Pros

  • I love the text prompts for Google Reviews it makes it super easy and convenient for patients to review us on Google. Also love the appointment text reminders, it helps reduce no shows.

  • The text messaging between patients is awesome. The reviews being sent out automatically has increased our reviews and most important is the ease of use.

  • Ability for patients to self book their own appointments is excellent. Love that we can text from our own phone number.

  • I love that we get to hear the feedback of our patients. It is both helpful when we receive good feedback that can be shared on Google and Facebook as well as ways we could improve.

Cons

  • I would lie to be able to turn off notifications for appointment reminders even when the patient cancels a couple of hours prior to his appointment.

  • I have had feedback that the scheduling app is hard to get to use, while others (most of my patients) rave about it.

  • Sometimes the software gets confused when we add in a same day appointment. Because of that, the patient gets an additional text and they get confused.

  • It gives the patient an outlet to let us know how we could do better before they leave us a negative review.

"Excellent service!"

Overall: From the beginning, Review Wave has been exceptional. The training was thorough and setup and use has been super easy. Any time there is an issue their customer service always assists us fast and resolves any issues.

Pros: I love the text prompts for Google Reviews.....it makes it super easy and convenient for patients to review us on Google. Also love the appointment text reminders, it helps reduce no shows.

Cons: Sometimes the appointment text reminders do not go out and that causes some no shows since patients rely on those reminders.

Switched From: Demandforce
Reasons for Switching to Review Wave: The reviews would not post to Google Reviews, which did not make us visible on the web. We had too many instances of the service not working and appointment reminders not going out.

"Great Product, Great Support, Bet on This Winner"

Overall: Amazing. Great support, quick availability, help with forms.

Pros: Great support, intuitive interface, integrates into Platinum and website. Also has an app so patients can control their appointments. Appointment reminders go out by email and text from our office phone number that patient's can reply directly to.

Cons: Dynamic forms are amazing, but tedious to put together. Could be an easier process.

Alternatives Considered: SKED
Reasons for Choosing Review Wave: SKED lacked some features that ReviewWave had, including the lack of ability to receive texts from people NOT in your database. To SKED's credit, I let them know the reasons I had to leave their platform and they implemented all of the changes I suggested within a few months.

"WATCH OUT! I would NOT use them"

Overall: I would NOT use Aloha / Review Wave. They are average in effectiveness and terrible at customer service.

Pros: Did okay at reaching out to patients for reviews. Texting was the most helpful feature.

Cons: Most of the reviews were internal reviews for review wave which did not mean anything. Once they left an internal review, most people DID NOT want to go leave a Google review. WATCH OUT FOR CANCELLATION CONTRACTS! I changed EHR contracts and had to pay almost $1000 in cancellation fees when I needed to leave. They require 60 day cancellation. They Do Not Care.

"Review Wave"

Overall: We love Review Wave. Our overall experience has been top notch

Pros: We love Review Wave. Getting the Google reviews has been a great boost our office was needing.

Cons: There isn’t much I don’t like. It has great function in all aspects.

"Review Wave allows us to provide better customer service"

Overall: We are saving so much time by not having to text appointment reminders to each patient individually. It is so nice to be able to send out group or individual texts. This software also allows us to communicate more effectively with our patients and they don't always want to take the time to call and can just send a text. We also like that we can use the app on our phones to send and receive messages on the go.

Pros: This software is very user friendly and has many options to fine tune it to each individual business. It allows for better communication and less missed appointments. They also offer great customer service.

Cons: The campaigns are a little trickier to use but there are more steps involved.

Reasons for Choosing Review Wave: We liked the reviews we read and the many different options that were available for us to use in our business. Not only can we communicate more effectively with patients but also they can leave reviews for us that help build up our business.
Switched From: ChiroTouch
Reasons for Switching to Review Wave: ChiroTouch was always having glitches and would not always work and did not have as many flexible options to use. Customer service was not as good.
