Overall, Dynamics 365 has been a reliable solution for managing customer data and business processes. The newer AI capabilities, better integrations, and automation features have improved productivity, although there's still room to simplify some of the more advanced configurations.

Pros

Dynamics 365 has evolved into a much more complete business platform. I like how well it integrates with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, and features like Copilot help speed up routine tasks. The reporting and workflow automation capabilities have also improved significantly.

Cons

The platform is feature-rich, but that also means there's a learning curve for new users. Some advanced customizations and integrations still require experienced developers to implement and maintain effectively.

I can easily manage several parts of my business at the same time, whether it’s customer relationships or some internal tasks, and it lets me have an overall view without getting too lost between different tools.

Pros

The tool is pretty complete and when you use it, you can tell it was designed for businesses that want to better organise how they work after using Salesforce Sales Cloud.

Cons

It’s not always easy to get the hang of, especially at the start. There are a lot of features and you can quickly feel a bit lost. Setting it up also takes time and sometimes you need a bit of help.

ai insights icon chrome icon google docs icon Dynamics 365 is a powerful platform that we're honestly probably only scratching the surface of given our resources and team size. It works for what we're using it for across our retail operations and donor tracking, but it's the kind of tool that rewards organizations who have the bandwidth to really invest in it. Which isn't always easy for a nonprofit. We make it work, but there's a gap between what it can do and what we're actually getting out of it.

Pros

The integration with our existing Microsoft 365 environment is the biggest plus. Since we're already deep in that ecosystem, having Dynamics 365 pull data from tools our team already uses day to day cuts down on duplicate entry and keeps things a little more connected. For tracking donor relationships and managing contacts across our retail locations it's capable enough, and the reporting dashboards give leadership a decent view of operational activity without having to pull from multiple sources. When it's configured right it can handle a lot.

Cons

The complexity is the real barrier. This is not a platform you just hand to staff and expect them to figure out, the learning curve is significant and it often feels like you need a dedicated person just to manage and configure it properly. For a nonprofit our size it can feel like a lot of overhead for what we actually need it to do day to day. Customizing it to fit our specific workflows has also taken more time and outside help than we anticipated going in.

It is not user friendly. It does not have any visual cues options so it can make it easy for some errors to occur in billing and other transactions. If you don’t need that then go for it. Training new staff on it is difficult. You can’t customize your own roles view easily. If you’re purely a back end automation user it’s pretty alright. It’s not really customer facing.

Pros

We use Dynamics for our CRM because it’s customizable. Dynamics is cost efficient for a larger company 20 employees or more. It supports sales tracking and member communications as well as classroom roster features. In that sense it does support communication between customers and staff and allows the team to effectively support customers.

Cons

It can be sometimes having a lot of bugs and we have a tech guy full time dedicated to looking after it.

The cost is high, especially for small businesses. The implementation requires expert swell-placed .

Pros

It’s a very powerful solution but clearly more suited for large companies or a growing organization. than for others.

Cons

Dynamics 365 is very complete because it brings together CRM and ERP in one solution. it is integrated with Microsoft (Teams, Excel, Outlook). so that connection is a huge strong point.

All goods so far! Been with company who's using the software for over 4 years and still meeting our expectation.

Pros

Still reliable, easy to be customized, able to create the view the way the dashboard we wanted to see.

Cons

I think some major update with feature take a little more time compare to the other we have used such as Monday.com but still better than the other platforms

Pros

Professional system that allows for big data, good flows and lots of opportunities to continue to optimize workflows. Many important add-ons that need to be configured

Cons

Often times there is another add-on, that it is easy to forget about needing configuration, because the native solution does not support certain function.

I really enjoy using this service and I was able to get work done effectively with it. I honestly have a good time using them this past year.

Pros

I have been having a better experience with this app at work and was able to use it daily with no issues.

Cons

I personally don't have any issues with them this year and did not need to call the tech support for any issues.
