### "Powerful Platform That Delivers, but Requires Investment to Get Right"

April 13, 2026

4.0

Overall, it’s been a positive experience, but one that improves significantly over time. Early on, it can feel a bit clunky and heavy, especially coming from simpler tools. But once it’s configured properly and the team is aligned on how to use it, it becomes a very capable platform. From an SDR lens, the biggest win is visibility and structure in the sales pipeline. You know where things are at, what’s moving, and what’s actually driving pipeline through campaigns. That’s critical in a high-volume environment. That said, it’s not a “set and forget” system. It needs ongoing attention - clean data, consistent processes, and decent internal ownership. If you’ve got that, it delivers strong value. If you don’t, it can feel like overkill. In short, a powerful platform that does the job well, but you’ve got to invest the time to make it work for you.

Pros

From an SDR point of view, the biggest strength is the depth across pipeline and campaign management. Once it’s properly set up, you’ve got clear visibility across the full sales pipe -lead to opportunity -without needing to jump between systems. Campaign tracking is solid as well, especially when it’s tied properly into reporting, so you can actually see what’s generating pipeline rather than guessing. There’s also strong value in how everything connects. Being part of the Microsoft ecosystem makes a difference -data flows well, reporting is robust, and you can build out automations that genuinely save time. When you’re working volume as an SDR, that efficiency matters. Overall, if you’re using it properly, it’s a powerful system that supports scale and gives you confidence in your data and pipeline.

Cons

The main downside is how much effort it takes to get there. Out of the box, it’s not particularly intuitive, and for SDRs trying to move quickly, that can be frustrating early on. Simple tasks can feel overcomplicated until everything’s been refined. There’s also a bit of friction in day-to-day use - too many clicks in certain workflows, and if the system isn’t well maintained, pipeline hygiene can slip pretty quickly. Campaign management is strong in theory, but it relies heavily on good setup and discipline; otherwise, it becomes messy and harder to trust. From a value perspective, it can feel expensive if you’re not fully utilising the features. You really need adoption across the team to justify the cost. Customer Support has been hit and miss when submitting tickets, but most software solutions are fairly the same there.

### "Powerful CRM Platform with Strong Microsoft Integration"

May 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales/CRM has been positive. I’ve been using the Microsoft Sales module for the past year, and it has helped streamline sales processes, improve account management, and provide better visibility into customer and partner interactions through email tracking and activity history. Once you become familiar with the platform, it becomes a very powerful CRM solution, especially when integrated with other Microsoft tools like Outlook for communication tracking and Copilot for generating AI-powered summaries and insights for accounts and opportunities.

Pros

What I liked most about Microsoft Dynamics 365 is how easy it is to use for managing sales pipelines and customer relationships. I primarily use the Sales module, and it does a great job of helping me track accounts, opportunities, and sales qualified leads (SQLs) in an organized way. I also like how it integrates well with Microsoft tools like Outlook, Copilot, and Power BI is a major advantage and helps improve productivity.

Cons

While Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a powerful CRM platform, certain aspects of the Sales and Customer Engagement modules can feel less intuitive and flexible compared to other CRMs like Salesforce, particularly when it comes to customization and workflow management. Some day to day sales activities, such as activity tracking, call management, and workflow automation, may require additional configuration or other third-party integrations to achieve the same seamless experience that Salesforce offers out of the box.

We made the switch because Dynamics 365 provided better integration with our existing Microsoft environment and offered a more cost-effective solution as we scaled our CRM needs.

### "Stick with Salesforce or Hubspot"

June 9, 2026

2.0

It was terrible. With Salesforce you can quickly set pricing, create Proposals, get them signed, submit them, and have the product drop shipped and invoice sent out. Dynamics 365? Yikes - switch between multiple windows from Business Central to Dynamics 365 and back.

Pros

I liked that it brought a CRM into the whole M365 Platform. The sales funnel was decent as well, but not great.

