Transportation Coordinator, DOT Compliance Farming Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Love AUTOsist" February 13, 2026 5.0 As the new Transportation Coordinator here at ETS, I am also in charge of managing our fleet of 30 trucks and trailers. Several require DOT inspections and all require service. I researched several programs and found Autosist to be easy to use and most of what I needed. I would love to have our DOT inspection form in your templates. I tried modifying an existing template but could not make it work. It would require someone more savvy with creating forms. Pros It is very fuser friendly and intuitive. Tech support was great in the beginning when I needed assistance. Cons On date sensitive entries, the drop-down should start with the current year rather than have it listed last. Every date is usually today or in the future which requires scrolling rather than a quick click. They have always been available to help us fix issues and are always coming up with ways to improve their product. Pros AUTOsist made it easy to track our fleet maintenance and inventory. The price per unit made it an easy choice to go with AUTOsist. The system was easy for our team to learn and use with the mobile app when getting fuel and doing vehicle inspections. Cons In the beginning we had some difficulty with getting our team set up initially with passwords but the upgrades to the system took care of that issue. We found Autosist online, checked out the website and set up a demo. We worked with Z to get our account set up. They were very responsive and informative. Last year, we also added two of our sister branches to our account as well. The team was extremely helpful and took the time to review Autosist with each of the new offices. They were also instrumental in untangling our unique billing. Any time I reach out with a question, I am reminded how much I like working with the team at Autosist. Pros Autosist is very easy to use for fleet management once you get set up. The team is always very responsive and helpful. It's extremely helpful in our line of business to be able to access our fleet info via mobile app and on a desktop for information management. We really like being able to save all of our maintenance and inspection info in one place. Cons I don't have any cons at this time. I think the program works well. I use them daily to look at history and research any vehicle’s Reminders etc. Cons $ amount entry in a cell of the Add a Service portion. To enter after clicking the cell multiple backspace is required to enter versus just being able to enter the value. As a growing business with multiple vans on the road every weekend, staying on top of servicing, MOTs, inspections and compliance is critical. The platform keeps everything organised in one place — service history, reminders, documents and reports. The automated alerts are particularly helpful as they reduce the risk of missing anything important. It’s simple to use, clear to navigate and works well for a business that needs visibility across multiple vehicles. Customer support has also been responsive when needed. Overall, it’s a solid system for fleet maintenance management and has helped us stay more structured and compliant. Pros The automated maintenance reminders and having all vehicle records stored in one place. It gives us clear visibility across our fleet, keeps us organised, and reduces the risk of missing MOTs, services or inspections. It’s simple to use and works well for a growing business managing multiple vehicles. Cons Pricing is slightly on the expensive side for smaller fleets. We currently only need one additional licence, but the requirement to purchase in larger bundles (minimum five) has meant we’ve held off expanding our subscription for now. Owner Individual & Family Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Nothing else better" February 10, 2026 5.0 Having tried other apps and even considered tracking it on my own, there are too many options I use in AUTOsist, particularly the reminders for routine maintenance, easy uploads of photos to each record, and I keep notes in each maintenance record so I don’t have to keep looking things up the next time I have to do it. Support has been good and they always work with me. The app is easy to use and have been using it for years without ever having to read instructions, but there are in-app prompts of tips & guides to help you if it’s the first entry you’re making in any particular section. Pros App does a great job tracking maintenance and repairs. Tried others in the past but nothing came close. Setting up the auto reminders for maintenance gives me great peace of mind. Cons You need a connection to the Cloud but that’s not much of an issue. Recently, each time I select one of my cars and it opens up, it asks me if I want to save any changes every time I leave that particular screen, even though I haven’t done anything. We use it to track everything from maintenance, to registration and driver information. And it is easy for our drivers to access and update information while on the road. Also, the customer service is amazing and they are always quick to answer our questions and very friendly. Cons So far, we have not had any major cons in using the system. The Team is very good at explaining the system. if we have an issue they are very quick to respond. Pros Pros : having a maintenance record for all of our school buses and school vans. Easy to look up specific vehicles . The mobile app is very useful , we don't have to be at a pc to look up information. The team is very helpful when we have a question or tech problem. Cons Over all I really don't have any complaints. One complaint the price we have to keep an eye on how man vehicles we have if we go over by a few it bumps us up to the next bracket. It has made managing a fleet of vehicles so much easier for me. The GPS/Camera was super easy to install and so far all of the support i've received has been great! 