Pros Highfive has a well-designed interface that makes video conferencing an intuitive experience. The plans include hardware and both mobile and desktop apps though you can also use Highfive through your browser. The audio and video quality with Highfive has always been clear with little or no lag during conferences. Cons Meetings are capped at 125 participants which could be a problem for larger companies but otherwise I have no complaints. Review Source RC Ronda C. We needed a portable conferencing platform which was easy to understand for those who don't use teleconference systems everyday. This was the perfect fit at a great price for small business. Pros This is the easiest software to use! Participants do not need to install anything prior to the meeting. It also offers a pretty robust experience even in the free version. Call quality is consistent, too. Cons Hold audio repeats (and repeats and repeats) while you wait for the other party to join the line. It can get torturous, which is why the option to turn off hold music is a nice feature. If you're used to using software like GoToMeeting this will seem foreign. I do like that users can just click a link and join a meeting through their browser. It's cheap /user Cons Not all browsers are supported. Its lacking on the admin side of things if you want to add users and you have to down load extensions in chrome to get it to synch to your calendar, which sometimes worked, sometimes didnt. You have to pay for a year up front and then get a 30 day trial. That seems backwards to me and expensive to test out software. We are in the midst of getting the refund since we will not be keeping the software. The ability to share screens and present is huge even when all are present in the room, so you can collectively work through projects together using one screen. Cons Depending on what you're looking for and how big the organization, the pricing can get pretty high! With it being a very effective tool, however, all things should be considered. It is more intuitive than Skype, more stable than Zoom and for sure has the best video quality. Pros I like that, unlike many conference call software, UberConference puts all of the functionality in one place. I also really love the user experience and presentation of the calls. Cons Even though this is small, and may be a wifi issue rather than a software issue, but sometimes the screenshare feature is a bit glitchy. Pros UberConference is my favorite fall back conference software - most customers propose skype, hangout or heavier corporate solutions, most often something doesn't work. Then I just do the typical "should we try this link?" and send over an UberConference URL - it always improves the situation :). So UberConference does exactly what it should as a conference software - allows people to communicate using a simple in-browser environment that does not need \_any\_ setup, configuration or audio/video testing. Works out of the box! Also love the summary email after the call with % of who was speaking - brillant insight! Cons I did experience glitches with audio feedbackloops. In degrading connection quality the call quality does not degrade that gracefully as it I guess might - still looking for software that would degrade and cutoff my video if I want but keep the audio still as clear as possible. Pros UberConference is free. For a free system, it does well well for allowing large groups of attendees to join and converse with personal meeting dial-in numbers. The quality of the calls is always good. You can also see who’s on your call while the conference is going on. You can see who’s talking and what location their from as well. They also offer PINS to log into a conference if you want to keep things confidential. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a similar service. Pros I like that the quality of the calls is always impeccable. To me that is always the most important. Cons The only thing that could make this software better is if it were free! Call quality is good. Cons It usually works as intended, but it would be nice if there were a signal when someone left the conference, because sometimes it’s due to dropped calls and you can’t tell if you’re talking into the ether. Sometimes this creates overlap of calls or users with people entering a conference that they should not be a part of. The sharing screen feature allows you to decide what window will you share, so you don not have to worry about a indiscreet pop up message window to open in the middle of a remote presentation. And you can use it in your personal computer (desktop or laptop) as well as on mobile devices. Cons There could be a slight lag in screen sharing (even with great internet connection), I hope they're working on that. But in general it's a pretty simple and useful software.