Cons

Where do I begin? As someone who used Salesforce for 10+ years, I had no idea how badly an awkward CRM can mess up your entire sales cycle.

### "Cumbersome, outdated, and expensive system"

April 14, 2026

3.0

I think if we had the chance to select a new system again, we would definitely select differently. The system is very cumbersome, users have a hard time self-servicing and need a lot of hand-holding for simple entry and analysis. I also find the reporting is atrocious. Its archaic and difficult to use and update.

Pros

We find there is a lot of Microsoft support materials available to help, and putting in a Microsoft ticket is often helpful. The banking connectivity, reconciliation, and banking rules are super easy to set up and work really well when designed properly. Huge time saver on bank reconciliations.

Cons

Dynamics is simply a re-skinned Great Plains and FRX reporter from the early 2000's. Functionality and many of the issues still exist, which makes it difficult to use and navigate. I find Dynamics licenses and cost of maintenance are still very expense for the value provided. You have to use a third party consultant (or internal support) to implement and project management which was quite costly and cumbersome.

### "Strong Capabilities, but Reliability Needs Improvement"

February 9, 2026

4.0

Pros

What I liked most about Dynamics 365 is how easy and natural it feels to use in day-to-day work. The campaign management features are very effective, especially for marketing events where it’s simple to track who subscribed, who attended, and understand the overall turnaround, giving teams clear visibility without extra effort. For salespeople, it removes a lot of the usual admin - meetings are quick to log, and the Microsoft 365 integration makes a real difference, allowing calls to be made directly from the platform while automatically capturing and recording meetings. It streamlines processes, saves time, and helps everyone stay organised without feeling overly complicated.

Cons

it can sometimes feel unreliable due to frequent bugs, which can interrupt workflows and slow things down. The search function, in particular, doesn’t always work as expected, making it frustrating when you’re trying to quickly find contacts or information. Another limitation is the lack of functionality to clearly distinguish between a quick “hi/hello” phone call and a more meaningful business conversation - both tend to be logged in the same way, which can be misleading when reviewing client engagement.

### "Dynamics 365: Feature‑Rich and Transformative for Teams"

March 6, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Dynamics 365 has been strong because it brings so many moving parts of a business into one connected platform, making it easier to see the full picture and act on it. Once you get past the initial learning curve, the system feels powerful and flexible—automation, reporting, and integrations all work together to streamline daily operations. Collaboration improves because teams aren’t working in silos, and having real‑time data available across modules helps with faster, more confident decision‑making. While there are moments where the interface feels dense or certain customizations require technical expertise, the platform ultimately delivers a robust, unified environment that can genuinely elevate how a business runs.

Pros

One of the things I liked most about Dynamics 365 is how seamlessly it brings different business functions together—sales, service, finance, operations, and marketing all live in one connected ecosystem. That unified approach means data flows naturally between teams, giving everyone a clearer picture of customers and processes without jumping between disconnected tools. The platform also feels incredibly adaptable; whether you’re automating workflows, customizing dashboards, or integrating with other Microsoft apps, it gives you the flexibility to shape it around your business rather than forcing you into rigid structures.

Cons

One thing I liked least about Dynamics 365 is that its complexity can feel overwhelming at times—there’s a noticeable learning curve, especially when navigating advanced modules or configuring custom workflows. The interface, while powerful, can occasionally feel cluttered, and some tasks require more clicks than you’d expect. Additionally, performance can vary depending on the environment, and certain customizations or integrations may require more technical expertise than smaller teams typically have.

It is great, it is valuable for a big company having different sectors and department only need to pay for one software all others are included in it.

Pros

Easy to use all MS office available at one place. Makes easy for invoicing. Project management and HR software also available. Customer support is quick and efficient.

Cons

Some bugs and issues but regular updates are available. Sometimes it takes some time to load but its fine. It depends on the organization and network.