5 stars!! Pros I love being able to track where my vans are at all times. The garage function makes it so easy to keep the maintenance organized. Lastly, I love being able to check in and see that my drivers are being safe on the road. Cons Having to download the driver videos in three minute increments is very time consuming. Pros Ease of use and imputing a new vehicle into the system. Camera hookup and set up was a breeze and easy to navigate. Also, on one screen it shows all the previous workorders. Cons I don't like that it doesn't email you scheduled or assigned workorders. August 1, 2024 5.0 Pros I maintain my own vehicles and this app makes my life and my record keeping so much easier! It is so simple to use and I love using it. I added a new bike and need an additional vehicle slot since my personal account only allowed for 5 vehicles and the Autosist team made it very easy to upgrade. Several years ago we had gone through a Compliance Audit and Vehicle Maintenance was found unsatisfactory. The same officer did the New Entry Audit (our company had changed names and gotten a new DOT#) and was impressed with documentation. She called our VM "PRISTINE!" It keeps our guys on track with paperwork, sends reminders for PM and it's user friendly!! Pros For the most part it is very user friendly, the amount of information that is stored with easy access when ordering part for a peace of equipment to MPG a vehicle gets. Cons It has more options then I utilize and have to get assistance to navigate through it but not sure if that is a AUTOsist fault or operator, I'm leaning toward operator. Reason for choosing AUTOsist It just seemed to be the smartest and affordable choice to make after looking at the many options that are available. I have not regretted the discussion that we made. Pros AUTOsist's ability to have all of your information in one spot as well as being able to input info from your smart phone is game changing. Its ease of you is especially important as we multiple hands in this program and it is easy to teach. They also have fuel tabs and other work tabs but i didn’t need that feature as it will take up a lot more time to key all that in Pros I used Autosist for years to record my service record on my trucks and I can check back anytime to monitor the spare parts life tenure which directly affect my maintainence cost. I do also like the reminders tab which I can schedule weekly maintainence and instruct my technician to do the preventive maintainence. This is important as down time is the biggest issues in transportation industry. Cons The pricing is in USD so if convert back to Malaysia Ringgit is actually quite costly for a small company like mine. March 28, 2023 5.0 The ability to track regular maintenance, not just on vehicles, but all the different equipment we have with easy has helped our mechanics tremendously. Being in the safety department and being able to do an inspection and track any findings we have until the issue is resolved, with reminders and work orders has really made our fleet of equipment much more reliable and our customers see it it too. Pros We are able to not only track maintenance but any inspection from multiple departments. We can track all findings, corrections and repairs very easily and quickly. Has made this process very efficient for our business. Cons I am do not deal with the cost of the program, but it has been worth every penny. May 20, 2022 5.0 We've been using AUTOsist for only a few months, but I'm impressed how it has brought everyone closer, how the mechanical issues have been resolved faster, and how much easier and quicker it is to log pre-trip inspections. With that safety has improved exponentially. During the short period we've been using it I have found some bugs, and I've reported suggestions. Every time I emailed I received a reply within minutes, my suggestions were implemented, and the bugs were fixed. It's great to know that we're working with a software company that cares about us, listens to our needs, accepts our inputs, and applies our suggestions. It has improved the quality of our vehicles and safety immensely. Cons The GUI could use a little polishing to be more up to date standards. Pros Has a lot of places to store information that is really helpful. Cons Would be nice to see a few different templates for inspections. We track all of our trailers in there so I dont need to check the engine and oils on a trailer for example.
