Pros It is a system focused on administrative processes. You can see the financial information in real time. Being a product of Microsoft its graphical interface is user-friendly. The financial reports can be generated quickly. Cons There are processes that are not simple to configure, such as tax changes. The support we received takes a little bit. Ideal for small start ups as well as large companies especially multicountry multisite organizations with complex operational flows. Cons Does not provide a good add-on for group level consolidation. December 28, 2018 4.0 Overall, I think it's an excellent software package for a small business owner like myself. Pros Overall, I thought that Microsoft Dynamics offered a powerful suite of software for my business needs. I particularly loved the Management Reporter feature, and the ease of use it offered when it came to creating income and balance sheet statements. Cons The downside to this system is finding someone who has the knowledge and ability to reprogram the software as needed, for functionality and convenience. On your dashboard, it provides a quick overview of all your important information. It has gotten a lot more user friendly with concurrent updates. The field service feature is very useful and personally is what makes Microsoft Dynamics my premier solution. Cons Can be a little bit daunting at first to implement and has a slight learning curve, but once you pass that it becomes a lot easier to understand and use the software. Review Source RM Ron M. Cons Despite the fact that the appearance of the system is familiar and familiar, like most Microsoft products, nevertheless it is difficult to configure some modules. But once you figured out what and how it works, it's not difficult to re-configure the system. It took 4-5 years for the product to become stable enough to sell into the marketplace. Then, after its sale to Microsoft, the pricing increases put the product out of reach of many in the small and mid-level market. Pros In it's original form, Dynamics was ahead of the game in the 1990s. But little has changed since then while competitors has leapt past them in most features. Cons Little improvement in technology used since v1 in 1994. Very speedy since Microsoft acquired product in 2000. Pros Ease of use: control and view your inventory movements from your computer. Very easy to learn from self-troubleshooting all tabs. Organizational key to warehouse inventory management. I think for a B2B marketing team, it would've a better fit than for our retail, B2C team. Cons I am not sure if we had a bad IT consultant who set us up with the CRM, but for our purposes (retail), it was NOT an effective communication tool. Importing contacts was difficult, setting up analytics and metrics was also difficult. Sometimes it wouldn't deploy our emails; sometimes it would release the same email 4 times.
