Microsoft Dynamics 365 offers an incredible amount of customizable workflow and deep Office integration. It's genuinely possible to create a single, unified integration between your CRM, ERP, email/communications suite, and word processing/spreadsheet/presentation software.

Cons

All that incredible customization comes at a fairly steep price - either a huge investment in institutional knowledge, or pay untold dollars for a consultant who's generating a return on \*their\* investment.

This product needs some direction from a usability standpoint, otherwise competitors that have a clear vision will start to eat away at Microsofts pie. That said, it is entirely use-able, if not sometimes an exercise in frustration (at least from a front end, navigational perspective).

Pros

The glimmering of a competent application are here, but not fully realized yet. There is more flexibility than is readily apparent, and if you are willing to live with a substandard interface there is much that you can do.

Cons

We moved to dynamics from our old customer CRM, and it has been a little jarring to say the least. When you are first introduced to the interface it is not immediately apparent where everything is. From a front end perspective, things are hidden in odd menus, nothing is intuitive, and things almost seem a little "wacky" in a "why the heck would they put that there?" type of way.

You can design reports to the average, they can be integrated with other Microsoft tools, the information is centralized, it is multi currency, multi company.

Pros

I really like the possibility of integrating with project, excel, word in other words the integration with the whole Microsoft family

Cons

It is a little complex to integrate it with other products that are not Microsoft. The implementation on premise requires high performance hardware.

Pros

The extensive features that is available, especially for large manufacturing organisations where production, Bills of Material and inventory is vital. Ability to convert reports to excel at one click.

Cons

The inability to create adhoc reports, even things like changing invoice layout or updating company address is all hardcoded and can only be done by developers. Also chews a lot of system memory, needs powerful hardware for smooth operation. Can be slow depending on the volume.

Overall, it is a stable system that connects well with Office (and Outlook). Supports ADFS for single sign-on and it is customizable in the looks and the workflows. We have been using the system for 2+ years and we have never had anything big issue with it. One of the only things that we are still looking at is that the latest updates change the way some customization works. Since they are moving to make it more like CRM 365.

Pros

1) Easy of use. 2) Integration with Outlook (except with Outlook 2019) 3) It is all Microsoft's ecosystem.

Cons

1) Not so good integration with Outlook when the user has a large mailbox. (yes, I know Microsoft do not recommend letting the user grow a large mailbox, but it is a bit of Outlook and CRM's fault) 2) Not so good integration for mobile devices

Reason for choosing Dynamics 365

While all three options have similar features, the integration with microsoft products was the reason why we decided for it.

Great at strengthening B2C relationships with automated marketing. Everything was all in one place and made things very simple, whilst providing a professional and efficient experience.

Pros

Using Dynamics 365 was suprisingly very simple, but with features that supported in connecting and communciating with our customers. Dashboards provided the exact information needed at the time of using the software, as well as feeling assured that all data was safe and secure.

Cons

When dealing with multiple settingd across the company, I feel that the loading times of pages with lots of data on could be improved.

Even if you don't have a big business the idea of managing your all internal affairs with just this software is mind blowing. I can engage with my customers more easily, I can do marketing on my own projects too. It's just all-in-one tool for everything business related.

Cons

If i have to say something, the real issue about Dynamics 365 is same with other Microsoft products. You have to really invest some tutorial for using 100% of the features which I still can't.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM is one the best out there because it can be both CRM and ERP. It is best because of the kind of customization it provides. The businesses can decide on the process and customize the workflows accordingly rather than the other way around. The other names for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is Flexibility.

Cons

The only downside to Microsoft Dynamics CRM is its price, it is quite pricey. The implementation costs are also little high compared to other platforms.

Pros

I really love this product. I can easily customize the solution to meet our specific business objectives. I can then develop a solution to make it do even more. It's cheaper than its closest competitor and it does so much out of the box.

Cons

There's really no much to dislike. The support is good and there's a sandbox feature where you can test a change before going live.

Cons

As it happens with software this big there are always bugs. From time to time it crashes, but that happens rarely. Maybe problem of my hardware configuration. Also hard to use for new comers but it is advanced tool.

Provides a global view of customer data and contracts. It is a great help. It has tools that reduce data entry. You have access to the data where and when you need it with or without connection. It has customized versions adaptable to any company. Boosts productivity and user adaptation. It is easy to handle it.

Cons

The cost is very high. Discomfort during the implementation process. The risk that it is not effective and adaptable for our company as it could be for another. The risk that all data is supposed to be in the cloud instead of a server. Very few updates and very complex.

Both GP and CRM have a somewhat lower total cost of ownership and have allowed us to scale the solution throughout the organization.

Pros

We have been able to successfully integrate many in house applications into both platforms. Both are on premise due to the amount of enhancements and modifications required to meet the organizational needs. They are both offered in hosted cloud alternatives as well but are not quite as robust as of yet.

Cons

On the CRM side, obtaining adequate, skilled resources is somewhat of a challenge. On the GP side, as our organization has grown and become more International, many challenges have come forward requiring us to seek solutions outside the GP environment.

This software helps to gather statistic of customers purchases and to keep track of demographic info and monitor and manage the whole system.

Pros

We are using it for managing customer and product information. In addition, it allows us to synch customer data and to keep track of the behavior of our traffic on the website. The product is really helpful especially the UI, it is easily customizable. I like that I can keep track of all data we need to better run our company starting from demographic info, product info to customer purchasing patterns.

Cons

It could have been more UI intuitive, Navigation and user friendly for this Microsoft Dynamics CRM product.

This system is a 'one-stop-shop' for our company. Our finance, service, shipping, failure analysis and warehouse management is all managed through Microsoft Dynamics 365. It is nice having anywhere access and it looks like we'll be looking into adding the field services module in the future to add to our subscriptions under Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Cons

There is a ton of training needed for Microsoft Dynamics 365. When our company finally upgraded, it took us months to train different departments. The system is very complex and navigating through different reporting elements is a bit overwhelming. Also, the ability to create custom reports is not intuitive.

The best of Dynamics 365 is it's integration with the rest of Microsoft suite. It is everything connected and with a single license everything is available. It is also cloud based, so no matter you work on-site or remote you always have your assets controled and you never miss your planning.

Cons

As many ERP, Dynamics 365 is not an exception and it's use follow a very hard learning curve. Also it's cost could be high if you company is big. Dynamics 365 is very used across different companies, many times the platform does not fit in your work cycle and you have to change your way to work to integrate it in your company.
