We have found that the average turn around time for a complete reference is much faster with online referencing due to having access to referees outside of working hours and allows for a greater scope of information to be collected. It's super easy to use. Cons Basically, it sent the references a list of questions, then let me know when the references responded, and showed me the responses. I could do the exact same thing myself in the same time and less cost. I thought it would be more robust. Reason for choosing Xref I am testing a couple different reference checking solutions. In the first instance, we get to see how quickly our client responds to our requests. Their response is up to their referrees. The system is great at reminding our clients to respond or chase up their referees.
