April 10, 2019 5.0 Pros When we've had clients that have used Highfive, video conferencing quickly because a great way for us to collaborate/communicate without feeling like we were losing quality. In most scenarios, video conferencing can be buggy and picture quality can dictate the experience. With Highfive, it was as though we were in the same room! Video/audio quality seems just as good as any other platform. Pros I really like the concept of being able to have long-lived meeting rooms that a team can pop in and out of, I like that better than always creating a Google meet link or something like that Cons There aren't as many screen display options as I would like (i.e. video layout options), and I long for a more slack-like emoji support in the chat. A little complex on the initial set up, but once you download and learn how to use it, it's awesome! I like how you can schedule a meeting straight from Google calendar, so you aren't having to use several different platforms for meeting set ups. I definitely think it's increased productivity by decreasing time spent setting up meetings and inviting people to share screens. Compared to other conferencing services, the reception isn't too shabby. Pros Simple concept, nicely executed, feels fresh and modern Cons Sometimes receptivity and sound are poor, but that could be an internet connectivity issue. Pros What I like most about the software is the ability for people to log into the conference call ahead of time, even if the organizer isn't online yet. Cons What i like least about the software is the volume limitations which can be challenging with a large group of participants, as well as someone else in the organization has to reserve the line and multiple people can want to use it at once. Pros The ease of use and the consistency in which people who have never used it before can use it first time and figure it out. I have many sales calls with people who haven't used Uber Conference before and they comment on how easy it is to use. My employer sent me an email, Uber Conference sent me a reminder 5 mins prior I was able to get connected right thru the reminder email. It was simple to setup, we didn't have any power coming from our ethernet ports so we addressed our concern to the highfive team and they immediately helped us find the best solution. We installed the highfive system in 2 of our offices and their team was there if we needed it for each office, every step of the way. Very user friendly interface, seamless screensharing, and perfect for across the office sales meetings! Pros It's really user-friendly, we have a few luddites in the office and they were able to figure this out quickly! It doesn't have unnecessary features or programs. It's what it says on the tin. I really appreciate that. Cons We've had some issues with connectivity that result from too many High-Five programs open too close to each other? Which means that often we can't be in the same room if we're on the same High-Five call. Pros It is easy to use, self-explanatory for a newbie to figure out without help. The icons are visible while being unobtrusive. I especially like the hold music. I struggled to get my computer and my TV to connect. At some point I just gave up on it, but one day I randomly decided to try it, and baam! It worked, and it's been working ever since, and it's easy to use, it's great now. Pros It's simple, painless, and very convenient Cons Honestly, it's all in the initial setup, I can't pinpoint the issue and I never actually fixed it, but when I got it going it was great. Excellent video and audio quality, both are clear and crisp. Can be used on a desktop PC/Mac or conference room system. High quality equipment is provided by High Five. Being on the go a lot, the mobile experience makes it super easy for me to catch meetings while walking or on the train to work. The office experience is great as well. The free version allows you a lot of the convenience of the paid version but does have certain limitations. The free version only allows up to 10 callers at a time but you are able to schedule meetings online and have online account access as well. It is really easy to set up this account and get people the information for the conference calls. This software has worked perfectly for our companies needs Cons We did have some trouble in the initial setup and understanding who had to put in a pin and who didn't. The call quality was much better than other web conferencing platforms. Cons Requires Google Chrome for screen sharing. The mic/speakers sometimes don't connect.
