynamics is a POST request that goes back to the server for validation. This includes even simple checkbox selects. This causes a lot of pain in trying to enter data especially while logging time where if some record has invalid data and you need to select another record, it becomes near impossible.
