Can't tell you how great that felt. Pros In less than 10 minutes, I can send a personalized email, with content attached, to 100+ prospects and clients. Can't get better than that for a sales professional whose business depends on frequent, personal, on-target communications. Cons Managing lists is somewhat non-intuitive, and customizing fields in lists where you plan to import data can be a little tricky. It keeps getting better, it’s super reliable. I haven’t had much luck getting my non-techie friends to use it on their own. I also did a mailing list on mlm. Pros The control that I have over my mailings. The price is right. The support has always been great too. Cons I have to customize my emails outside of the software and upload my embedded images. But, I have found a great service for that part now so it’s not so pretty perfect now. The only other thing is I used mailing list manager with it in my site and I think it may have gotten hacked. Very often the recipients found the e-mails in spam, there was no possibility to ask to unsubscribe and the sending took place in blocks of 100, then you had to wait for the sending to restart. There are many ways to add an unsubscribe link or button to your message. It produces great results results when i use it to email promotions to my client base of 10,000. Far superior to social media Facebook etc Pros It enables me to reach my customers to drive sales with promotion far better than social media Cons My email provider will not let me use your software to send large #’s of emails to my customers (10,000). If you have the technical chops to manage all the pieces, you have a very flexible platform that I have recommended many times. Scheduling and throttling are particularly useful. Then about three months ago needed to do some more mass mail outs, and looked at what was available in terms of supporting software / systems, but came back to MaxBulk Mailer Really like the user interface It just works!! How easy it is to create HTML/Text-based emails with dynamic content, set up recipient lists, server settings and receive mail out feedback. Cons I feel that the interface is dated and not as intuitive as it could be in this day and age. Reason for choosing MaxBulk Mailer I did a lot of research and weighed price vs. functionality... Lecturer Research Used the software for: 2+ years ### "The best solution I found for a small interest-group mailing list" October 31, 2019 4.0 I run a small (ca 500 subscribers) mailing list for scientists intereted in research on social insects, so I wanted a software solution that would allow me to manage my subscriber list, create mail messages using templates, and integrate with a reputable SMTP provider to distribute the approximately monthly information mails that I send out. MaxBulk Mailer did all this on the Mac platform. I switched to the software about 5 years ago, having previously used "Intellimerge", which was discontinued. MaxBulk Mailer is a much more capable program, and I know that I am only using a fraction of its capabilities, but it suits my needs at a reasonable price. Pros Stability, Integration with SMTP mail services, simple templates, effective subscriber management. Cons The program must be re-launched to effectively create a new message. Review Source Mark R. However, I am now using Direct Mail (see "cons", below). Cons 1) MB Mailer did not work well with my home internet provider (Cox Communications). I had to tether computer to my phone to send emails. 2) Mailing lists did not sync across computers. This made it difficult to manage mailings. 3) Unable to maintain mailing lists to which people could subscribe or unsubscribe. Cons User needs to make too much configurations to make it works, specially to make the important resources to work, such as the reports. Nowadays people need information not just send emails, thus the reports are quite important, on the other hand the system demands you to have a server and make difficult set ups. I have personally already contacted your support and suggested you to rearrange this set up in your system so it can send by mail the reports, moreover if the output file is to large (above X mb) your system can automatically split it into 2 or 3 emails. And if you encounter something you need help with, the tech support is superb! Pros My background is largely with page makeup / desktop publishing programs like InDesign so I'm somewhat critical of other programs that call on some of the same talents. And MaxBulk Mailer is the only bulk mail program I have ever used. From the beginning I have found it easy to set up and to use. Cons There are some aspects of it that I wish were a little closer to doing the way they can be done in InDesign. But keep in mind that I am talking about desktop publishing functions.
