Acess to the data was the benefit even if I had to export it into Excel to be able to make sense of it.

Pros

Centralization of all customer data is key to getting the most from any enterprise solution. Having a single source reference database is important.

Cons

Getting useful data out of the system is difficult. Reporting always suffers leaving users to export raw data into familiar tools like excel in order to analyze and make decisions.

All their executive developers seem to have moved to SalesForce. I assume I will, too.

Pros

It allowed our company to customize modules for atypical data, create a simplified dashboard, and run task management well.

Cons

The calendar functionality is 20+ years out of date; ease of use, functionality, no reminder times, poor interface for date and time selection. They have made wholesale changes to the social pane (Notes in particular) that require multiple clicks to open chronological progress of data from notes. This is not reversible at the user level, and is terrible for work flow. Dynamics is unbelievably unresponsive to the small user, and seems to create a layer of irresponsibility for addressing problems, by hiring a 3rd party vendor to supply tech support who lead with " this is something we can't fix at our level"

Pros

Dynamics 365 is a Microsoft produced software which is best for Windows desktops but is also available for Mac. Since it is by Microsoft, integration with Microsoft office tools is possible and can make the software better and the task at hand manageable. The software can be integrated with Outlook for e-mail management and Excel for financial management and reports. The software is simple and very minimalistic when it comes to its lay out. Mobile application is also available for this software, making it portable.

Cons

The usage of the software is complex and needs a lot of practice. It is not recommended for beginners or those with little experience with the software. With a lot of knowledge with the software, the software can become really useful.

We implemented this software in 4 months time by migrating from AX2012. It is meeting almost all business requirements. The Master Planning & Production modules are very powerful.

Cons

The product lags behind on the reporting front. Every report has to be built as per our need.

Overall the solution looked good, it was easy to use and had a lot of functionality. It was a 1 stop shop do call and email with being able to leave notes and review customer account history. When a customer called us their profile auto generated in the system which was super useful.

Pros

Our organization had a custom setup for Microsoft Dynamics. We were able to track our calls, wrote emails out of the solution, answer phone calls, use the solution to dial out, use to solution to save templates in and the click path was simple and easy to use.

Cons

I was not able to leave reminder calls or have auto generated emails to go out.

We use Dynamics to track customer communications and simple project management.

Pros

We switched from another CRM to Dynamics after biting the bullet and going full O365. I have to say, I'm impressed with the product. It's a powerhouse of a CRM, with tons of integrations. I love the user interface and the way it works seamlessly with other Microsoft products, even on a Mac.

Cons

It's pricey for a CRM, especially when you've got products like HubSpot that just give this functionality away for free.

Many of my colleagues use Dynamics and none of them have were disappointed with it up to my knowledge. Dynamics helps us save our time and manage my work with a pleasurable user experience.

Pros

This software helps me to manage my tasks at office effectively and lets me keep in touch with our customers, who are not available always to meet in person. The feature I like most is how Dynamics prepare me for taking my appointments without much work. It helps me manage my projects and lets me see the progress with attractive charts and graphical representation.

Cons

My phone tends to be stuck when I'm using the app but I think that's due to the number of apps I run simultaneously. They can improve it by adding the screen rotation feature which will come in handy

The GUI isn't great, but then again who cares?

I’m a consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. The biggest challenge for the businesses we implement Dynamics is the adoption of the software. If the users cannot understand the software well, they may go back to their previous software or manual way, because those do not require much thinking. Usually the previous software is simple, not much functionalities, and they are used to it.

Pros

Powerful, covers almost all the aspect of your business, scalability and extensibility, the extensions on the app source can make it work for any business.

Cons

For new users who never worked on Dynamics 365 before, it may not that easy to understand how everything works. The functionalities are too much for users to follow through.

Reason for choosing Dynamics 365

Users usually switch to Dynamics because the functionalities of other software is too limited. That restricts their business to grow.

This software can do a great number of things, the configuration of the system seems endless and the possibilities are enormous.

Cons

The biggest con is the support, dealing with support for issues installing the server or dealing with a SharePoint integration issue can take from weeks to months to come to a conclusion.

Overall I am pleased with this tool and would suggest for small to medium sized businesses.

Pros

This is an easy CRM platform to capture critical data to enhance sales opportunities, increase customer satisfaction and execute sales analysis. Data can be exported into Excel or pdf formats to be shared, reviewed or analyzed. I particularly like exporting to Excel where I can create pivot tables for specific data.

Cons

With other CRM platforms becoming increasingly proficient, Dynamics needs to provide enhancements so users can store, retrieve and analyze robust data. For example, Salesforce can allow users to create more workflow efficiency by eliminating non essential functions or possible duplications of work. This adds much needed productivity within the operation and removes the possibility of errors.

We use outlook for most of our emailing requirements and the ability of this software to integrate with outlook has empowered the working without any significant changes.

Cons

The online version is a little slower in displaying and processing data. This is sometimes annoying when you need to process things faster.