### "Esperienza altalenante"

March 25, 2026

3.0

Pros

### "Dynamics 365 is powerful but too complicated for small teams"

May 15, 2026

4.0

We started using Dynamics 365 last year for our sales and finance management. Its really strong software but feels like its made for big companies. For daily work its okay after training but many times we waste time fighting with the system. Good for medium to large businesses but if you're small maybe look for simpler options. Still using it because data is safe and integrated but not fully satisfiied with the pricee

Pros

The best part is everything is in one place - sales, invoicing, customer tracking, banking transactions all connected. Reports are very detailed and the automation saves time once you set it up. Microsoft support was helpful when we had big issues.i guess it's value for money overall and easy to use .

Cons

Its way too expensive for small business like us. The learning curve is very steep, took almost 2 months for my team to get comfortable. Sometimes it becomes slow and there are random bugs with invoicing and bank sync. Customization is powerful but needs developer help which costs extra...

### "Dynamics 365 Scalablity "

April 5, 2026

5.0

Dynamics 365 is the bedrock of our company and is used constantly. Outside the lag from being overly customized, the refreshed system now works more efficiently and seamlessly. There are great training resources available for new hires that are learning the system, and the cost has been worth the success of the software.

Pros

Dynamics 365 (D365) is our ERP that we use across our company. This software is the foundation of our sales and is a significant part of our business operations. The ability to scale based on our needs as our company has grown has been a true asset, and the cost was supportive of our company's budget. Our employees that interact with the platform report ease of use with the system and managers appreciate the reporting features. We have been able to customize the platform to meet our needs and the products we sell.

Cons

While the system is highly customizable, we have found that the more customization, the slower the platform, to the point where we went back to default. It does offer customer service, however the issues we had based on the over customization was a costly update.

### "Very Good Customer Relationship Management Tool"

February 25, 2026

5.0

My experience with Dynamics 365 has been positive and I am happy to be exposed to such a well working complex system, it has provided lots of learning lessons and made me realise how certain sections within our business manage their campaigns and provide customer support on a daily basis.

Pros

Dynamic's 365 is a very good customer relationship management tool that allows our business to be productive and organised, by allowing us to maintain essential contact with customers whilst also keeping an audit of conversations and documents for audit purposes. Being an IT administrator the thing I like most is how easy it is to delegate permissions to people within our business to control their level of access to certain environments within dynamics 365.

Cons

There is nothing I would say I dislike about dynamics 365, however we do have some intermittent problems with certain add ins we use such as the CRM to Genesys softphone not loading for our advisers and contact centre agents which can cause some operational issues from time to time. However this is not a big deal as we have developed ways to get around this / resolve this when it occurs.

November 17, 2025

5.0

We use Dynamics 365 for a wide range of functions. Primarily our entire ERP system is running all 7 of our companies through one interface. We use this constantly, every day.

Pros

The possibilities with Dynamics 365 are endless. If you can think of it, there's likely a way to integrate it into your system.

Cons

It is not always very user friendly. You will likely need to invest in some training and info sessions to fully understand how to use all the functions.

### "Powerful, but not very intuitive"

May 15, 2026

3.0

My overall experience has been mixed. Dynamics 365 is powerful and clearly capable, but it can also feel heavy, confusing and frustrating to use day to day. It works best when a company invests time in setup, training and support. Without that, it can slow people down more than it should.

Pros

Dynamics 365 is very comprehensive and can bring a lot of business processes into 1 place. I liked that it connects well with other Microsoft tools and can support sales tracking, customer records, invoicing and reporting. Once it’s set up properly, it can give teams a useful overview of activity and performance.

Cons

The biggest issue is ease of use. I’ve used many different systems and Dynamics 365 is one of the least intuitive. Simple tasks can take too many clicks and the layout isn’t always clear. It often feels like a system built for administrators rather than everyday users.

