It is easy to use and being as we have such a distributed workforce it really helps keep all of the records straight and reminds us when insurance cards and registrations need updating for different vehicles. The ability to have weekly and monthly checklists for each vehicle has been great as well. Just let me know where you would like me to post a review. Cons If you fill up a vehicle multiple times in a day like on a long trip, the system can get confused about the previous odometer reading. It pulls from the wrong entry and the system seems to not show order of fill up correctly. Fleet Manager Facilities Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "The most user-friendly fleet management software out there" May 21, 2021 5.0 Autosist has helped me keep accurate and up to date records on the 25 vehicles that we have in our fleet. I like that I can keep all of the records in one location and I never have to worry about saving my work, as its all automatically saved. The design layout makes it easy to select one of the vehicles in our fleet and all of the information is instantly displayed. The software is very easy to use and learn, without sacrificing key features. Whenever I need to recall service records, it is simple to click on the vehicle in question, and all of the information is displayed along with any of the data that I inputted. Pros There are many options out there for fleet management software, but I ended up choosing Autosist because it is not unnecessarily complicated like some of the other options out there. It is the most user-friendly option and it is not cluttered with a bunch of features that I have no use for. Cons I wish there was a simple way to total the amount spent on repairs & maintenance, per vehicle, and as a total amongst the fleet Alternatives considered [Fleetio](https://www.capterra.com/p/120855/Fleetio/) Reason for choosing AUTOsist I chose autosist over the competition because it was the most user-friendly option by far. The other choices were cluttered with unnecessary features that were only going to get in my way. What I also like is that you can choose what features that you want, so that you are only paying for what you need. We use it to track everything from maintenance, to registration and driver information. And it is easy for our drivers to access and update information while on the road. Also, the customer service is amazing and they are always quick to answer our questions and very friendly. Cons So far, we have not had any major cons in using the system. The Team is very good at explaining the system. if we have an issue they are very quick to respond. Pros Pros : having a maintenance record for all of our school buses and school vans. Easy to look up specific vehicles . The mobile app is very useful , we don't have to be at a pc to look up information. The team is very helpful when we have a question or tech problem. Cons Over all I really don't have any complaints. One complaint the price we have to keep an eye on how man vehicles we have if we go over by a few it bumps us up to the next bracket. Pros I really like what we mainly use it for, quick access to different equipment and vehicle info, maintenance history, upcoming maintenance needed Cons I wouldn't say I like this least bc it's just the nature of the data, but I find it very manually entry heavy. Again without a digital transfer obviously it has to be manually input. But sometimes I think there must be a more efficient way to document all the service/maintenance that has occurred on equipment. Sometimes its being serviced by outside entities so I take the invoice and manually input those services Reason for choosing AUTOsist I remember that Autosist dedicated the time to touring us through the software and really being open to any questions, discussing features, etc. It was a good intro. Fast and efficient. Highly recommend! Pros Work orders are the most helpful for our team. Ease of use for all employees to report what needs to be fixed and/or repaired and our mechanics can see in real time what is going on. Cons Requiring the price of fuel. We have bulk fuel tanks and contract pricing with our fuel supplier, so this is not important info for the team to collect. And keeps up with mileage. Just a great product to see where your money is spent. Pros I have only been on this program since June and it has made my life and what I do for my company so much easier. Its first off user friendly and very easy to maneuver around in. It gives you so much options to be detailed with your equipment or the function you need for your company. I can't wait to see what a full year of 2024 brings us to show our owners the bottom line. December 3, 2019 4.0 This has been great, it has taken a lot of tension out of the air, with me not having to ask the drivers for the information. An automatic reminder is sent out at the being of each month for the inspections, and with in minutes of a driver completing and submitting, I am aware of any issues he is having. Pros Just being able to know if any of our vans are due service, registration, or just having issues with one click on each van. I don't have to wait for the drivers to share any of the information, from when they get gas, to how their vehicle is preforming. I am still finding new ways of looking at the data. Cons I haven't found anything I don't like, the guys in the field take a little while to warm up to using it to it's maximum potential. I would like for the map option to be a little more informative, but I am still learning my way around it. Reason for choosing AUTOsist We went direct with AUTOsist, due to the high praise and regards companies using the product, and once I contacted AUTOsist direct, the customer service (even before I began using the software) was above and beyond anything I expected. Also, the AUTOsist team has been very helpful when we need to customize something to fit our needs. Pros We needed a solution to bring our shop record-keeping out of the stone ages with paper files and AUTOsist fit the bill. Cons Getting our paper files uploaded into the system is fairly easy but the amount of records we had in numerous file cabinets was very time-consuming. The drivers also have direct access to needed documents as well. The reminders could be slightly better setup. If a service entered could update the reminder that corresponds, that would be very helpful. Pros The program holds all the relevant information to keep vehicles updated, including PDF copies of necessary documents that can be shared with employees on the road. Managers and end users can update daily if needed. We are notified and able to see vendor invoices immediately when vehicles are repaired or just regular maintenance is done; before the vehicle ever comes back in. We are better able to plan for major repairs or trade ins. Our insurance renewed during the week, while so many were on the road. Every driver had a copy of the new insurance card at their fingertips same day! This is most beneficial for gaining access in restricted areas for government jobs. Cons The least helpful is the mileage entries by individual update. It's great because users have the app on their phone and record all fuel and maintenance remotely. Less paperwork for support staff. All invoices are scanned into the software and are easily retrievable. Makes managing the fleet a dream. Pros The reminders ensure that no oil change, cleaning or transmission flush is missed. Several different people are using these vehicles, but the communication between users is excellent. Our mechanic has access and schedules shop time without being asked. Cons Nothing. Everything has been good. The only improvement I would look at is we purchase fuel in bulk and do not have pricing at the time of fill-up, but I would like to create spreadsheets with mileage and fuel consumption based on volume. " May 23, 2018 5.0 Pros What I like most is the product has a mobile app. Vehicles are easy to access and maintain. While having the ability to transfer vehicles that are being sold. The reminders about registration and insurance due on multiple Vehicles is a huge Time Saver. Reporting is easy so overall we are extremely pleased. Cons What I like least is there is no tablet app. No default capitalization. All data is wiped if you change vehicle types while you're entering a new vehicle. I would much rather be able to enter the dates rather than using the drop-down and choosing dates from the multiple months because when you're trying to get your data entered to begin with it's a huge pain. Review Source Response from AUTOsist May 25, 2018 Thank you so much for your review! We actually just launched the tablet version for iPads, and Android is coming very soon. Make sure you upgrade to Version 5 on the mobile app if your using iOS devices as it was just launched. There is default capitalization in the new app as well. For the vehicle type, we will see if we can fix that issue. It should not remove the year, make, model etc if you change the type so we will get that fixed.
