### "Stax - Better than the rest!"

Overall is 10/10 I've shopped around for other solutions and no one else can compare. On either price or support.

Pros

While is becoming a larger and larger you still maintain communications with their fantastic US based support team who will do EVERYTHING in their power to chase down any issue you may have.

Cons

Rate changes can be hard to follow however that is due to the underlying processor changing and works with you to ensure smooth processing.

Great experience. Had such a good history with , I’m not using it at my second office that recently opened

Pros

is very easy to use. It also has simple billing and reasonable fees compared to other terminals

Cons

Not really much. It would’ve been nice if the online terminal was free to use as part of the subscription

Easy to sign up but worst experience getting simple but critical technical issues. Support and leadership both have been disappointing ao far.

Pros

Processing rates are competitive, even though they are higher than promised. Sales team was responsive enough.

Cons

Support is extremely slow and incompetent to resolve critical issues even after 6 weeks of reporting. Even the leadership doesn't understand how much 'compliance violation' can hurt a merchant and itself.

I’m happy with it. If the direct deposit occurred next business day morning. That’s my only real gripe.

Pros

I like the ease of set up. And that you can use multiple devices to run the dongle. It makes it easy.

Cons

I’m frustrated that deposits are not always next business day. Sometimes it happens next day others two days. Sometimes it’s there early in the morning others late in the afternoon.

Very satisfied and affordable processing company. It's easy to understand their fees and status of payments.

Pros

They are great with communicating with the business owner, they even helped with completing the PCI compliance forms.

Cons

No cons yet. The app and SimpleSwipe are extremely easy to use tools for payment processing. Would highly recommend

Overall customer service is a great time to work with. They actually talk to you on the phone. they are on top of every problem. The device itself is a different story.

Pros

it is easy to use. Online access is easy to understand. Payment processing is easy. Learning curve was self explanatory.

Cons

I do not like that it does not have a option to print a receipt or that you can't email receipt unless you pay extra money. System is to old to hook up the our advanced wifi.

It was a bit getting working properly. However, I am very satisfied at this point and happy I am using Stax processing.

Pros

Customers spend more when they can pay by card instead of cash. Businesses that accept cards often see higher sales and larger purchases because customers aren’t limited by cash on hand. Credit cards also encourage impulse buying. Simply put: more payment options = more completed sales.

Cons

Customer service is very good but it some times takes a while to reach someone. Having said that I am happy with customer service overall.

I like the fact that there is just one set monthly fee. It takes the guess work out of trying to navigate credit card fees each month.

Nothing yet. This is our first month with then and I haven't found anything yet that I don't like. So far so good!

I think more customer service reps would be a good idea. Initially we were referred to Dejavoo and kept being disconnected, which was annoying.

easy process from day 1, getting set up, we had guidance each step of the way as needed, the portal is easy to use when needed and the pricing structure is easy to understand

Pros

Easy to use, saving me tons of money on CC transaction fees monthly, any time I have a questions, someone helps immediately!

Cons

I don't love that the cc processor cant be used unplugged but it is no biggie! No other complaints or problems!

Pros

saved me .5% off my monthly bill, which doesn't seem like much but REALLY added up fast. Add to that the process was quick and easy and it's a no brainer.

Cons

Nothing much to say in the "don't like" camp. I guess that I had to buy my own terminal? But that's anywhere and the savings paid for the terminal within months.

Overall positive - Our start - up person, Madelyn, was great to work with! Helped us during the entire start up process.

Pros

Our company is spending less for CC transactions than we ever have before. Other company didn't seem to care how much they were charging a small business.

Cons

Nothing yet - too early to tell. The application was pretty intensive, but I understnd why it is like that.

Pros

Love the ease of use, very intuitive and operational very friendly. Also, less expensive than our previous provider.

Cons

The text when cleared through our bank is not clear, not associated with the client. It is like detective work to figure out who paid.

Customer support very helpful along the way during the entire set up as well as after the fact. Rep continues to be helpful even after set up

Cons

I dont think there was anything. If I had to choose, there may have been some things during set up that I wasnt aware of that caused a few delays, but nothing big.

Excellent experience overall. The system is simple to navigate and easy to learn. Super user friendly, and whenever a issue arises, their support staff handle it quickly and tactfully.

Pros

is by far the most user friendly payment processor I've ever used. It is quick and easy, and give customers a variety of way to submit payment. Their support staff is also fantastic. I get quick solutions and support and the techs are always friendly and knowledgeable. Navigating the system is simple and it's easy to learn all the ways to utilize the system quickly. The ability to invoice clients and email them directly is so convenient.

Cons

I have not had any cons thus far in my experience with . I've been using them for about 2 years now.

We have been with for ~8 years and it's been good. My only complaint is they have not updated system to integrate with auto matching payments to QB in 8 years....maybe needs a little more research/development.

Pros

Great customer service, I appreciate \[sensitive content hidden\] being available on a Saturday afternoon to assist me in getting into Cardx.

Cons

The thing I like least about is that is does not integrate with Quickbooks by auto matching the transactions. I have to go in manually every month and match them.

We like that our offices can also use the website that is provided to take payments incase another staff member is using the terminal. Also, that we can see our payments on the portal.

Cons

Nothing bad to say, every team member is great and handles everything in a timely manner. In every situation we ran into, the problem has been resolved.

I never initially signed up for Payments as they bought out the company I initally signed up with. The other company, Payment Depot, had great service, super friendly and nice always. As stated, they never had anything that set themselves apart that you can't get at any other company. Their biggest thing I felt is how their customer service at Stax is not good at all, they don't care about you, especially at 10-year long customer at that. You are cattle as a customer here. Why join them? You don't really save any money any more compared to anyone else, so why join them? There is no advantage of being a customer of Stax Payments. Goto a company that will treat you right and really want to earn your business, which Stax doesn't try to earn, its almost like expected. Yuck. Shop around, they are a little cheaper and really not much cheaper than Square their biggest competitor and Square at least has all sorts of great analytics dashboards, great service, and they pay out a whole lot fast even same day payouts if you need! Go elsewhere, forget Stax. By the way I have no ties whatsoever to Square, just using them as an example of a better option and there are probably even better options than them, but all of them are better than Stax Payments.

Pros

Honestly, nothing really stood out because they didn't have any cool features that were different from any other processor.

Cons

Their payments took 3-5 days to clear, customer service is not that good, and they always found every way they could to increase my prices monthly. They nickel and dime and don't go to bat for you.

Cons