### "Powerful and Flexible, with a Steep Learning Curve"

April 15, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Dynamics 365 has been largely positive. It’s a powerful and flexible platform that works especially well for organizations already embedded in the Microsoft ecosystem. The tight integration with tools like Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Power BI made collaboration and data management more seamless, and the ability to customize workflows, dashboards, and reporting allowed it to support complex business processes. That said, it does come with a steep learning curve and can be resource‑intensive to implement and maintain. With proper training and support, however, Dynamics 365 becomes a robust, scalable solution for managing operations and customer relationships.

Pros

What I liked most about Dynamics 365 was how well it integrates with the broader Microsoft ecosystem. The seamless connection with Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint made it easy to manage data, communicate, and collaborate without constantly switching between systems. I also appreciated its flexibility—being able to customize workflows, dashboards, and reporting allowed it to adapt well to different business needs. Overall, it felt like a powerful, centralized platform for managing information and processes efficiently.

Cons

What I liked least about Dynamics 365 was its complexity and learning curve, especially during initial setup and customization. While the platform is very powerful, it can feel overwhelming to configure without dedicated technical support or training. Performance can also be an issue at times, particularly with large datasets or heavily customized environments, and licensing costs can add up quickly depending on the modules and users required. Overall, it can feel resource‑intensive compared to simpler CRM or ERP solutions.

### "Multi-country and multi-language capable platform."

July 14, 2025

5.0

Dynamics 365 enables the efficient processing and management of often highly customized B2B procurement processes. Furthermore, new sales projects can be activated extremely quickly in our environment. Finally, the system is highly scalable in terms of the data volumes and traffic to be managed.

Pros

This platform offers good solutions for multi-country and multi-language requirements and above all, appears to be highly scalable and performance oriented. Operational support is well positioned and responsive. I'm impressed by the solution's combination of cutting-edge technology, high performance and scalability. The fast loading times and robust architecture guarantee a seamless experience even with complex B2B requirements.

Cons

Although the backend takes the extensive possibilities into account, it is currently not really self-explanatory and at first glance, somewhat brittle in its operation.

May 1, 2025

Our experience has been mixed, mostly due to poor implementation partners. While I believe in the power of the software and its capabilities, it does not seem like it is an industry-leading CRM at this point. However, I'm hopeful that it will get to that point with further investment from Microsoft.

Pros

The platform is very robust with different modules and infinite capabilities, from sales to service management to marketing, to HR. I appreciate Microsoft's commitment to improvement in technology by integrating things like Teams and Copilot into our CRM workflow.

Cons

Microsoft makes you work with costly implementation partners to set up your system. The system also does not integrate naturally with Business Central on the accounting side. Make updates to the system can also take some time to learn through the advanced settings.

### "Dynamics 365 - Simple, user friendly, and get's the job done"

June 10, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Dynamics 365 has been positive but it doesn’t have the WOW factor that other CRMs offer. While it gets the job done efficiently and provides solid functionality, the interface and features lack that extra level of innovation and polish seen in other platforms. It's reliable!

Pros

Dynamics 365 is an excellent tool due to its simplicity and user-friendliness. The intuitive interface makes navigation easy, and the seamless integration of features enhances productivity. It’s perfect for businesses looking for an efficient, streamlined solution without a steep learning curve.

Cons

The dashboard could use an upgrade for better user experience. The current layout makes it difficult to quickly access and display key metrics. Customization options are limited compared to competitors and it takes extra steps to view and analyze data, which can be frustrating for users who need to make quick, data-driven decisions.

### "Powerful and Flexible Platform with a Learning Curve"

April 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Dynamics 365 has been positive. While there is a learning curve and some complexity, its powerful features, flexibility, and ability to centralize business processes make it a valuable tool for improving efficiency and decision-making.

Pros

What I liked most about Dynamics 365 is how it unifies CRM and ERP into one platform, making it easy to manage operations and customer data in one place. It’s flexible, customizable, and provides useful insights through its built-in analytics

Cons

What I liked least about Dynamics 365 is that it can feel complex and overwhelming at times, especially during the initial setup and learning phase. Customization, while powerful, can require technical expertise, and performance can occasionally be slow depending on the configuration.
